- Down you descend into the depths of the fortress and Skaia itself, following the inclined elevator shaft as far as it leads. The walls of the descending tunnel, lined with dimming or broken light fixtures, incorporate the violet hues of the malevolent moon's gothic architecture with plates of black carapace, blending together the further you travel until at the tunnel's end, the two are practically indistinguishable from each other in their homogenization.
- You arrive at an armored, reinforced entrance to a high-security compound, replete with weapons emplacements and covered firing positions, none of which are manned as miscellaneous weapons and equipment lay strewn across the floor at the opposite end of the entrance chamber where the lift would stop. There are signs of a brief struggle to be seen throughout the entrance, with marks across the walls, floors, and emplacements suggesting the soldiers were forcibly removed from their placements and struggled against this. A breeze flows past your cheek and up the shaft and you're given an idea of what happened; as the fortress in its mountainous shell was upturned during the storm of ascension, the air from above and below chased after each other in the sudden clash of differential pressure, carrying the soldiers with them.

- Entering the compound, you find yourself in a central connecting room lined with carapace-armored doors, some firmly shut, others thrown off their frames, while most hang off a few remaining hinges. Deactivated or otherwise shattered computer terminals are arranged at the center of the room, encompassed within a ring of counters and desks. The breeze continues to softly blow past your cheek, pointing your gaze toward a specific door in the corner of the room.
- As you head toward and through the door into a long, wide hallway, a voice rings scratchily out through the facility's damaged speaker system,
- "You've been a real work of absolute bitch to deal with. I ain't putting up with you or your bullshit anymore, now it's come to this."
- The hallway soon leads into another connecting room, this time with just one door opposite its entrance. It appears to be an office space of sorts, littered with scattered notes and documents dotted with belligerent scribbles and remarks about anything from shitty dress-codes and incompetent superiors and subordinates to, namely, all manner of insults and derision against you and all the trouble you keep making. A space opposite the piles of scribbled papers is noticeably empty, with outlines on the floor suggesting the placement of walls of some kind.
- "This whole situation is a crock of shit, but if anything, I'm gonna have fun cutting you and that dumb fucking outfit to shreds."
- The door out of the room is unlocked, and through it you walk into an immense chamber lined with dozens of large carapace-gothic pillars in every direction, with space made for walkways leading toward a central clearing with a structure at its center. Lights are installed in the walkways, central area, and the pillars adjacent to both, while dim floor lights barely illuminate the spaces between the rest of the pillars supporting the chamber.
- "I ain't taking no chances, either."
- Heading into the clearing, you're accosted by a pair of Burlap and Foam Lich queens with Jack nowhere to be seen just yet.

- Among these pieces strewn about the place are two of noteworthy mention; a frozen pocket with a playing card sticking out from the top that falls and slides across the floor toward the center structure and Jack's hand, his middle finger outstretched. His bedazzorbed body then explodes in a ball of flaming ash, leaving nothing else behind.
