» | background: baby ariel kim was born in chuncheon south korea along with her identical twin sister, nichole into a family of her mother and father. although ariel loved south korea (what isn't there to love tbh), her mother and father both agreed that they would much rather raise their daughters in the place where their grandmother lived, new york city. ariel, being very young at the age of four years old, moved along with her family to new york. you would think that growing up in new york would make you have thick skin but in ariel's that wasn't really the case in fact, she was the most sensitive little brat on planet earth. everything set her off and made her feel bad, and to make people stop being whatever it is she'd do aeygo to get her way out of it. besides living in south korea for a little while, and her often trips back, her childhood was pretty uninteresting. nothing monumental happened and her family stayed pretty calm and normal. if having an unstrict, relatively calm, and quite funny asian household is normal to you. how ariel came to be apart of the channel was really just some good luck and a few connections coming to good use. she had been a fan for a little while and commented constantly on their videos often while her channel was still growing in subscribers. one day out of boredom she decided to go on a walk (a rare occurrence sent ariel is most of the time a lazy piece of trash), and while on said walk she heard of a voice. the voice of one of the members from agh! they were at a cafe just chilling and as a fan, ariel approached them. they recognized her and about a year, and some friendships later, she became apart of the crew.

» | personality: in reality her personality is just that she's a bundle of crazy. to some people she can be described as quite the awkward pina colada who may have quite the subscriber count, but is really just socially awkward in real life and for the people that think that they're completely incorrect. ariel kim is in no way shape or form awkward socially in fact, she's an absolute annoyance. ariel is the type of girl to jump onto people to get their attention instead of just taping on their shoulder or something, ariel is also the type of girl to punch people in the face if they sneeze to close to her. when living in the big city ariel thinks that you must be outgoing and quite frankly an annoyance to get attention... but really ariel would get attention even if she lived in a small town because she would force everyone to pay attention to her. yes, even though she would never say it out loud, she is a little bit on an attention seeker but would kill the person who told her that she was. but besides her attention-seeking ways, ariel is an extreme pervert. like an extreme pervert. she's the first person to make the dick joke, or talk about how the person voicing cailou probably had boners all the time. it's in her nature and doesn't really care that it makes hella people uncomfortable. ariel is also the type of person to try and flirt with people but she can't. she just can't. and if she tries then she'll alway find herself tripping on her words, or just straight up tripping. that's what surprises most people about her most of the time; that she can't flirt, has never been in a relationship and refuses to admit if she's a virgin or not. ariel can find herself being a giant ball of misleading though. she looks like she'd be all sexy and even though she does talk about sexy stuff all the time, in no way shape or form is kim ariel sexy. she's just not. and will never be. she's not ladylike at all, can't flirt for shit, and lives by the term "i don't give flying, walking, running, jogging, flying, scootering, unicorn-riding fuck!' but damn can ariel hold her drinks. major heavy weight. you'd have to make her drink about four glasses of wine to even get her in the slightest way drunk. with that in mind (though she never drives) is the one calling the cabs for all her drunk friends. besides the drinking aspect though, at parties, the attention-seeker comes out and she becomes a walking, talking disco ball. she's the one dancing the most and even when she isn't on the dance floor she's the one still dancing. to keep it simple, she's the one that you should take for wine tasting rather than to actually go clubbing or something.
