  1. {NARRATION} The letter you had received was quite specific. You were to travel to some obscure and seedy tavern in Nostvale to meet your informant, Matthew, the same one who hooked you up with the job for the Baron. You didn't think he could have another plan for you and yet the summons had seen quite urgent without revealing too much detail. The bar was dark, dim and stank. General ruffians littered the place but in the corner, looking quite spotless and standing out against the grime, was Matthew. He was drinking from a spotless glass resting on a small napkin. He seems to be doing well for himself. He waved you in as he noticed you and invited you to join him. "Ah, good, you came." His voice was a lot stronger than when you first met him. "I have another job for you all as you might well imagine. And this one is much, much bigger than the last one. Now, not to doubt you, but this is probably too big for you guys to do this unnoticed so instead I have prepared a different plan. A different method of attack." He leant in and lowered his voice. "You are going to be hitting the central Nostvalen Bank. At midday right when the guards change. You are to take as many people hostage as possible. Then, when the negotiations occur, you are to pose as Frostvalen remnants, rebels, that sort. Make demands, do whatever but just stall them so you can get into the vault." "It's sealed against magic so you'll need to do this the old fashioned way." He dropped a heavy hand drill on the table and a flask of a strange liquid. "Acid to eat through most of the metal and then a drill to go the rest of the way." He dragged a duffle bag onto the table and opened it. Inside were four sets of disguises and four other bags to carry the loot in. "How you get out is up to you. You can run, you can slip into the crowd or you can go out fighting, whatever you want. Just get the goods and meet me back here. I'll be working the presses, there'll be some nice cover stories spun for you all but try not to do anything that can easily identify you." He pushed the bag across. "Same shares as the last time, one fifth to me and four fifths between you all." He grinned. "Do we have a deal?"
  2. [14:41:16] Within the not-so inviting corners of Nostvale sat a bar in the middle of all the gloom. Immigrants from all over with little to nothing to live with other than the fruits of their unrecommended lifestyle would know of this place. Charlie's contact, Matthew, had arranged for them to meet in such a place in order to discuss the angle they'd employ for their ploy. Of course, Charlie knew many of the details beforehand and this would serve more as a briefing for the rest. That and there remained some crucial elements only he could provide.
  3.
  4. Stored in a wooden caravan not too far from the vile alley in whicht he bar slowly rotted in would be Charlie's own equipment. Notably the weapons she had gathered from the remnants of the huntsmen. Matthew was to provide the disguises Charlie had designed and gathered the measurements of her crew members.
  5.
  6. At the corner, she recognized the relatively flamboyant man beckoning her from afar. An unamused look formed on her visage as she'd sit down and wave for the waitress to serve her with a gesture that she'd take the same as him. Would it be for her? No, not today. Nor in the near future as such induldging would be rather unwise given her 'condition'.
  7.
  8. "Sounds fair. I have extra stocks of acid ready and wigs. The weapons are also stored. Can't really be too efficient with blades and staffs when crowd controlling now can we?"
  9.
  10. She'd lean in comfortably against her seat, the glass of alcohol being served as she'd confirm he transaction with Matthew.
  11.
  12. "Alright. Fair is fair. Though, you have the plans of the place, right?"
  13. (Charlie Avaline)
  14. [14:48:57] The Rosengard entered not too long after the others, keeping his massive sword strapped to his back. For now, he says nothing, keeping his silence for the duration of the heist. Though it might present communication issues, Onkolithos was certain that the others can handle all the small, medium, and large talks.
  15.
  16. The Rosengard looks away as Charlie proceeds to speak, keeping his arms inside of his cloak, occasionally glancing around the bar to be on the lookout for trouble. There was much to consider, the plans, the methods, the items used to break in. Smashing their way in seemed plausible, but there was still the issue of magic.
  17.
  18. "Hmm..." Onkolithos' lips thin inwards, getting ready to speak, up until answers the question on his mind. An extra stock of acid and wigs was re-assurring. Though, Onkolithos squints at the back of Charlie's head regarding the wigs, the silent, menacing edgegard remains vigilant over the discreet, bar meet.
  19. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  20. [14:51:31] Nostvale once more. It's been so long. She didn't remember the last time was here. Along with alot of other things. But remembering was priority. Following Charlie was. Since she wasn't completely sure why they were here. Just to have some fun, if she could remember. And in the act of following Charlie, she found herself within a bar.
  21.
  22. And talking to the man from before.
  23.
  24. She didn't know his name. She didn't really care either. While thy were idly chatting, Veridia found herself walking around trying to find someway to distract herself. She had her mask on. She wasn't sure if she was to have it on here or not. But it was on atleast. Though it was uncomfortable. And she'd rather just prefer to wear a hood or something. Along with that she was wondering how long they would be here.
  25.
  26. And how long would it before they would have some fun. Soon. The voice said. "I hope so..." She'd sigh and made her way over to Charlie.
  27. (Veridia Alesci)
  28. [15:02:36] Erika would follow the others into the bar a few minutes behind onkolithos. She too would remain silent, like the rosengard, though for different reasons. This time, she would keep herself out of the way, and in the shadows. Making sure that the contact didn't see her. Considering she arrived just a bit late, and would keep to the shadows, at the very least he might not see her face.
  29.
  30. Grabbing a mask out of the bag, she would slip it on. It wasn't all that comfortable, but it was something at the very least. Only now would she allow herself out of the shadows. Though, considering where they were, that would be just a tiny bit difficult. Not like it mattered however.
  31.
  32. From there, she would simply wait off to the side. Making sure not to draw attention to herself. An easy task, since usually the people in bars like these didn't really care unless you spilled their drinks or started a fight.
  33. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  34. {NARRATION} "Yes, yes, the layout, the guard duty, everything, it's all here." He dumped a dossier on the table and leant back, crossing his arms. "I should be a fairly easy job, most of the city guards are focused on the new heir to the throne so the probably wont respond with too much. But, you know what you're after and how to do it, get on with it. I'll be waiting for all of your returns." He gives you a dismissive gesture before returning to his reading. Everything was laid out before you and it would be a short walk to the bank from here. There were plenty of back streets to get changed in along the way. And the guard was going to be changing in one hour, more than enough time for you all to get there and get into position. The interior is full of people, at least fifteen bystanders and a couple of bored security guards. Everything is now in your hands. It's your mission and you have your guidelines. Whether you wish to follow them or not is up to you.
  35. [15:16:16] A nod was given to Matthew before Charlie would peer over at her crew. A second nod of approval was thrown, confirming thta everything was fine and they could now depart. Though before they'd go, the glass she had ordered would be shoved into Onkolithos' hands for him to drink. The only non-insane that wasn't pregnant had at least the right to dampen himself from the upcoming experience, right?
  36.
  37. They would be marching out of the bar and through the alley until they'd enter the caravan Charlie had rented. The chauffeur would lead them down multiple busy roads until the bank would be within sight. A mighty edifice indeed. They would all get ready within the transport, all of them wearing the same suit with a tie and a duffelbag for them to carry the loot. It was more than enough to get the bulk of what they deemed adequate for their hard work.
  38.
  39. "Do we have to go through this again?"
  40.
  41. She inquired, though it was completely rhetorical as she'd lay out her quick and simple plan for them to follow.
  42.
  43. "There's a couple of guards, non-magi, to be taken down asap. Don't shoot your rifles, that'll get everyone worked up too quickly. Do NOT kill unless absolutely necessary, but make sure everyone is disarmed, on the ground, and hands where you can see 'em. Anyone makes a bad move, they get the 'fun'."
  44.
  45. She grinned at that last part.
  46.
  47. "Alright ... Erika you're in charge to locking the entrance once we're in. Onko, Veridia, you pacify the guards and make sure everyone is getting down comfortably. I'll handle the reception. After that, well, it's a question of getting that vault open fast and getting as much as possible. Two in the vault to fill, two out. Got it?"
  48.
  49. That was the plan, though she'd still focus on her crew that was getting prepared.
  50.
  51. "Anything to add? Better ideas?"
  52. (Charlie Avaline)
  53. [15:24:48] Pacifying the guards was his job, getting them subdued and kept out of the way. But it was to be done. The hostages could be handled by Veridia in terms of speaking. Onkolithos could handle the restraining part. The sword is drawn from off his back, letting the hefty blade slam into the red carpet. The intent alone was enough to get the attention of the guards.
  54.
  55. A knowing glance is given to Veridia, as if expecting her to do all the talking before finally, Onkolithos leaps.
  56.
  57. Woosh!
  58.
  59. The sound of his cape fluttering in the wind as the Edgegard leaps through the air. Soon, Onkolithos comes landing before one of the guards, carefully rising up before he proceeds to wind up his right hand. This was the first guard on his list to subdue before finally, his attention was going to turn towards the remaining fourteen.
  60. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  61. [15:28:12] Onkolithos has nothing important to say, merely waiting for the show to start. Once the Caravan finally comes to a halt, Onkolithos hops out, waiting somehwere approximately near the caravan. That was all he had to say and do, because he'd probably do something dumb like charge ahead of the raid party while shouting out his name at the top of his lungs.
  62. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  63. [15:29:04] She would have followed after Charlie into a Caravan. Still wasn't sure what she was suppose to do. The voice in her head wasn't providing her with any help. Luckily for her Charlie would have explained to her the role she would have been playing in this whole thing.
  64.
  65. Pacify the guards.
  66.
  67. "I don't know what th-" Knock out the guards Being cut off by the voice. And with it now being simplified for her, she had something else in mind. "That doesn't sound like any fun..." That meant she had to show restraint. Especially since Charlie was really serious about her not killing anyone. She'd have pulled on her own hair for a few moments, conflicted!
  68.
  69. Whatever happens, happens. The voice quoting itself from a few days ago. She would have let go of her hair and nodded a few times to Charlie. "Okay." There was something said about rifles. Veridia didn't really listen because she doubt she'd even just the gun.
  70.
  71. As for the last part, she heard it clear as day. And she had a smile on her face. She'd be looking out for anyon who makes a bad move.
  72. (Veridia Alesci)
  73. [15:30:46] Charlie Avaline: Right ... When the hostages are all controlled, line them up. Onko, don't hesitate to beat them if they don't comply. Veridia, give them a lot of fun if they don't listen. Erika, help them once it's locked. We need to have the hostages under control.
  74. [15:30:46] Charlie Avaline: <*Opens up one of the buffelbags*> There are plastic cuffs, enough to restrain the hostages. You will all have a bag to carry the loot, alright? Alright.
  75. [15:31:37] Erika Giachetta Alesci: Hm? Ok then.
  76. [15:31:37] Onkolithos Rosengard: <*Walks up to Charlie and slowly puts the bufflebag full of plastic cuffs down*> Just- No. No...
  77. [15:31:37] Onkolithos Rosengard: I'll handle it.
  78. [15:32:28] Charlie Avaline: What's this, Onko?
  79. [15:32:28] Charlie Avaline: A better idea?
  80. [15:32:28] Charlie Avaline: Also ... Codenames.
  81. [15:32:28] Onkolithos Rosengard: The Boulder.
  82. [15:32:28] Onkolithos Rosengard: Anyways.
  83. [15:32:28] Charlie Avaline: Veridia is Red. Erika is Yellow. I'll be White and Onko will be Black.
  84. [15:32:28] Onkolithos Rosengard: I'll just cuff 'em with magic.
  85. [15:32:28] Charlie Avaline: Avoid showing your magic.
  86. [15:33:20] Onkolithos Rosengard: Shhhh- Right.
  87. [15:33:20] Spooky Ghost: (Don't make any assumptions just yet~
  88. [15:33:20] Charlie Avaline: Idealy don't use it when we're herding hostages.
  89. [15:33:20] Charlie Avaline: Only when needed ...
  90. [15:34:11] Charlie Avaline: I'll give orders as we go. Anyway, when we walk in pull out your weapons and don't hesitate to wave it around.
  91. [15:34:11] Charlie Avaline: Ready?
  92. [15:34:11] Onkolithos Rosengard: <*Nods*>
  93. [15:34:11] Erika Giachetta Alesci: Yep.
  94. [15:34:11] Veridia Alesci: 'Kay.
  95. [15:35:53] Charlie Avaline: <*Hands them all their masks*> When we walk out of the caravan that'll drop us in front of the bank, wear this.
  96. [15:36:44] Charlie Avaline: They modify your voices, courtesy of me.
  97. [15:36:44] Onkolithos Rosengard: <*Shoves mask on underneath hood*>
  98. [15:36:44] Charlie Avaline: <*Everyone has their wig and shit, all is nice*>
  99. {NARRATION} It was time. There was a hint of uncertainty in the air. Everything hinged on this moment. Now that you were disguised and ready you burst into the bank, weapons waving around. Most of the guards were subdued and the civilians began to panic and run around the place. You managed to stop most of them, but one of the guards managed to usher five people out. The alarm was going to be sounded and you had ten proper hostages. The three guards are knocked out and would be no real use. All in all it wasn't a perfect entrance but you managed to subdue a good portion of the people inside. Enough to give you a good bargaining position when the time would inevitably come. The guards had the keys to the back and to the vault door. A great metal thing that would stand infront of whoever would dare to tamper with it.
  100. [15:47:50] It was the moment of truth. Had pressed on her lower abdomen for a few seconds, Charlie took in a deep breath before shoving her mask on and proceeding to the assault. The squad would march in as the caravan would depart immediately after. Once they would be inside, guns were brandished and aimed at the populace.
  101.
  102. Panic spread, just as planned. The chaos was a good thing, but left massive room for error. Nonetheless, Charlie would keep her composed yet aggressive stature just fine.
  103.
  104. "Alright ladies and gentlement, if you want to buy that brand new set of shoes with the cash you've just withdrew, you will kindly lay on your motherfucking stomachs!"
  105.
  106. A glitchy, choppy voice would announce this threat as they barged in and the responsible members would handle the guards. Charlie would be swiftly to herd the receptionists, weapons pointed at them. They would have their hands up as the Avaline wouldn't hesitate to aggressively gesture her weapon to whoever seemed to act in a threatening manner. Understandably, they'd be scared considering such a weapon was particularly deadly to non-magi.
  107.
  108. "The keys to the vault. Now."
  109.
  110. She ordered menacingly. If left without an answer, a female receptionist would have her hair mercilessly pulled until an answer would be given. In the meantime her colleagues were the ones managing the guards and the hostages.
  111. (Charlie Avaline)
  112. [15:53:48] The guards. Onkolithos had to deal with them, charging over with a massive, deadly weapon being waved around. With the masks that changed their vocals now applied, it was time to have some fun with the heist at hand. A battlecry was uttered, one that would rattle the Bank's halls for years to come.
  113.
  114. "LEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOY!!--"
  115.
  116. Onkolithos swings the massive blade with one hand, swatting one guard to the wall before he rushes over to cuff their wrists with the fuzzy plastic cuffs. Another guard is glared at underneath the mask, Onkolithos soon charging over again.
  117.
  118. "MMM-- JEEEEEEENKIIIINNNNSSSS!!"
  119.
  120. One by one, Onkolithos ran through the guards, giving them each their own pair of cuffs before he eventually moves on to the civilians. There was still some guards, closer and more likely to be subdued by Veridia than by Onkolithos' hands. The Edgegard points downwards to the floor, directing their attention to the massive blade being wielded with one hand.
  121.
  122. "Stay down! There's fates worse than death if you try to play hero!" The modulated voice of Onkolithos was hefty, like a giant of a man uttering booming words to children. The hostages were soon set to work on being cuffed, with their faces to the rug and their hands cuffed behind their backs.
  123. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  124. [15:55:31] Erika Giachetta Alesci: <*locks the door behind them, and helps Onkolithos and Veridia*>
  125. [16:00:38] In the moment of truth, Veridia probably did something wrong. She wasn't too sure nor was she concerned. She just had to pacify the guards, as told. Though, she did stick around long enough to hear Charlie's demands of the people. So bossy. Veridia felt happy she wasn't one of the hostages. But she didn't give it much though, instead she went on to do her task.
  126.
  127. She had to find a few guards or someone that looked like one atleast. She went on ahead and walked around with her scythe out. She'd looked over to the hooded person who was with them. He was shouting and throwing guards around. Looked like he was having alot of fun. She wanted to have some fun to.
  128.
  129. Her eyes fell on a guard, who she quickly rushed at and jabbed in the stomach with the handle of her blade. She kept doing it until the guard was backed against and wall. And than came the reason she didn't grab any of those cuffs. She probably didn't know how to use them anyway, regardless of how simple they were. Instead she grabbed the guard by the wrist, applied alittle time magic, and broke both of the guard's wrist before forcing the guard to the ground.
  130.
  131. Than she sat on the guard's back as the others shouted all kinds of stuff. She wasn't one for that kinda fun. And she couldn't do the same to the other guard. Onkolithos probably already took out the others by now. It wasn't too much fun just taking out one guard.
  132.
  133. Though others Onkolithos missed were surely taken care of.
  134. (Veridia Alesci)
  135. {NARRATION} The guards hurriedly tried to act as pacified as possible. They weren't getting paid enough for this. The receptionist, however simply started to sob as Charlie gripped their hair. The stammered something incoherent before passing out in the chair. She slumped, knocking down a set of keys onto the floor. The keys would lead up to the Vault door, but getting through it would have to be done manually.
  136. [16:10:01] It seemed a little force was enough to have the staffers comply. Good. She smiled behind her mask before unhanding the woman and snag the keys instead. With that, she'd gesture Onkolithos to handle the remaining receptionist and tie her up like the others.
  137.
  138. The keys would be tossed toward Erika as she'd be tasked to open the door, making her the official door master of the gang. Charlie would follow behind her, eyes overwatching the whole scene as she expected the alarm to sound at any moment. Especially with somethat had managed to flee despite their tactic. This made the leader of this heist scowl.
  139.
  140. "Fuck, how did ANY of them escape?! Ugh ... Red, break their legs if they don't go in the line and spot moving."
  141.
  142. The Avaline would fondle with a duffelbag she was carrying; the one with all the tools she needed to break through obstacles. It'd be a small, rectangular object wrapped in white paper. It seemed to have a slightly green-ish side. It was a rune-bomb charged with acid. Easy to produce for a runewriter and alchemist. She'd toss it at the entrance door, green side slapping itself onto the door. It was sticky, allowing them to blow up the door if there'd be any rushed assault from the authorities.
  143. (Charlie Avaline)
  144. [16:11:44] Veridia Alesci: Just guards...?
  145. [16:12:35] Charlie Avaline: All of them who don't listen.
  146. [16:19:24] "'Kay!"
  147.
  148. The mask was made her voice sound funny. Not Haha funny. More like... Creepy clown funny. She didn't understand why she didn't get a mask that sounded funny. But she didn't ask for one, so it was her fault wasn't it. It didn't matter. She would have gotten from the back of the now wobble-wristed guard. Beforce she left him, she squated down beside him and patted him on the head like a Dog.
  149.
  150. The guard must have been feeling all kinds of fear, at last some would say so. "Just listen and I won't have to break your legs... 'kay?" She would stood up straight and than looked to all of the people in the room. "THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU!" A smile under her mask, unseen by the people.
  151.
  152. "Just listen and I won't have to have some fun with you all!" She'd suddenly look down. "Regardless of how much I want to." And than she would have started walking around and looking at th people on the ground. People who didn't listen quickly got their legs broken. Stomped to be spefic.
  153. (Veridia Alesci)
  154. [16:31:21] The guards were subdued, hostages were taken. Everything was definitely going fine, as far as he could tell. The vault key was now in Charlie's possession, Veridia was subduing the guards and civilian with her ideal fun. Meanwhile, the Rosengard checks his immediate vicinity to make sure they have cuffs on.
  155.
  156. Onkolithos raises a thumb's up high into the air, enough so that the others need only to glance at the 6'1 Rosengard raising a thumb in the air. Finally, he moves onwards, checking from captive to captive to ensure they were truly subdued. "Stay put, we do not wish to harm any of you." His voice still carried enough weight for them to hear, "But if you move, you'll have to deal with the clown."
  157.
  158. Onkolithos was sure that, from Veridia's words and scythe alone, they'd do better than to toy around with the giant Edgegard's words. But now, it was time to keep patrolling, occasionally glancing from captive to captive as he adjusts the cuffs on their wrists.
  159. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  160. [16:34:46] Erika Giachetta Alesci: (Just going to white text this as well...)
  161. {NARRATION} News travelled fast in this city. Especially when someone had decided to try and rob the city's major bank. Word of mouth rapidly spread until it reached the ears of Nostvale's chief. It wasn't really something he could ignore and given that he had earned the position recently this would be something to prove himself, to get under his belt. As he arrived on the scene another guard came over and handed him a slip of paper and a rune powered megaphone type of device. The paper told him everything that was going on inside. The three captured guards, the ten hostages and the four assailants that seemed to have locked themselves inside. This was going to be a rough day for Hauk Fildegarde.
  162. [16:35:37] Erika Giachetta Alesci: <*Goes to unl- nevermind theres a pest in front of us*>
  163. [16:49:16] Fuck.
  164.
  165. Today had been going so well. What with having a lovely chat with Astoria, rediscovering the meaning of self-esteem, an entirely consensual bout of protected sex with a servant, a fantastic nap... But of course. This day couldn't dare let him enjoy it for long.
  166.
  167. Yet he'd grin! This was surely going to be fun. A rousing bout of negotiation followed by hopefullysaving the lives of thirteen people, stopping criminal scum, and unmasking whoever decided to ruin the peace of the city he was now in charge of defending.
  168.
  169. ...Even if negotiation with terrorists was a disgusting activity. These civilians had done nothing to hurt anyone! Paper in hand and magical megaphone ready, he'd shout inside.
  170.
  171. The voice they'd hear is most certainly unchanged, besides the volume-It is absolutely the semi-famous marshal Hauk, his voice backed with confidence for once. And annoyance.
  172.
  173. "This is the police." He began.
  174.
  175. "We are.. unfortunately... Willing to negotiate. Prove you are willing to co-operate. Send a hostage out now."
  176. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  177. [16:57:48] What was this? A negotiator showed up already? It seemed Nostvale wasn't getting all that lazy after all. Charlie would pause as the door to the vault was opened, turning to face her crowd control squad. She'd let the familiar voice finish his proposal before she'd chuckle.
  178.
  179. "Wow, they've sent HIM. Right ... Black, tell him to kindly buzz off. Red, make sure to make a hostage SCREAM of joy if the bad man doesn't listen."
  180.
  181. She'd order her colleague before marching into the vault. Her eyes gazed at the area to notice anything particularly suspicious before the massive wall of metal would be admired by the girl. There was no time to waste, the acid stored in her bag would be taken out and she'd already calculate the weak spots to target with it.
  182.
  183. Gesturing toward Erika, the Avaline would dictate the next move.
  184.
  185. "Keep a watch at the door. And get me that drill."
  186.
  187. And with that, powerful corrosive fluid would be poured on multiple locks on the vault. The goal was the weaken its structure enough for the drill to stab through it with ease. They didn't have much time to spare, as such this step was inevitable.
  188. (Charlie Avaline)
  189. [17:01:13] Hauk had showed to deal with the situation. Of course, this was to be expected that someone show. But the fact that it was Hauk only made Onkolithos groan. This wasn't going to come easy, with a nod towards Charlie as the Rosengard proceeds to hoist a hostage to her feet. Carefully, the Rosengard went towards the front, peeking her head out the window.
  190.
  191. "PISS OFF YA WANK-UH!"
  192.
  193. That was all Onkolithos would mumble out towards Hauk, easing the hostage out the door as he himsel peeks as well. "If you ain't goin' to buzz of, you ain't gettin' a hostage back up! And no funny business, or else the dame gets it, you wank-uh!"
  194.
  195. Those were Black's demands. The sword is temporarily withdrawn as Onkolithos pulls out the most deadly weapon known to all valmasians. A plastic knife. Thankfully, from afar, it looked very much like a real knife.
  196. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  197. [17:08:03] There was someone outside talking loud. Something about negotiating. She wasn't really listen. All she could tell was that whoever it was, they probably were here to ruin the fun. She didn't need Charlie to tell her that to know. But what would they do now. She would have looked to Charlie for an answer.
  198.
  199. She was given an instruction that seemed to lead to alot of things. Charlie said to make a hostage SCREAN with joy if the bad man doesn't listen. Vague as it was a thought entered her mind quickly of what she could do. She would have stopped and looked at a hostage that seemed to be scared for their life. She move towards them and pressure on their arm. Little more and she would have fractured it.
  200.
  201. Alittle more she would have obliterated the arm.
  202.
  203. With her foot still on the hostage's arm, she would have covered their mouth. They might have started screaming in joy early if she didn't do so. "Shhh." Hushing the hostage.
  204.
  205. "Don't scream early... you haven't had any FUN just yet." She'd giggled. The hostage must have been crying atleast?
  206. (Veridia Alesci)
  207. [17:19:08] A hand presses against the bridge of his nose, the other about ready to punch the daylights of the guardsman fearfully standing next to him, sweating bullets as the marshal's brow raised. Buzz off? He would do NO SUCH THING! Quick hand gestures are made to one of the many officers, and he draws near, waiting to be commanded. Back into the megaphone he'd shout, annoyed even further and a dangerous edge to his voice.
  208.
  209. "I'm giving you one more chance to negotiate. That's two more than you deserve, you fucking scum. Perhaps you don't understand..." A pause, and a whisper to the guard captain next to him.
  210.
  211. With that, a veritable wall of guardsmen advances five, six paces forward-And on each side, another wall. They were everywhere. Like a swarm.
  212.
  213. "You are not in control of this situation. I am. And I am being very, very lenient! Give us a hostage. Unharmed." Eyes lock directly onto 'Black' and his mask, as well the hostage he was currently threatening.
  214.
  215. "Or we get to have our own fun, and tear those dumbshit masks off your heads. You have fifteen seconds." Sure enough, a pocketwatch is fished from his pants, opened quickly and stared at.
  216.
  217. "Fourteen."
  218. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  219. {NARRATION} The vault's metal slowly started to fizzle and smoke under the acid. The thick layers of solid steel were beginning to peel away, thinning the metal. Some of the locks began to fall away, the metal shearing off under its own weight. However, this was only a small patch and there was still at least another half to get through. It was a good start but more time would be needed.
  220. [17:33:39] The acid seemed to work, however the vault door was as efficient as expected in terms of defense. It was time to advance. With the drill arriving in Charlie's hands, she'd be quick to set it up, the legs glued to the wall and the loosened metal door. The drill would be held straight with the structure it be set within. Once finally activated, the thermal drill would start to dig through the more rebust portion of the locks.
  221.
  222. "Hmmm ... Give him one. Slowly. We don't want him to feel TOO heroic now can we?"
  223.
  224. A simple order she'd have echo right to Onkolithos as the drill continued its work. Acid would keep on being poured on the few remaining untouched locks. Right now it was but a question of time before they'd be in, and they had to stall the authorities until then.
  225.
  226. "Yellow, gather all identity cards or whatever that holds a name from the hostages. One of each suffices. Put 'em in a bag for now. Oh and I could use a drink."
  227.
  228. She'd order, still overwatching the laborious process. Her hand would often be seen gently caressing her abdomen as she went idle. Her eyes seldomly peered over at the hostage situation, insuring that Onko didn't mess up too much.
  229.
  230. "Red, don't break a leg just yet."
  231. (Charlie Avaline)
  232. [17:37:04] "YEAH YEAH QUIT COUNTIN' THE AMOUNT OF BAGS O' DICKS YA EAT FOR BREAKFUHS!"
  233.
  234. Onkolithos immediately pushes the first hostage forward before waving the plastic knife in the air, threatening it at no one in particular. One hostage was given, but only one. "Keep your goons out the building! They set one foot near the door and we'll BLOW UP the whole joint! If ya wanna risk the lives of civilians just to kill us, you're sofa-king dumb!"
  235.
  236. Onkolithos peeks back inside, rushing away to grab hold of yet another Hostage. This time, however, Onkolithos pops the door open, just wide enough to squeeze the hostage out to show him off for Hauk. "STILL GOT MORE! NOW BEHAVE AND NEGOTIATE STUFF!" Onkolithos quickly pulls the second hostage inside, away from the door and away from any funky business.
  237.
  238.
  239. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  240. [17:42:11] Veridia didn't pay attention to the orders Charlie gave to the others. They weren't her's so why would she need to. No. She was more focused on the ones she was give. She was told not to break the hostage's limb yet. But she was so ready to do it. And she could do it in a few moments like it was nothing.
  241.
  242. She was staring down at the scared hostage intently. Break it. The voice ordered. And suddenly, Veridia was conflicted. But the voice kept ordering it over and over in her head. Break it! Break it! BREAK IT! It said. Veridia would have groaned as she didn't really know what to do But over the course of a few minutes, she came to a descision.
  243.
  244. Her foot applied alittle more pressure to the limb before she fractured it. Not completely shattered it like she planned. And kept her hand over the mouth of the hostage, her scream was muffled to near silentness with the aid of some sound magic.
  245.
  246. Veridia only had a smile on her hidden face. Hopefully Charlie wouldn't figure out she disobeyed.
  247. (Veridia Alesci)
  248. [17:56:41] Erika would continue to keep watch, making sure no guards had slipped through, or that one of the guards outside hadn't managed to sneak in some way. So far it had been a fairly boring job. Every thing seemed to be going smoothly. Negotiations held back and what not. Though, she did wonder what would happen if they got in. If the whole thing fell apart. Someone like her getting caught in something like this. It certainly wouldn't do her any favors.
  249.
  250. A quick idea would form though. A plan, in the form of a couple of handcuffs dropped on the ground. Those would certainly be useful, and because of that she would duck out to snatch them up. No doubt Veridia and Onkolithos had a few spare, so she wouldn't need to worry about them. But she doubted charlie had any, so she would toss a pair over to her.
  251.
  252. "Hey, uh, this goes south, might need a back up back up plan. Just being safe. If you want, draw something anti magic or something. But, yeah."
  253.
  254. It was true, it was unlikely Magi would be held down by a pair of plastic handcuffs, but there was always some story to spin. Perhaps of the theoretical bank robbers being far stronger then them. After all, one couldn't fault them for giving up in the face of a hopeless battle, now could they? Ridicule, maybe, but certainly not fault.
  255. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  256. [18:05:13] She'd be shoved out, tears streaming down a young face- It was the second crying face he had seen today. Last one had recieved much different treatment. She'd be caught in one arm, the other carrying the megaphone tightly. So they were capable of being relatively reasonable. What a shock.
  257.
  258. An annoyed grumble is shot out, an officer takes the girl away to be kept safe, and he continues speaking to these lowlifes who would dare fuck with the city and its peace- As well its citizreny. Konaa Hirano didn't protect this shitbin for nothing.
  259.
  260. "Good to see you are able to process the concept of working with me here. Now, I'll be very, very simple. What are you demands?" Cloak rustling in the breeze, he'd glance to the sky-Such a lovely one, even if it was getting cloudy. Perhaps it would rain.
  261.
  262. "We're not cruel people. Don't make this harder than it needs to be, because we can definitely get harder." The other hand rubs at his temple, annoyed at it all.
  263.
  264. The megaphone is lowered, and he utters to seemingly no one, "The things we put up with..."
  265. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  266. {NARRATION} The drill had made good progress and it was very nearly through. Just a few more minutes and they'd be able to manually unlock the door and get inside. Unfortunately, just before it got through the rest of the way it puttered. A second later shards of drill went everywhere. Well, It had done most of its job at least. A strong shunt should shear the last of the locks at this point and give you access to the treasures within.
  267. [18:22:17] The drill was doing its work as intended. Matthew proved to be reliable once more with providing the right tools for the job. Though the intelligence this time seemed a bit less relevant than it was in the mansion, there was hope that these plans would be correct and secure an adequate escape. The Vault door wasn't opened but was let loose enough to be manually shoved. And one with superhuman strength like Charlie could perform such an act.
  268.
  269. Both hands on the disconnected, broken locks would allow the girl to strongly tug the giant piece of metal. It would budge of course as her physical strength was enhanced. Once pulled to the point of being disconnected from its frame, a kick would be performed on its side, thus having it roll farther into the steel box the vault itself was sealed into.
  270.
  271. "Thanks. As for back up to back up ... Well, there should be a few options. Check what's inside and start loading if you see the pie. I'll be with you in one sec."
  272.
  273. She'd order Erika as the cuffs would be gracefully accepted. She could apply the sealing rune whenever, but right now more important issues were at hand. Marching through the hall, she'd gesture as Onkolithos to cool it for a moment as she approached next to him.
  274.
  275. "Our demands? We want your people out of our sacred land. You've devastated EVERYTHING and angered the the spirit. There will be blood if you do not follow our instructions to the letter."
  276.
  277. A vicious tone behind a corrupt and robotic voice.
  278.
  279. "All Nostvalians and Alterosi are to be removed of the Frostvalian lands and restoration of its former self funded by the people who have destroyed it. All survivors of Frostvale are to be housed there at the government's expense."
  280.
  281. Extremist enough. Open for debate and discussion.
  282.
  283. "Follow this kind of narrative. If he offers anything interesting, free a hostage. If he does anything stupid, let Veridia party."
  284.
  285. She whispered to the man, a voice weak enough so that the terrified hostage would only hear unintangible noises.
  286. (Charlie Avaline)
  287. [18:29:07] Demands were being made by Charlie. Veridia wasn't really listen but she knew it wasn't something that interested her all too greating. All she was waiting for was her que. Her que to let screams of joy fill the room. And thought was enough to keep her smile under the mask persistant.
  288.
  289. Soon. The voice said. She would have waiting quietly. Keeping the hostage she was hurting quietly on the floor. Veridia was making sure that the one in particular would be the first one to scream in JOY. To show all the people outside that there were some REALLY thrilling stuff happning inside this place. And speaking of this place, where were they? She wasn't too sure really.
  290.
  291. She'd looked around. A bank. The voice said. "Oh right..."
  292. (Veridia Alesci)
  293. [18:30:49] It was go time, Charlie had given him the narrative and he was going to follow through with it. As if the shoddy, Danarium accent wasn't enough, it was time to kee up at it, until Onkolithos was sure that even Onkolithos thought Hauk was talking to extremists. Peeking his head out the door as usual, Onkolithos sticks a hand out.
  294.
  295. "Our demands? OUR DEMANDS?! ARE YOU HIGH ON OPIUM?!" Onkolithos pulls away momentarily to swallow his laughter, feeling himself getting too into character. Finally, he emerges his headout once more, ready to continue the charade.
  296.
  297. "Long time ago, when you still had black hairs instead of going gray in scalp, I had a home. A reeeeeeeeal nice home, y'know? Snow and shite, pretty. Brilliant. And then..." Onkolithos reels back, inhaling air as he proceeds to shout at the top of his lungs.
  298.
  299. "YOU WANK-UHS TOOK ME HOME! NOW RYUUJIN IS FLYIN' ROUND AND HE. IS. PISSED. AND YOU FAUKIN' KNOW WHAT?! I'M PISSED TOO!"
  300.
  301. Onkolithos takes a moment to suck in his gut, to hide his laughter as he continues shouting obscenities at Hauk for all to hear.
  302.
  303. "GIMME BACK OUR LANDS, GET YOUR ASSES OUTTA FROSTVALE, AND REBUILD EVERY SINGLE TILE YOU ASSHOLES RUINED IN THE FAUKIN' FIRST PLACE! YOOOOOOU CREAMO'DACRAP, GRADE EY PLUS PLUS WAAAAANKUUUUUUH!"
  304.
  305. But before he forgot entirely, Onkolithos included one last thing.
  306.
  307. "Oh! And give us Frostvalian folk housing. And you wank-uhs can pay for it. Only us survivors though! So Don't go stickin' the faukin' dead Frostvale folk in 'em!"
  308. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  309. {NARRATION} With the door finally open the contents, the spoils of this heist, were revealed. Lay on a raised dais right in the centre of the room are several bars of gold. Large, thick and above all else, heavy. And there was a lot of it, probably too much to take. Lining the walls are several lockboxes with who knows what inside them. Perhaps treasures, perhaps forgotten lunches. As you cross the threshold into the room you can feel your magic being drained. The whole room is lined with Cold Iron. No magic could be used in here. It was all manual labour from here on out. The keychain was thick and heavy and laden with a multitude of keys, perhaps some of them will fit some of these boxes. Though it would be a hard task to check them all.
  310. [18:47:02] Erika would make her way into vault to see what all was inside. And, inside, she would find lots and lots of gold. Far more then she would be able to carry. However, as she approached it, she would feel herself being drained. The vault appeared to have been magic proofed. That was... equally disappointing and, rather great. If things turned south, then they shoved them into the vault. Though it also meant that she wouldn't be able to use her wind magic to carry it out. At least, not until she left the vault that is.
  311.
  312. Off to the side, she would notice a number of lockboxes. And, each one seemed to have a key corresponding to it. Certainly, no one would care if she just took a quick look, would they..? No, probably not. At least, no one that actually mattered.
  313.
  314. Slipping the key into the lock, she would open the lockbox, and take a quick look inside to see her spoils. Whatever could they be?
  315. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  316. {NARRATION} The inside of the lockbox was dark, but something gleamed in there. Something far rarer and more valuable than the gold that littered the vault. No, this was True gold. A small bar of Orichalcum, small enough to secrete into a pocket unnoticed, was hidden within. The lockbox contained a few other objects of little consequence, a rather cheap watch, some files and a few photos, none that you'd recognise.
  317. [19:04:57] Face, meet palm.
  318.
  319. This was so, so stupid. Really? What, was he supposed to just politely tell Kylar and maia to fuck off the terrority so some criminal scum would hand over hostages? Fucking seriously? Extremists were such brats about everything.
  320.
  321. It was shit like this why he was greying early. The hand would firmly the grasp the megaphone again, bringing it close to his face and actually shouting into it, his loud voice given an even louder volume. "Do NOT play stupid. I'm not in the mood to listen to batshit crazy demands!" A sigh.
  322.
  323. A more measured, patient, controlled tone continues. "...I can't give you that, all of a sudden. But I can give you some help here. There are plenty of people hurting from the war-Give us two hostages and I can see what I can do to help refugees, alright? Not everyone profitd from that shitshow of a war." It was damn-near close to pleading.
  324.
  325. He felt sickened. Lying was never something he enjoyed, but hey! These disgusting savages had endangered countless innocent people. These citizens... How many mothers and fathers were in that building? How many children?! There was even some of his own men, locked in there.
  326.
  327. Each counted on him. The whole city-Fuck, this whole empire had its eyes on his actions. His reputation, everything. Hanging in the wind.
  328.
  329. "...I should've brought the fucking Jay. I need some advice. Aagh." He'd mumble to himself, before silently motioning to the wall of guardsmen-And each would advance another two paces, for posterity.
  330. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  331. [19:13:29] While Onkolithos' discourse was beyond recommended, Charlie recognized the results brought by this extremist push. They knew their 'intentions' and could work with this for damage control. Good enough, the Rosengard could handle this one his own. A tap was given on his shoulder as Charlie would march back toward the vault.
  332.
  333. Though she'd make a quick stop at Veridia's position with the lined up hostages. Hands on her hips, Charlie noticed the pitiful state of the hostage she was currently holding in place.
  334.
  335. "Not yet ... The bad man is doing well! But ... I need a leg broken. But don't let the scream come out yet! Okay?"
  336.
  337. She instructed Veridia and allowed the whole lot of hostages to hear. It was cruel, but it was the best way to approach this. A wounded hostage would inevitably give them the advantage in a pinch, unless they had to retreat. But they had a bunch of unharmed for that.
  338.
  339. Now back into the vault, the amount of gold in there would leave her in awe. Grabbing the empty duffelbags she had left outside the vault, they would all be placed on the ground within the vault until ...
  340.
  341. She'd feel it.
  342.
  343. "Fuck, anti-magic ..."
  344.
  345. Her bag containing her tools would be quickly tossed out before she'd drag the bags back out.
  346.
  347. "We need get as much of this shit as we can. Without my magic I'm strong but not enough to carry this much gold in a bag. There should be a trolley somewhere ..."
  348.
  349. She'd look around, noticing the boxes with keys associated to them. The Avaline would go for the trolley.
  350.
  351. "Checked what's in the boxes? Stored stuff usually. Probably worth a check, no?"
  352. (Charlie Avaline)
  353. {NARRATION} The gold had not been moved in a long time. It was more a symbolic show of strength that they could leave so much wealth on display so casually in their vaults. To show everyone who went to their strongboxes just how rich and powerful Nostvale was. This was of course backfiring but it also meant that there were no tools nearby to shift it properly. All you had to carry it was your arms and back.
  354. [19:21:10] A thumb's up is given as Onkolithos returns his head inside. This was fun, though, despite the threat of being arrested and possibly executed, the Rosengard was able to easily forget his troubles, for now. The extremist angle was working, howver, Onkolithos couldn't just give too many hostages up so readily.
  355.
  356. They needed time. He'd simply have to stall. "Uhhh... Look, buddy, pal. Whatsyourface..." Onkolithos speaks calmly, peeking his masked face back out the door. "I see what you're tryin' to do... But if you keep MOVING THOSE FAUKIN GOONS WHEN I SAID NOT TO, YOU'RE GONNA ENDANGER A LOT OF PEOPLE YOU FUCKWIT!"
  357.
  358. Onkolitho returns to shouting, moving away temporarily to grab yet another hostage. This time, the hostage is peeked outside the door, another knife held to his throat but this time, the knife was very real. "You're doin' SHITE NEGOTIATIN' HERE! TWO FAUKIN' HOSTAGES FOR SHITE YA CANT EVEN PROMISE?! I WANT HOUSES, I WANT MY PEOPLE TO BE FREE TO BREED FOR PUREBLOODS IN THEIR OWN FAUKIN' HOMELANDS, FREE OF YER INFLUENCES!"
  359.
  360. At this point, the knife is pressed carefully underneath the hostage's neck, needing only a single twitch of the wrist to end the man's life. "So here's what I want, yeah? I want you to take twenty paces back-- You and every ryuujin-damn goon you got! And then! ANNNNND THEEEEENNNNN! I'LL GIVE YA THIS HOSTAGE! DEAL?!"
  361. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  362. [19:22:52] When Charlie came over, she was expected to be told to break the arm. Buy, you know what she was told instead? Not yet. Veridia would have swung her head back and than fourth, and finally looked at Charlie. When was she going to be able to have alittle fun! Just because the man was doing good? That wasn't very fair.
  363.
  364. She would have groaned before looking back down at the pinned hostage. But her eyes quickly flew back over to Charlie as she was told that she could break a leg. Atleast, that was what she heard. She would have taken her leg off the hostages arm. They'd looked relieved for a moment. But that was before Veridia pulled there head back as she took a few steps back. Than her foot fell on the back on the hostage's knee.
  365.
  366. Veridia's foot would have risen. And than she stomped on the knee. She probably broken the connection between the two bones at the knee, as it seemed the hostage wouldn't be using that leg for a long time.
  367.
  368. They'd tried to scream once more, but with Veridia's hand over their mouth, it was pointless.
  369.
  370. She would have moved back to the orginal position with her foot on the hostages arm. She hadn't had enough fun with them. Not yet. The arm needed to break before than.
  371.
  372. Than the screams of JOY would fill the room.
  373. (Veridia Alesci)
  374. [19:26:17] Erika would move on to the next box. For now ignoring the gold. Charlie could handle it while she went through the boxes. Most likely going through each of them to find something good in there. Of course, the one she was in the middle of opening now, would have nothing useful in it. Well, not useful to her at the very least.
  375.
  376. With Charlie coming back into the room, she would look off behind her to speak to the girl.
  377.
  378. "Yep. Pretty smart of them. Bad for us. But, it looks like some of them have stuff, some dont. If you handle the gold, I'll go through as many of these as I can."
  379.
  380. With that, she would move on to the next box. In hopes that this time, it would have something useful inside.
  381. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  382. [19:26:17] Hauk Fildegarde: (whilist you narrate, i shall type.)
  383. [19:27:08] Spooky Ghost: (Erika, roll for another box
  384. [19:27:08] Spooky Ghost: (Might as well speed it up
  385. [19:28:00] Erika Giachetta Alesci: (Wonder whats behind box number 6..?)
  386. [19:28:00] Hauk Fildegarde: (SURVEY SAYS)
  387. {NARRATION} The next lockbox is opened and inside is a heavily cushioned package, all velvet and silk and all of that kind of fanciness. Inside is a crystal flask that seems to contain some kind of liquid. It all looks very fragile. It could be anything really but it certainly seemed valuable enough to take.
  388. [19:30:33] Spooky Ghost: (This one is a phyical item to put in your inentory but I'll sort that out at the end
  389. [19:31:24] Erika Giachetta Alesci: (Ok0
  390. [19:35:40] What could be described as a very, very serene grin spread across his face, as he shoved a hand into a pocket-And moved out of sight of the window where 'Black' was holed! He'd quickly hide from their sight... And start moving his hands.
  391.
  392. It was a beautiful sign language that the military of Nostvale knew. Elaborate gestures, fingers twisting and hands arrayed oddly. To describe it would be damned-near impossible... Such a beautiful thing.
  393.
  394. And he was very, very fluent in it.
  395.
  396. To translate, it was essentially... "Hold. Ready weapons. Prepare to strike. We're done working with terrorists." A pause, and he speaks aloud-Of course, none of this is audible to the criminal scum hiding in the building! "Someone call for the king and-or the queen. I want them at least aware of this affair, and I'd rather it be sooner than later."
  397.
  398. The megaphone is raised, one more time.
  399.
  400. "Give us the two hostages, man. This isn't worth whatever it is you're really after."
  401. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  402. [19:47:37] No trolley, perfect. By hand it was. With her natural strength she could lift around two under each arm, considering she remained superhuman to an extent with her body toned by her entire life as a magi. Still, it'd be hard to proceed to fill the bags. The process for the first one would be rather quick as she indulged in grabbing the nearest ones for short travels. But eventually it'd get harder.
  403.
  404. The first duffelbag would be quickly nearly full as an item emerged from the next box the Alesci opened. Charlie would blink upon noticing it as she kept an eye on the loot gathered at this point.
  405.
  406. "... Keep it. I could find some use in it."
  407.
  408. She'd inform before the vile echoes of Hauk's voice would hit Charlie's eardrums. He was being adamant to Onkolithos' push. Very well. A small pause was made from the gold gathering as she'd be quick to grab something from her bag before approaching a hostage.
  409.
  410. "I'm borrowing this, Red."
  411.
  412. Without hesitation, the healthy male customer to the bank would be pulled upwards before being dragged toward the door. The item she had nabbed from her bag would be glued to the man's abdomen, under his shirt. It was a sticky bomb, one of the many she had prepared to bust through obstacles. The shirt would then cover it.
  413.
  414. "You're going to march up there and stop half way to the man. Don't move no matter what. Disobey and ... Well, you know. Make sure you show him my little gift to you."
  415.
  416. She smirked behind her mask before gesturing Onkolithos to release both him and the second hostage. As they would march out, the man in question would halt and slowly reveal what was hidden behind his shirt. The bomb would be glued to a point where ripping it out would shred his flesh and possibly cause a reaction from the rune on the bomb. They had a little disarming to do.
  417.
  418. The message was clear. Attempt anything and they'd be willing to bomb everyone here.
  419.
  420. Now she could resume her gold gathering, a little wave given to Veridia in the process. The detonator was tossed toward Onkolithos. He knew what to do if the orders were disobeyed.
  421. (Charlie Avaline)
  422. [19:59:34] Charlie would have came over and took one of the hostages Veridia was terrifying. She said that she was only borrowing the hostage, but she felt that wasn't the case. She'd took her eyes off the hostage under her to watch charlie send one out. She was alittle confused, but didn't think much of it. Instead, she'd took notice to the wave. Was that it? What that her que? Veridia was confused.
  423.
  424. It is, It is! Break the arm! The voice cheering her on. Since she wasn't told other wise, she didn't have much of the mind not to. To the hostage's arm, a withering effect of time magic would have been applied. She'd fractured it earlier, leaving the hostage in pain. But now it was time to obliterate the bone of the arm, and finish the job. She would have risen her foot.
  425.
  426. Than slammed her foot down onto the hostage's arm. The sound of bones cracking should have been loud enough to fill the room. And than she would have moved her hand to the hostages mouth to let them scream out in pain. And they did, loud enough for Hauk to hear outside. But Veridia would have had a frown under her mask. She would turned the screeching hostage's head to her and looked intently at them. Louder. The voice said.
  427.
  428. "Louder..." She'd say into the hostage's ear. Their scream wasn't loud enough. Not loud enough to show others how much fun they were having. And it was some THRILLING fun they were having. And so it was a little offending to her.
  429.
  430. She would have started to play with the hostage's broken arm, putting them in even more pain. She was torturing the poor hostage, and without even much as a second thought it seemed. She even sounded like she was laughing, though it would go unseen because of the mask.
  431.
  432. While torturing the hostage, she would have had intent to make sure they got louder. Which made it much more clear to Hauk what was going inside. Some real THRILLING stuff. But soon, Veridia left the hostage to scream to their heart content in pain. And she to turn her sights on others. Someone would be easily be able to turn they were next. The hostages were even able to tell.
  433.
  434. And they were shaking! She was smiling!
  435. (Veridia Alesci)
  436. [19:59:34] Veridia Alesci: (Veridia ruined things confirmed?)
  437. [19:59:34] Hauk Fildegarde: (one response friend)
  438. [19:59:34] Erika would slip the key into the next box. Opening it up, she would see something... A vial with some kind of liquid. Though, nothing she recognized right now. Maybe it was something she knew, maybe it wasn't. But, she didn't really have the time to examine it. Slipping it into her pocket, she would move onto the next box.
  439.
  440. Slipping the key in, this time into a different box, she would peer inside in the hopes that their was again something valuable inside. Though, whether there was or not, there were still more boxes to open.
  441. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  442. [20:02:08] Onkolithos moves aside, letting the hostage become a possible walking bomb for Hauk to receive. Rather than break character and risk everything, the Rosengard begrudgingly goes along with it. Moving aside to let Charlie do as she wills. "So uhh... Did we get everything or what?" An honest question asked as Onkolithos whispers in particular towards Charlie.
  443. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  444. [20:20:54] His brow furrowed deeply as he locked eyes on the bomb on this innocent man's chest. This was sick. Disgusting. Cruel. It was lower than even Alteros. Was this how they thought they'd change things? Annoy people? By being worse than their opponent?
  445.
  446. Sickening. And that sense of rising fury got even worse as he heard that scream. This wasn't a robbery anymore... This was active terrorism. Astoria's going to be pissed.. Or amused. Probably pissed.
  447.
  448. Sign language once again would fly out. He was using evasive manuevers now.. Plan A was to storm the building and just rip and tear, breach and clear. Cosmic flashbangs would disorient... And a cleaver would stop any and all resistance, hopefully.
  449.
  450. But no. This complicated things-And sent Hauk into a mood that was certain to give him grey hairs in a few years. Soon he'd finish gesturing wildly, and his orders would be quickly done;
  451.
  452. The wall started to disperse ever so slightly. Soldiers rushing now, all over the city, clamboring up walls and onto rooftops. Alleys had men staffed in them. Sewer entrances were blocked, and nearly every gods-damned exit was covered. The perimeter widened, and the wall seemingly halfed its strength-And indeed, it moved back a solid ten-twenty paces.
  453.
  454. This was plan B. Time to get serious.
  455.
  456. A hand points to a heavily armored gentleman, a veritable bulldozer of a man and orders are whispered. "You. With me, if and when this goes down. Get ready-They could do something stupid any second." And so he watches the windows, staring hard at these brutes who would harm innocents.
  457.
  458. Oh, and a wide berth is given to the hostage with a fucking bomb on their chest, for now.
  459. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  460. {NARRATION} Being in the vault for any extended periods of time was a bad idea, it would turn out. And as Charlie re entered the room the curse that had been being powered by the mana being absorbed from Erika as she roamed the room activated. It hit the two women square on and changed up their mental processes. As they looked at each other, the spoils that they would have taken took on a greater charm. Charlie would want the crystal flask with all of her soul and Erika would kill people for the gold Charlie was carrying. They were cursed with incredible greed. I suppose that's what happens when you spend so long trying to grab as much as you could in one go. (This is a temporary mental effect, it can lead to hostilities if you wish it to but I realise this has been going on for a while so you may skip such things and instead just steal what the other is carrying and try to run off with it.)
  461. [20:32:51] Hopefully Onko could keep things under control un- ... And then came the screams. Veridia must've thought the a-ok was given. Charlie cursed under her breath as she knew this was her fault. Not being clear with the little psycho was bound to lead to misunderstandings.
  462.
  463. "Red! ... Stop the screaming!"
  464.
  465. She ordered. A bit annoyed at Veridia, though if sobs would follow, she'd be quick to apologize. Nonetheless, there was a mission to focus on. The gold, she needed to gather the gold at once as it was their prime objective. Though, as she'd step into the vault, she could feel it ... The Avaline felt possessed by something. And then, mesmerized. The flask Erika had taken.
  466.
  467. Her optics would stare directly toward Erika as the load of gold would be dropped. The task was being put on hold for a massive craving. The fluid in that flask, she wanted it. It seemed not only appropriate for an alchemis to handle such peculiar things but there was also this irrational belief that it was a rare and essentially solution she could use to perform a new breakthrough in her research.
  468.
  469. It had nothing to do in the hands of some wannabe queen.
  470.
  471. "Erika. That flask. Give it to me, now."
  472.
  473. A lot of hostility for no reason, but the fireweapon she wielded would be clenched, displaying a true tendency toward belligerence.
  474. (Charlie Avaline)
  475. [20:40:32] Charlie would have said stop the screaming. Veridia would have heard it as stop the fun. She would hav sighed under her mask and looked back to the first hostage. Still screaming in pain at they're heart's content. She would have walked back over and looked down at the hostage. Veridia wanted to cry because she wanted to have more fun.
  476.
  477. But if Charlie said so. She would have forces the hostage's mouth closed than covered it. The man would have looked up to her worried about what she might too to him next. "Yeah... I know... It's sad that we can't have anymore fun... But we might have little more." She'd dragged her eyes over to the man's other arm. It still had to br broken. And she smiled again.
  478.
  479. "Soon..." The hostage would have started to cry.
  480. (Veridia Alesci)
  481. [20:43:05] Onkolithos kept his eyes upon Hauk, noticing that the man was peeing in through the window. The Rosenhard waves ack to Hauk, moving away to go check upon on the situation regarding Charlie and Erika. Hopefully, they were devising an escape route, nstead of hoarding all the gold.
  482.
  483. "Hello! Guys! We're runnin' out o time here!" The Rosengard doesn't bother fully entering the large contraption, content with stay outside as i seem the tw were ready to brawl. "Oh geez I gues I should sdo something..." The Rosengard carefully pulls out some type of image cpturing device, probably a camera to high light the cat fight.
  484. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  485. [20:51:37] Erika would go to unlock the next box, but, before she could do so, she would become overwhelmed by something... A desire... of some sorts. it would be almost overwhelming. And then she would hear it. The bag dropping, and the gold clinking together. The sound would be perfect. Right now, it would even seem like... it was as if she could smell the gold.
  486.
  487. But, the person guarding it. Charlie. The person who had it. It was doubtful that she would just let it go without a fight. And the way she effortlessly knocked about doors and the like... especially without her magic, it was unlikely that she would actually have any chance of beating her. But, another idea would come across her. A way that, she could possibly make it out of here with at least some of the gold, and perhaps, even with the assistance of the guards themselves.
  488.
  489. Erika would rip off her mask. And then hold the Flask out for Charlie to see. Holding it, letting the light in the vault dance through it. It would seem, at least somewhat beautiful. And certainly, incite her desires even more.
  490.
  491. "If you want the flask, then why don't you come over here and take it? I'm sure you can't. After all, like you said. I can't be controlled. In fact, I'm absolutely certain that your still pretty upset with me, over that stunt right? Why not let that out? Right here, right now, hm? I dare you to."
  492.
  493. A cocky, almost infuriating grin would cross Erika's face as she spoke.
  494.
  495. "Unless, you wanna give me the gold that is."
  496. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  497. [20:53:20]
  498. [20:55:02] Hauk Fildegarde: <*Tensely watches for any movement, glaring at where 'Black' was standing moments ago!!*>
  499. [20:55:53] Veridia Alesci: <*talking to a terrified hostage about irrelevant things*>
  500. [20:55:53] Charlie Avaline: <*Took a step backwards, was now out of the vault and firearm pointed at her*> Or you give it to me and no one gets hurt.
  501. [20:57:36] Erika Giachetta Alesci: <*just keeps grinning*> And when the shots go off? Whats to keep them from storming? onder how the presses will run that. Local alchemist shoots Antegrian lords Fiance. No, certainly no attention there,
  502. [20:58:27] Onkolithos Rosengard: LADIES.
  503. [20:58:27] Onkolithos Rosengard: GUARDS OUTSIDE.
  504. [20:58:27] Onkolithos Rosengard: LETTTTSSSSSS ROLL.
  505. [20:58:27] Charlie Avaline: Antegrian slut caught robbing close ally's bank. Husband suspected of treason. Unfortunately the lady was found dead before she could be interrogated.
  506. [20:58:27] Hauk Fildegarde: ...I have the faintest sense that there is something /hilarious/ going on.
  507. [20:59:18] Erika Giachetta Alesci: Your fooling yourself if you think that's how it will go down.
  508. [20:59:18] Charlie Avaline: Wanna bet? <*Cocks rifle*>
  509. [20:59:18] Erika Giachetta Alesci: Who would they believe? The lord, or the bank robbers?
  510. [20:59:18] Onkolithos Rosengard: No...
  511. [20:59:18] Onkolithos Rosengard: NNNNNnnnnooo Ladies...
  512. [21:00:09] Onkolithos Rosengard: It's time to bet on how we're going to ESCAPE.
  513. [21:00:09] Charlie Avaline: Then get her to give me the flask and THEN we'll go.
  514. [21:00:09] Erika Giachetta Alesci: Tell her to give me the gold.
  515. [21:00:09] Hauk Fildegarde: ... <*Leans to a knight of the legion...*> See if you can spot those jackasses ithrough the windows. Get me a fucking visual.
  516. [21:01:00] Onkolithos Rosengard: Why not just play rock paper scissors or something... Maybe coinflip...
  517. [21:01:00] Hauk Fildegarde: And /someone/ bring me my fucking cleaver.
  518. [21:01:52] Charlie Avaline: ... Pack the gold into the bags then.
  519. [21:01:52] Charlie Avaline: Now.
  520. [21:01:52] Onkolithos Rosengard: Did- Were you two even doin' any of the packin-
  521. [21:01:52] Onkolithos Rosengard: Whatever, I'm on it.
  522. [21:01:52] Charlie Avaline: You too, Erika.
  523. [21:01:52] Charlie Avaline: If you want the gold so bad.
  524. [21:01:52] Charlie Avaline: PACK IT.
  525. [21:02:43] Onkolithos Rosengard: Don't stand off for so long ya both forget we need to LEEEEEAVE.
  526. [21:02:43] Erika Giachetta Alesci: I'll be keeping the flask until the golds done then. Surely, you don't mind.
  527. [21:02:43] Charlie Avaline: No, give it to me and I promise to let you pack the gold.
  528. [21:02:43] Onkolithos Rosengard: Are you two NUTS?!
  529. [21:03:34] Erika Giachetta Alesci: Oh? And how do I know you'd keep up your end?
  530. [21:04:25] Charlie Avaline: Well I can't carry more than one bag, so you'll at least have some gold.
  531. {NARRATION} The runes responsible for the curse begin to charge again now that Onkolithos is in the room.
  532. [21:05:16] Veridia Alesci: <*has forced a hostage to play patty cake.*>
  533. [21:06:08] Charlie Avaline: Flask, now. And you get to hoard that gold.
  534. [21:06:59] Erika Giachetta Alesci: You know. Fine.
  535. [21:06:59] Erika Giachetta Alesci: <*holds the flask out*>
  536. [21:06:59] Hauk Fildegarde: Fuck you mean we have no visual? Where the hell are they?!
  537. [21:07:50] Charlie Avaline: Toss it. <*Sees it looks quite fragile*> Actually, no.
  538. [21:07:50] Charlie Avaline: <*Slowly walked over to nab it*>
  539. [21:08:41] Erika Giachetta Alesci: <*Drops it. Seemingly to the ground, though it would land on the edge of charlies hand*>
  540. [21:08:41] Onkolithos looks around, gathering up what gold he could find and placing it into the bag. The two of them were far too busy arguing over items, loot that could be settled with in another time. The Rosengard was only here to help with robbing the bank, minding his own business. Soon, the wave of greed hit him too, knowing that there was only one way to solve this equation.
  541.
  542. "THREE. TWO. ONE." Onkolithos chants, filling up the last bag and kicking it out of the vault, "WE ALL FIGHT FOR THE STUFF! Good idea? Good idea." Onkolithos seems ready to start trouble, up until a resolution reaches itself, But Mister Black had gone on without violence long enough. Rather than duke it out with either of them, the Rosengard hoards the gold in his possession like a dragon. Thankfully, he's been eating his veggies and drinking his senju mlik. It was time to leave, and he was going well on his way.
  543.
  544. Even if Erika and Charlie were in the process of resolving the situation.
  545. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  546. [21:09:32] Charlie Avaline: <*Manages to catch it, clumsily, but she did it. Stored it in the bag with other fragile shit to avoid catastrophe*>
  547. {NARRATION} You manage to fill three bags full of gold. Everyone who is carrying a bag will be feeling much more sluggish than usual. (Half your Agility for every bag you are carrying, eg two bags quarters your agi)
  548. {NARRATION} Inside the strongbox is a parcel of semi rare herbs. Thei uses vary wildly but they are all useful in some way. (Basically a mashup of various alchemy ingredients to use in any possible potion dev)
  549. [21:18:04] With that resolved, Erika would immediately dash over to the gold, and begin packing it into the bag. Each bar making it heavier and heavier, until, even in this greed addled state, even she knew she wouldn't be able to take all of it. Lifting it up, she would place the bag onto her shoulder, and follow after Onkolithos. Though, for the moment she wouldn't know where the escape was.
  550.
  551. Staying away from windows and door frames, she would make her way through until she reached Veridia, playing a game with one of the hostages. Since, it seemed she was doing pretty well there. She would set herself down, and wait for Charlie to finish whatever she was doing. Since, she had the plans to escape, after all.
  552. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  553. [21:22:20] With the weird liquid acquired and the gold task passed to Erika out of her own desire, it seemed this greed issue was settled. Now, Charlie was curious to see what else the boxes held, while the other two handled the gold. A key would be nabbed and would open one of the boxes, revealing a set of herbs. They were particularly rare ones, the type that required an expedition to find. Good enough, she could use them for higher level research.
  554.
  555. The products would be stored away in the same container designed to hold the flashs, though they would be in preserving boxes. Now it was time to see what they could do with all of this. And this is where she noticed that they only had three bags of gold filled out of four.
  556.
  557. "... We're missing a bag."
  558.
  559. She raised an eyebrow, though the greed didn't strike her for them. The Avaline was thinking out of reason and the mission was to stockpile cash. A facepalm would be done.
  560.
  561. "Veridia ... Could you please gather the gold for the last bag? Please?"
  562.
  563. She inquired, since Veridia was likely the most competent to perform this kind of labour as the rest gathered with the hostages.
  564.
  565. "We're not leaving just yet. There's no way they're plowing in with a bomb hostage and ten more in reserves."
  566.
  567. She argued.
  568. (Charlie Avaline)
  569. [21:30:52] She was doing just fine, being in the middle of a heist really. She was playing a nice game of patty cake. And the game actually manage to calm down alot of the hostages. They were still pretty scared to do anything ballsy, but still. And this wasn't even her intention either. She was just bored, and felt like she would get yelled at if she decide to have anymore REAL fun with them.
  570.
  571. Veridia would have heard her voice being called. She'd looked towards Charlie as she made the demand for her to gather gold in the last bag. "'Kay." She would have gotten up and patted the hostage she was playing with on th head. "That was fun."
  572.
  573. Than she headed towards the Charlie, who was in the vault. She'd pick up the last bad and started filling it up as she was told. It didn't take her long, despite her being unable to use her magic, she was rather active for someone whose diet consisted of cookies.
  574.
  575. Once she was done, regardless how long it actually took, she went over to the side of Charlie and looked at her alittle confused. Though the confusion on her face went unseen because of the face.
  576.
  577. So she had to get verbal. "What do I do now?"
  578. (Veridia Alesci)
  579. [21:31:44] Veridia Alesci: (Mask*)
  580. [21:35:08] Hrm. This was turning out to be such a headache for everyone, especially Hauk. These stupid, stupid people ruining a fine day. And here was this man, alone, afraid. Looking terrified at Hauk and his men, a gods-be-damned bomb on his chest. Put there by cruel and unusual nightmares of human beings. It was, truly, disgusting to him. Innocents were a no-touchie. Not unless he was... Feeling odd. But the girl from earlier, she didn't count! She was mostly willing.
  581.
  582. Focus. His mind had hatched an idea admist the stress and quiet fury, and it would require delicate use of... Everything. He just needed to remember. Remember
  583. his training, his telekinesis. He needed to remember that if he made a slip-up this civilian was dead. A stain on his name. A failure. A mistake that would
  584. haunt him every time he slept, no doubt. How could a murderer call himself perfect?
  585.
  586. So tools slowly float out wrapped in the invisible and iron grip of his magic, hidden behind him and drawing ever nearer to the hostage. Just needed to be calm. Delicate. Careful. Gentle. Like cradling little Arcadia...
  587.
  588. "Just stay calm and don't move. Do not let them see what I'm doing. If they see this, you are going to die. It'll all be okay." He'd call out, quiet enough that people in the accursed vault will not hear.
  589.
  590. The tools begin their work, and the world holds its breath.
  591. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  592. {NARRATION} After slow and painful work, the bomb went click and appeared to be disarmed. Appearances can be deceiving however. The bomb was disarmed but the other rune was activated, spraying acid all over the Hostage's face and torso. Obviously the man would began to thrash about and scream in pain as he scrambles at his own melting features. He ran back into the bank and the acid continued to spray, coating everything in the near vicinity and disarming the bomb hidden above the door. There were no longer any immediate threats between the guard and the robbers. They still had other hostages but what good would they do with all this heavy gold weighing them down. About now would be a good time to leave. (Make sure that you've powered down your agi and then do a /flee and pray to the roll gods.)
  593. [21:58:11] "FUCK!"
  594.
  595. Acid sprayed the man. He was dying. No, no, nonononono-No! With those wounds he'd need immediate medical attention... But perhaps he'd live? Right now his mind was frayed, the only sensible thing flying from the mess of thoughts being a single word.
  596.
  597. "CHARGE!"
  598.
  599. A rather large majority of the Viridian Legion stormed a bank. And Hauk Fildegarde would storm with it, floating above the masses, his cleaver in hand-Intent on retribution. Twelve out of thirteen was unacceptable. Sareen was watching. The world was watching. This wasn't perfection.
  600.
  601. But it could be.
  602.
  603. A hunting Hawk takes flight, its path to them clear. "GET THOSE FUCKING IDIOTS! I WANT THEM ON THEIR KNEES! AND SOMEONE GET THE ACID OFF HIM, NOW!" And with that he zooms forward, through chaos and charging bodies of guardsmen high on the taste of blood finally being given, intent on chasing.
  604. (Hauk Fildegarde)
  605. [22:07:34] This was truly unexpected. Had they really hasted the process to much that they failed to handle a simple acid bomb rune? If they had waited for an expert, there'd be no casualities, that was the plan. But it seemed that'd be giving them too much leeway, and Charlie wasn't exactly prepared for this. The man was covered and acid and even destroyed the bomb she had planted to ambush a sudden attack.
  606.
  607. They had to escape, this wasn't good and an all out assault was inevitable. Turning her head to each side, Charlie noticed the windows to the sides near the reception. Their escape. In her bag there'd be enough bombs to probably make a strong enough distraction for a clean escape.
  608.
  609. "Window. After me."
  610.
  611. She told her squad. Just as the Hauk squad would start their assault and barge in, they'd be welcomed with a miasma of smoke from a smoke bomb Charlie had tossed. The odor was foul and the smoke was thick. Luckily the squad knew where they were going and an escape by the window wasn't all too difficult to do.
  612.
  613. Once out, the guards would inevitably catch them. The nearest could easily be handled by the muscle of the gang while Charlie would simply throw one of her C4's up one of the buildings next to the bank. Another commercial-type as it was the particular characteristic of this street. It'd be quick to blow up, spreading debris and flames all over.
  614.
  615. It'd only be a matter of seconds before civilians would flock all over and overwhelm the authority figures. This was their opportunity to disappear in alleyways among the chaos and hastily find their caravan parked.
  616. (Charlie Avaline)
  617. [22:14:24] Veridia would have played one last game with one of the hostages before it was time to go. She would have gotten up and looked to Charlie. Waiting for her to do something. Since Veridia wouldn't even know where to start. But than Charlie gave a hint to what she planned.
  618.
  619. The window. Her eyes quickly went towards the window. All she had to do was wait for a few moments. People came rushing into the bank, but soon smoke filled the room. It smelt terrible but luckily, she knew where to go. Atleast she think she did.
  620.
  621. She'd make way for the window. When she got close enough, Veridia would have throw herself into the air and out the window, like a large baseball. She'd landed and tumbled on the ground once she was outside. But quickly recovered and tried her best to keep up with Charlie. Though the bag was a real burden when she was trying to keep up. Even with her magic. She'd start pushing her way through the wild crowds until she found herself at the Caravan with Charlie.
  622.
  623. The great escape.
  624. (Veridia Alesci)
  625. [22:17:48] Erika would hop through the window after charlie. The smoke bombs, and the explosion that Charlie had set up making certain that the group would slip away entirely unnoticed. Really, it was kind of funny. How it had all went down. Really, the set backs, the fight with charlie. Really, she had no idea why she had done all that. But it didn't really matter.
  626.
  627. Hitting the ground running, she would follow behind the rest of the group to wherever they were headed. Probably back to the caravan. Regardless, the gold would probably fetch an incredibly high price. And, the orichalcum. That would be useful. It was the final piece she needed. No doubt Lathos could turn it into exactly what she needed it for. Though, she certainly wouldn't be telling him how she got it.
  628. (Erika Giachetta Alesci)
  629. [22:23:47] Onkolithos knocks over a plant, then several chairs. He was determined to make sure that they didn't follow after them, even if they could merely walk around theobstacles placed. Once Charlie blows up a hole, Onkolithos grasb a chair, tossing it at the guards to sitr aup a riot.
  630.
  631. Soon after, he backlips out the hole, a feat worth doing once in his young life. It wasn't every day one robbed a bank, throws chairs at guards before backflipping out of the hole made by their head honcho.
  632. (Onkolithos Rosengard)
  633. {NARRATION} The four manage to escape from the bank relatively safety. The streets shattered around them from the explosions but they do manage to successfully cover their escape. The interior of the bank has little clues left for Hauk. Though, there is one major clue at least. A piece of paper with an address to a local tavern and the name Matthew written above it. A clue, oh joy. (The party manages to escape with their loot. Each person has managed to take ten million crowns worth of gold. Charlie has taken some herbs and the strange liquid which is a high yield explosive by the way. Erika has taken a bar of Orichalcum. And Onkolithos and Veridia are left rather empty handed, besides all the gold that is.)
