- 1. Intro RP--Kagami, Jin looking at both Roku, and Zexon, young Jin would take off his jacket, and roll up the sleeves of his white button up shirt. The young soldier did not want to end up as a heat casualty when building something so simple yet historically marking as a wall. After all, he wanted to be a part of this big event, to help the people and show that he was good for something, even if strength was not his best attribute. The young soldier wanted to prove himself by honoring the High Lords request, and fulfilling it with top effort.
- 2. "Guess I'll just wing it for now and follow the men doing the hard labor huh?" He asked the group of soldiers not too far away from him... Jin would also remove his soldiers headband, this was just for the cause of working more effectively without so much wearing him down. For this task, he would follow the instructions given to him by Zexon, stating that the wall could use some improvement upon the eastern section.
- 3. "Sounds good, will anyone else be tagging along?" Jin asked, not wanting to be the only soldier showing support to the civilian workers. And although it was a mild temparature now, even Jin knew that things would get hot after a single hour of hard labor; it was common knowledge that building a wall seems simple in theory, but is a long journey in reality. The soldier then took his leave if not interrupted.
- 4. The day was fresh, new, tasteful and free something akin to a fruit peeled off a tree. Jin was excited, ready to go and show what type of soldier he could be. Traveling to the eastern gates, entering the working grounds of the civilians who were already building up a large portion of the wall. "Hello there" Jin greeted as he waltz into the field.
- 5. But within a moment's notice, the young lad was ambushed, given a pile of reinforced wood to deal with. He would heed the lead construction workers authority and guidance. Understanding that his job would be to simply help deliver and stack the wood against the wall and maintain a solid foundation. "Understood," the soldier said, tossing a rope over his back and tying it upon his waist and shoulders.
- 6. Then he would carry out his initial task, helping bring the reinforced wood to the work sight… This section was no small area to cover, young Jin had to be sure that he could bring the wood from post, to post. "Here ya go, section A," he spoke to each of the small section supervisors, informing them of the amount of wood that was delivered. He would even take and accept a few additional work orders. Though, to Jin this was a form of training and discipline, knowing that if he desired to work with people then he would have to fulfill the needs of his village.
- 7. But the task wouldn't end there, no, Jin had many more duties to complete, not because the construction workers were unfair people. It was because Jin was willing to give them a hundred and ten percent, that's right, he over-worked himself for the sake of those around him, so that their jobs would be easier. The young Kagami born soldier cared for his village ever so deeply, from the bottom of his heart.
- 8. For him, this labor was more so a blessing, to sharpen his skills as a soldier while also giving him the satisfaction of being useful to his High-Lord. And just hours later, being drenched in sweat and his legs sore from carrying the cargo from one spot to another. Kagami, Jin was forced to take a break as his stamina was not all that great, actually having to take mini-breaks before this point had been reached. "Whew… This is one hell of a task, by the end of the day, I think my legs will be as strong as Nakami's," he joked to himself and those around who were listening. He took a sip of water, before preparing himself to carry the next load of cargo over to the next section.
- 9. Tired, but moved by a lawful motivation within, Jin carried on, dropping off the next batch of Reinforced wood to the center of the eastern wall. This time, a little change in the task he was assigned, yes Jin, despite being fatigued and hot from the hard labor and beaming sun. Decided that it would not hurt, if he got his hands dirty, grabbing the essential tools needed, all to help chop down a couple of trees. Why did he do this? The boss wanted to know.
- 10. "I saw that we were running low on wood, so I thought, why not go and gather a few more chunks of it, ey?" Jin spoke with a calm tone of voice, drinking large amounts of water. He had to remain hydrated after all, he was working under the sun for extended periods of time. "Where did you come from, where did you go? When will I catch you? Lazy Eye Joe," the young soldier sung himself a song in high spirits.
- 11. He was referring to his last mission where he encountered a bandit, and his song brought laughter to SOME of the nearby workers, while others wanted for the Kagami born soldier to shut his mouth. Yes, there were all types of people working here today, building and reinforcing the wall, from all corners of the village and from all roots of life. Those who have had it easy, working with those who have struggled for a decent earning. It was a unique thing to see, how life brings so many villagers together, to work in unison for the sake of their very home.
- 12..... "If it hadn't been for Lazy eye'd Joe, I'd been promoted a long time ago," Jin continued to sing while hacking away at a large tree with his axe, "Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you run, lazy eye'd Joe?" The young soldier swung his axe with as much force as he could. Now he was no strength builder, but he was devoted to this one tree, just as one would be with a serious relationship. Jin just wanted the massive thing to fall and so he would just continue chopping away, feeling as if his arms were becoming numb. So, for a moment or two, he would pause, taking a break from the swinging of the ace.
- 13. ... "We're half way there," he said to himself, picking the axe back up. He would then continue to swing away at the tree, not rushing, but also not being too slow. Jin took his time, practicing his aim with the cuts and how precise he needed to be, after all, it only took so long because he couldn't properly aim the axe to hit his mark every single time. But once after the massive tree had fallen, so did Jin, right onto his rear, releasing a long heavy sigh of relief.
- 14...."Phew, this was one hell of a work day, I should return to the town square… I've done my part, now I can take a break, until I get refreshed, then I can come out here again," Jin smiled. It wasn't much but it was honest work, being out with the civilians of the village, and being able to lend them a hand. It was a helping hand that did not result to violence nor did it have to be solved by using violence, and this made Jin proud to be who he was, living in the settlement that he was born in. "A true man's world," the soldier said before packing up his things and returning to the Settlements town square.
- 15.... Kagami, Jin soon lead Nakami over towards the eastern section of the wall, here the two would carry out the duties in which the civilians could not handle. So Jin made it clear through his instructions on what needs to be done. "With your strength, you my friend, can help carry the cargo from one post to another... This section of the wall is but one, however it is no small feat... If anything this is sorta like a training session, no?" Jin smiled, walking over to the work-shop to grab ahold of some rope which he would tie onto his waist like a belt and around his shoulders like a backpack. "We'll make our job simple, carry the cargo from point A, to B, C and D... That way the civilians can carry on their duties, and if you'd like.. We can also chop down some trees for additional wood...While they both reinforce and place it onto the wall itself," Jin instructed.
- 16... Nakami would be led by Jin over towards the eastern section of the wall where civilians could be seen scrambling to hammer wood, shape the tiles and even mixing mud to work as an adhesive. Nakami would listen closely to Jin's instructions as he nodded and responded. "Indeed. I shall do whatever I can with my strength comrade, whatever I can do I shall do. And indeed it truly is like a training session!"
- Nakami would nod to Jin's smile before following Jin and getting some rope and tieing it around himself, He would then look at each point before giving a nod of awknowledgement. "Osu. Sounds great. What should we start on first then? Carrying stuff of getting them wood?"
- 17.... Kagami, Jin nodding his head, Jin looks back at Nakami, "You can start now, bring that load of wood over from point A, where we are now, over to point C and D... But if you'd like, you can chop some wood... For now, I will carry this load to point B," said Jin. The young soldier would struggle, since the strength department was not his specialty, in fact, it felt as if he was building strength, simply by working outside with the civilians.
- 18... He carried his own weight, pulling his load over to point B where he would be met by the lead constructor of that section. The wood was then recieved by the workers and as for Jin, all he would take in return was a pat on the back, showing that he was doing a good job. But now he would worry more so for Nakami, wondering if he had issues mapping his way around the work site, but Jin gave him words of motivation. "Imagine it like a sand-box, you work where you believe your skills are suited best, so that you can mold out a good result," said the young Kagami.
- 19... Nakami nods back to Jin as he started packing items behind himself as he started adding weight slowly... 100 kilograms, 150 kilograms, all the way to 200 kilograms. Nakami would grunt as he began moving to the dropoff point needed. Each step would be done as a lunge as a means of exercise while he helped his comrades.
- 20... "I truly love having some weight on my shoulders! Hahaha." Nakami would lunge to pace with Jin's walk as he listened intently to what his comrade had to say, making sure to process the meaning of his words, as Nakami was not a genius or anything of the likes. "Oh I see. So I must merely help the sandbox become stronger essentially?"
- 21... Kagami, Jin amazed by the loads of weight Nakami was putting onto himself, Jin's eyes had wided to the max, "Amazing display of strength, you will have the civilians finish the wall in no time!" Jin cheered his comrade on while pulling what little he could. All while he did this, the young soldier would make sure to maintain communication with the construction workers as he and Nakami reached their intial drop off point, now heading on over to the next. "If you need to take a break, don't hesitate to do so, phew, these logs and chunks are heavy, and I'm breaking a sweat just getting them from one point to another," Jin spoke with a slight pant, trying to control his breathing and save his energy. "I will be right back, I will try to return with more soldiers to help, but stay here and continue carrying the cargo," he instructs.
- . Kagami, Jin says, Anyone else willing to help us finish up the wall?
- Kagami, Jin says, Looks like no one else is interested.
- Nakami says, A true pity.
- Nakami says, We shall be the ones who bring honor to this wall then.
- Kagami, Jin says, That we shall.
- 22... Kagami, Jin soon would carry out an additional load of wood onto his back, taking it down to point E... Now Jin did not exceed his own limitations, no he only would lift what he could possibly achieve at that moment. "Phew," the young Kagami born soldier said while removing the rope and other straps, not even half way to his destination as there were hundreds of other workers moving about, taking cargo and polishing the wood that was placed to reinforce the wall. "This wall, will be a beauty once it is done, but for now... Maybe I should wait for another soldier to show up, can't assume that everyone heard my message," Jin rubbed his eyes and head, looking back at Nakami in order to calculate the entire process, "If Nakami carries 200mg per trip, just how fast would we get this task done."
- 23... Kagami, Jin traveling back towards the wall with one ambition in mind, young Jin Kagami would take his time, especially now since the construction workers seemed fairly close to completing their task of building the wall. Now, more so than ever, young Jin would focus on the task at hand, grabbing ahold of a large axe, walking down the road until he would find a tree. Only then would he make the proper preparations to gather the wood.
- 24. ..."This seems about right," he said to himself while taking out a small and flat stone. Using it to sharpen the blade of the axe provided to him by the construction workers. Soon enough, he would size up the tree before him, looking at his axe's blade, taking the very first swing, one out of many. "If I keep this up, my arms will be as ripped as the hand to hand combatants here within the settlement," said Jin Kagami.
- 25....Jin would then continue to swing the axe into the tree, trying to build up his aiming abilities. He figured that if he were to be outside in the summer or season heat, that he would get some form of training out of it. He collected ten logs so far, now he would need to collect ten more alongside the other lumber-jacks who were gathering more than what Jin could even think of catching up to. "These guys have done this all their lives, I'm just a rookie who thought he'd do a good job," he laughed a little when speaking to himself. So young Jin Kagami took a brief break, drinking a moderate sized bottle of water.
- 26..."Phew!" He exclaims while forcing himself to stand up, "Round two." The young man went ahead to grab ahold of the axe, now moving onto another tree. He traveled to the third delivery point of the construction site, point Charlie. And at this point, the workers were nearly finished with the outer layers of the reinforced wall, adding the functions and seals needed to keep the land protected. Each of them were following the orders given to them by the High Lord, and as mysterious as the authorative figure was… He seemed to have many great followers, and soldiers willing to give him their all.
- 27 ....Young Jin would deliver the wood on over to the third construction team, then he would take his leave. The young soldier had to make a few passes, stopping by Nakami just to give his friend a pat on the back for helping out, as well as showing a profound devotion towards the well-being of the village. Not too far after, Jin would take his time, helping the civilian load up yet another cargo transporter, one where it would need a man or two on all four sides.
- 28 ...He stood there in their assembly line, waiting for the leading construction worker to give them commands. But instead of hearing such words from the man in charge of this sectors operation, it seemed like he had passed that duty onto Jin. So the young soldier did as instructed, yelling at the top of his lungs, "Lay-Ho-Heeave!" the teen shouts, giving the command to lift the cargo transporter and walk it to the desired destination.
- 29.... It wasn't too much, but it was true honest work, being alongside his countrymen. "Today, we honor the name of the High Lord, fulfilling his wish of reinforcing the wall, breaking down the old and creating a-new. This is who we are, a village," Jin spoke with a voice of leadership, giving them a motivational speech. Those men and women around him began to cheer, so much so that it felt like a grand celebration for completing their section of the wall and helping out, lending a hand to all other sections of the wall for the benefit of the settlement.
- 30...Nakami would drop off the 200kg of items to point A before walking back to the supply point before strapping in 200kg more of goods and lunging slowly yet surely towards Point B, Nakami would faintly hear Jin up ahead speaking about the message that was heard, which confused Nakami but he nodded once and kept delivering the parcels of goods that would be needed for the wall. "This is quite an ordeal comrades!" Nakami would state with a hearty cheer. After saying such Nakami would get to the point B as he would set down all of the needed items for the citizens before walking back to the supply point and proceeding to get one more batch of Goods for the citizens, this time grabbing 201 kg of goods, pushing the very limits of what Nakami could hold at this point, but it mattered not! Point C needed a resupply and that was what had to be done for his comrades.
- 31. Inspired by the wisdom and words of his High Lord, young Jin went to return to the northern walls. Showing up purely out of support and care for his fellow civilians and soldiers working on the wall.. He knew that they were close, and he wouldn't allow any laziness to postpone his victory over this wall. Something he HAD to accomplish, something he wouldn't stop at doing until it was done, just as he would with any other mission.
- 32. First things first though, Jin had to do what he did with this section of the wall, the same as he has done for the eastern section. The workers were running low on supply and they needed someone to help them replenish their wood stock. Not only that, but they lacked the working hands of people to finish the wall in a timely manner. It would seem as if this section of the wall was a total mess, something Jin, with the help of his colleagues would have to sort out.
- 33. He wouldn't hold nothing back, but the young soldier first needed to make his intentions clear. "I want you all to divide your attentions, don't focus on just one area of the wall at a time." But instead, Jin wanted everyone to split, so that they could get multiple jobs done at once instead of trying to compete with who should do what job and who will be the one to finish it all off… The young Kagami had much on his mind, but it was not anything he could not manage, in fact, this was where his strategic mind would come into play, using his wits to solve some of the issues instead of forcibly enforcing them.
- 34..So Jin went on to not just go and give commands, but to actually put in the work himself. Grabbing ahold of a near by axe, "Come, I'll need all the hands I can get," he said to the lingering workers who did nothing. He wasn't having it, no one would be slacking on the job, at least not while he was around… The boss may of given him an unpleasant look, but Jin knew what had to be done. With him, came a few helping hands, it wasn't much, but they were honest working men and women.
- 35. "That's it?" Jin asked him, casting the axe over his shoulder with Nakami at his side… A strong man, one who has been helping him since the very start of this little expedition of building a wall and gathering the abundance of material needed In order to construct it all. "You got this Naka! With all that strength, I believe that you will accomplish great things, and this wall, this wall is ONE of them!" Jin smiled, patting his friend on the shoulder.
- 36..."This wall, will be like a trophy of ours, something we can be proud of, our first major mission together, a relic of our times, for future generations to witness…" Jin then turned his attention towards the tree where he would swing his massive axe, pushing it deep within the bark of the massive tree. He would then repeat these movements, hacking away at the wood, and allowing the nearby civilian to come and gather it. After all, this assembly line had a primary function, a constant flow of work, something that could only be accomplished if everyone puts forth the effort.
- 37 ..."Lay-Ho-Heeve!" Jin shouted to those in the assembly line who were currently transporting heavy loads of wood from one point to another. In fact, it was Nakami and Jin who were putting forth the most work in this operation, at least in their section of course. It as something Jin could be proud of, something he could look back at in their future as soldiers of their settlement.. He even looked up to the high lord, wishing to become a leader of his clan one day, to inspire those like him.
- 38.."We're almost there fellas, just keep up the great work," Jin exclaims, watching Nakami haul such heavy loads across the field. From the gathering grounds and into the work-site and back again, Nakami showed much dedication to the mission, something even Jin could admire, and praise his comrade for.. It was because of this that Jin knew he could trust in the arms and strength of his comrades around him, Nakami, Mu and many more alike. This was what a village was, soldiers who came together, combining their strengths and talents for the purpose of forging something great.
