- I started working at the Seaside Library when the library was looking for someone to perform puppet shows in their new theater. Since I had spent a few years at a puppet camp in Portland, I was given the wonderful job of writing these shows.
- I have written fifty shows, and I take inspiration from stories my grandmother used to tell me, such as “Lazy Jack”, about a boy who was too lazy to do anything right. In my writing, I make sure all of my stories contain a morale. In my favorite story Raccoon steals Bumblebee's hive, but he learns that stealing is bad and returns it. Afterward, he becomes friends with Bumblebee and lives happily ever after.
- My puppet shows are done during the weekly story hour, and there are many children who come just for my puppet shows. Whether there is one kid or thirty, I always perform a puppet show, and the kids always laugh. I have always been a good writer, but since I have started working I have noticed a significant improvement. I have even been featured in two different newspapers, who wanted to talk to the famous puppeteer of the Seaside Library.
