Trojan URT

[17:29:11] <Dark-knight> [15:23:18] when I was in high school I reprogrammed a trojan virus, removed the code that let it connect to its creator and changed its download target, so that it downloaded my favorite game on all the computers in the school, by plugging my usb into an admin's computer that had access to the whole school network.
[17:29:11] <Dark-knight> [15:23:19] IT guy was pissed, and couldn't figure out why the game kept re-downloading on all the computers when he ordered the system to purge the game.
[17:29:11] <Dark-knight> [15:23:21] It only took me 1 day to make it. I took it from a nasty trojan and turned it into something completely harmless.
[17:29:11] <Dark-knight> [15:23:22] the IT guy did what any normal school system admin would do, he tried to wipe the game by using the network. sure he deleted the file and all the copys from the school network folder, but what he didn't realize was that it was too late and my trojan had already installed itself into the local storage on all the computers.
[17:29:11] <Dark-knight> [15:23:24] so every time he purged the network, it would just re-upload from one of the hundreds of computers.
[17:29:11] <Dark-knight> [15:23:25] The way I hide it was even funnier. I made it so every time someone opened IE and the updater.exe ran, it would update IE, but it would also upload my trojan, because it was one of the only programs allowed to modify network files.

[17:51:30] <Dark-knight> although I caught this one guy using a mombot in a computer lab and I got super pissed at him and unplugged his computer, told him he was risking the entire school getting banned because he wanted to be an asshat.
[17:53:24] <Dark-knight> he was like "i don't care, im not good enough so i'm going to use it" at that point I proceeded to find the IT guy and leave a note in his office about this kid, saying he was "downloading viruses on purpose". he lost his computer rights for the next 2 years.

[17:59:21] <Dark-knight> nobody in the school ever knew I was the one who uploaded the game. at that point I started to have fears that more people would start using hacks, so I modified the trojan to add a README.txt file to everybodys urban terror folder that said, "If you use hacks while playing this game, you will lose your computer privileges for the remainder of your time at this school and you will be...
