  1. (Note: these are not in any particular order, just a stream of consciousness)
  2.
  3.
  4. 1) Koishi Komeiji - Touhou
  5.
  6. Now, this was a hard franchise to actually narrow down, since I'm pretty sure I could've listed literally anybody here and Froy would be at least slightly on board, but I chose Koishi for a few reasons. For starters, Koishi was the first Touhou character I ever really learned anything about, and was what got me interested in the fighters, so I have a bit of attachment to her. Beyond that connection, Koishi is a weird character even for Touhou, especially in the fighting games, with her subconsciousness gimmicks, so I think she could definitely have a lot of fun stuff in an MYM kit. Utsuho was a really great translation of the character to the medium of Smash, communicating her personality and immense strength beautifully, so I'm confident that a Froy Koishi set would also represent her well. If I'm honest, the biggest draw to this would be seeing Froy cut loose and play with an unabashedly WEIRD character who has bizarre traits and mechanics associated with her.

  9. 2) Fairy Leviathan - Megaman Zero
  10.
  11. This was another tricky series to narrow down, but despite not being 100% sure, I feel like Leviathan is a very "Froy" character, and I wouldn't at all be surprised if she was one he actively liked. Admittedly I don't have a ton of familiarity with the character since I only played MMZ4, but what I do know tells me she'd be a cool one to see tackled.
  12.
  13.
  14. 3) Undyne - Toby Fox: The Game
  15.
  16. This might seem like a weird pick, but I have a very simple explanation. When it comes to over-the-top anime shenanigans, I think of Froy, Jamie, and Kat. Undyne already has potential with her fights, but what I really want to see is one that plays up her extremely boisterous, anime-inspired-in-universe persona. I wanna see a set with Undyne unironically channeling the spirit of the I HAVE THE POWER OF GOD AND ANIME vine, and I can think of few people more qualified to produce that.
  17.
  18.
  19. 4) Bad Girl - No More Heroes
  20.
  21. Now, at first, I had Shinobu Jacobs in this slot, but upon further thinking, I came up with dramatically different angle. Being one of the more iconic bosses, and getting promoted to a playable slot in Travis Strikes Again, Bad Girl definitely has the potential for a set, and she feels strikingly different from what I usually think of from Froy sets. NMH is a series I haven't played, but I appreciate a lot of the character designs, and definitely want to see it repped more in MYM. It's a definite wellspring of potential, and I'd love to see you tap into it.
  22.
  23.
  24. 5) Madame Meeber - Shovel Knight
  25.
  26. Okay this is an incredibly galaxy brain pick, but hear me out before you stone me to death. Thanks to the Touhou and magical girl associations, I tend to mentally link Froy with cutesy characters, especially those linked to magic and/or fairies. Shovel Knight has one character to fit this bill, and she's not even a boss or anything; she's just a Nintendo-exclusive NPC! But here's my logic behind specifically picking her: in the last expansion, Meeber gets a scene wherein she's associated with small fairies of every single major character in the game, and that imagery inexplicably stuck with me. I envision a truly galaxy brain set that makes use of these fairies in a more lighthearted, goofy sort of set that would be really fun to see from you, Froy. Is this a mean pick? Maybe.
  27.
  28.
  29. 6) Any Super Crown OC - Mario
  30.
  31. listen i do not want to be the only person in mym history to make an -ette set
  32.
  33.
  34. 7) The Huntress - Risk of Rain
  35.
  36. Though I'm not as into the original as I am the sequel, I'm pretty fond of RoR as a series, and I'm glad to see I'm not alone! I wasn't entirely sure who to pick here, but I feel like Huntress is a pretty safe bet, seeing as she strikes me as a Froy character, being very mobile and having a functional, but pretty stylish kit. I personally wouldn't mind us getting Risk of Rain on the franchise set someday, so you could say this pick has an ulterior motive :amenosquint:
  37.
  38.
  39. 8) Jet - Lethal League Blaze
  40.
  41. I was close to picking Sonata for this, but I absolutely have to go with the Jet Set Radio tribute instead. Jet is a really fun character in terms of design, personality, and abilities; not quite a "favorite" for me, but definitely one of the cooler LL characters. Lethal League is another series I wanna see more of in MYM, and I'm confident you could pull Jet off well, Froy.
  42.
  43.
  44. 9) Jack Spicer - Xiaolin Showdown
  45.
  46. How the actual fuck have we not had a modern set for Jack yet???? He's a really great villain from a series I have fond memories of, and Nox/Quilby proved you can do a ton of good work with animated series villains. Jack has so much potential it's not even funny, and I would love to see him get an updated set. Seriously, the current one was from MYM8 for god's sake
  47.
  48.
  49. 10) Sisters of Battle - Hollow Knight
  50.
  51. Now I was gonna put Hornet here, but I think that's too obvious. No, rather than the badass heroine, I'm choosing to prop up the badass warrior mantis queens, because they're a fantastically memorable boss. Since there's three of them with identical kits, you can do a lot of fun out of making them a trio set, with a "high execution, high reward" theme feeling really fitting and cool. Probably one of the weirder picks here, but I'm confident you could pull them off.
