- The party pursued Simeon towards the Viszudar, and spoke with Malthuzar. He accepted the duergar's role as quartermaster - a role he seemed all too enthusiastic to fill.
- During their discussion, they decided to task the duergar soldiers with guarding the Archo. Malthuzar seemed to find this to me a moderate and reasonable solution.
- The duergar combination weapon was given to Malthuzar to study.
- The party spoke with Jorubath, and enlisted his aid in assisting their potion production from his laboratory. Additionally, Simeon agreed to share the knowledge of duergar alchemical secrets with him.
- Emilia and Holow briefly adjourned to Rivenport to make purchases, including several cannons.
- Alasdair spoke at length to Malthuzar and Jucika. Malthuzar's agents uncovered a suggestion of Adriana Vatatzes's true identity and her ties to a conspiracy within Nemnowyn, tied to a figure named the Red Recluse. Evidently, this faction has delusional duskblood noblemen supporting it, and intends to overthrow the Nemnowyn government and install a Tel-Shanas state. It is possible Adriana's ambitions extend this far south in Yog.
- Jucika did not know of Adriana Vatatzes's Tel-Shanas identity. She was supporting her, her faction and coup, but now reconsiders her position, given the fact the foundation of their trust may have been a lie. She requires to verify this personally before proceeding, and will not simply take this on faith. Alasdair seemed up to the task. Jucika was fairly honest with him, once this was revealed.
- After resting, the party traveled back to the safehouse. It seems Dianna managed to recover the Ancient Jackal's Head, the Ashig ancestral heirloom of death during their time away. It was poorly guarded, and it seems as if it was treated as a treasure of glories lost to time rather than appreciated for the artifact it truly is.
- During their discussion with the Council of Creative Commerce, they learned the imperial seat is above the sinkhole. The Sinkhole is heavily guarded. The emperor is most likely guarded by elite guards and courtiers/nobles, some of whom might be spellcasters.
- Asterion shared a tender moment with Pan and all seemed resolved to see this to the end, whatever the consequences may be.
