December 29, 1986 - Dynamite

The biggest story of this past week has been concerning the conditinn of the Dynamite Kid. As we raported last week, Dynamite collapsed due to a severe back injury during a match in Hamilton, Ont. on 12/13. The injury lofti.Dynamite paralyzed from the walst down during the early part of this past week, although he has regained anme feeling and movement on his right side. Dynamite was flown this past Sunday to his home town of Calgary and on Friday (12/19) underwent disc surgery. He basically had the same operation that Joe Montana had. Accnrding to hospital nfficials, Dynamite had gevere spinal diac and sciatic nerva damage. Doctors have told him that he shouldn't return to wrestling. but nur expectations are that he will return. It will, however, be several anthe before he'll have any possibility of returning
