This is for you. You know who you are. Some of you are men more are women. You see the world with great clarity but that clarity has come at a price. When those around you are in pain you are a healing force. You see the beauty within them. You see the mistaken steps that they have taken to lead them to the pain. You can show them the turns that get them home again. Your own life however is often in chaos. You never follow your own excellent advice. Love seems never to be for you. Even in your moment of greatest happiness you are always waiting for the other shoe to drop and in the darker parts of your mind you know that you usually make it happen. Because even as much as the pain rips and tears parts from you; it is familiar. It is why you subconsciously make doomed connections with people. Like the connection you are feeling for me now and do not doubt that I do not feel you out there too. Do not doubt that we could be in love within moments of speaking. Doomed love, that will put us on that familiar path. We say we will sometime find away out and we even trick ourselves into believing it. Then you look in the mirror like all times before; in disgust, at the pathetic nature of ourselves. If you read this and feel that tragic tug in your heart.
