My jacket is on a hanger in the closet.
I don't have a closet, so I bought a wardrobe for my jackets.

The blanket is hanging on a rack. Normally it goes between the top sheet and a quilt or comforter on the bed.

Carpet is usually wall-to-wall, included when you move in. A rug is a smaller one that you can take with you to a new house.

There are five drawers in the dresser.

There is a mirror over the dresser.

Next to the bed is a night table/nightstand/bedside table.

Write a detailed description of your bedroom (here, in your country, or in your imagination). Explain where everything is in relation to everything else.
(On Monday another student will try to draw a map of your room after reading your description.)

	If you're standing in the doorway of my room, the closet is to your left. In the closet I have my shirts and pants for work. Next to the closet is a shelf. Right now nothing is on the shelf. Behind the shelf I have many bags and boxes, because I recently moved my things into this room.
	On the wall across from the door there is one window. An air conditioner is in this window. There is a mirror to the right of the window and a dresser to the right of the mirror. The dresser has six drawers in it. On top of the dresser is a lamp.		Next to the dresser, on the right wall of my room, is my bed. There are three pillows and two blankets on my bed. Next to the bed I have a nightstand. It has my toothbrush and toothpaste and other things on it. Next to the nightstand is another lamp.
