- Shadow Monarch The end of the world had popped up quite a few times- and each time it reared its ugly head, Caius found a way to profit off the panicked. Of course, that only lasts when everyone's scared! Red eyes narrowed straight down on the man lazing in the sun, marching up to him from her hiding spot. Such relaxation would not stand! She had terror to build! Without taking the moment to introduce herself, the monarch slipped her foot up against the side of his chair- kicking it over to push him down onto the ground, so she could gloat and stand over him with her hands on her armoured hips.
- Shadow Monarch How can you be so relaxed? It's the end times!
- Reven Reven seemed a tad locked in his own world, so he didn't even notice the impending threat of the large, armored woman until she found the nerve to strike his seating arrangements! Funnily enough, despite his very clean and ornate looking robes being somewhat ruined by the marks of grass and his hair being somewhat scrambled by his tumble downwards, Reven propped himself right up and offered his hand just like anyone else. "Well, I don't see much point in being so strict and uptight when it's the end times you know. Because if it's gonna end anyways you might as well have a little fun with it." The man began to pick out a few blades of grass from his hair, funnily enough standing just a hair taller than the monarch herself on his own two feet.
- Shadow Monarch The monarch stared down at his hand with disgust, brushing it away and rolling her eyes at him. "Shouldn't you be trying to stop it, or something similar?" She wouldn't have any knowledge of the current state of the conflict- but presumed that Reven looked so terminally chill and friendly that he couldn't POSSIBLY be anything other than a pure villain. The extra height was certainly noticed, too- making Caius quietly curse her current vessel, and resolve to put some heels on the boots of her armour. "Even if things WERE inevitable, sitting idle in the sun can't be the extent of your ambitions, boy. Is there nothing else you wish to do with your miserable time?"
- Reven The boy really didn't seem to have much of an issue at all with how condescending the little lady before him spoke. "Well, if it's the true end then there's no real reason to stop it. Besides, if it's fightable then people with more fervor then me'll probably get it handled. If they can't do anything I doubt I can really." The silver-haired boy simply got closer towards the armored tyrant and gave her plate a small bump with one of his lithe knuckles. Patting at the side of her face for a bit. "Well, I'd fancy getting a wife or two. Making a couple of kids. Beyond that, not much. I like to duel, but everyone has to kind of like to do that."
- Shadow Monarch Unreasonably furious at the fact someone wasn't scared out of their mind, Caius eventually abandoned the conversation with the fluffy stranger and headed right for the Manor that she was supposed to be meeting people in. Perhaps dark armour wasn't exactly the most fitting attire for a high-class "gentleman's club" (even with her new heeled armour-boots, courtesy of a Napoleon complex), but it wouldn't stop her from walking in and sitting at the bar. And from there, she'd.. wait. And wait, and wait.. before her patience finally gave way, and she started stalking the neon-lit club. Eventually, her eyes set on a certain bouncer- feeling an odd compulsion to slide up along the large man, a glass of red wine in each hand. "Care for a drink?"
- Chodov Chodov was never a man of well, class when it came to this sort of thing. He immediately sneered at Caius' armor, a modified, almost tinny laugh coming from the hulk of a man as he began to look the lass over. His massive form dwarfing the poor monarch even in her new expensive boots. "Generally, I'm not to do this on the job. But, for some customer like you I need to be very vigilant, so why not?" He spoke with a indiscernable accent, beneath the threatening mask was a deep, threatening voice that, while never jumping to something higher than a whisper, seemed to be plenty threatening towards the woman below him. "I'd like Vodka. No beer or wine here. Tastes like piss over here." He instinctively wrapped an arm around the Monarch's shoulder, waiting for her to guide him.
- Tsubaki Nishiki Tsubaki was seated where the spirit left her in the 'gentleman's club'. "Hmmmmm well she looks really nice... apparently into the big strong guy type though." the small girl hummed watching the two. Honestly she was bored, no one had shown up and she wanted to do something. Boredom was turning to rage and rage was turning to thoughts of setting the place on fire.
- Shadow Monarch The height was certainly the first thing Caius noticed- quietly cursing her choice of host, as she seriously doubted boots would make up the difference. "A man of taste, are we?" She didn't seem intimidated by the man's voice- speaking clear in her own thick and unmistakably british accent (queen's english, to be exact) as she lead him over to the nearby table- a few feet away from the idol, giving them a moment alone before coming back with a tall shot. Swilling the red wine about in her glass, the Monarch very obviously eyed the seated man up and down, folding one armoured leg over the other. "You must've been working here for a while. Got any stories? Any.. strange people, around these parts?"
- Chodov The great man let out a loud chuckle, finally pulling his hands out of his jacket to reveal large, calloused hands accompanied by two fat silver rings each, both on the middle and index finger and so large they looked like segments of brass knuckles. "Less taste, moreso someone who likes getting drunk quickly rather than having to guzzle a full case of the stuff before getting a buzz." Chodov placed himself rather firmly on the barstool, surveiling the other with his orange, predatory glare. It was no wonder that this man found himself working in security, any other job would've thrown him out immediately. "There's the standard types, some models, some singers, some dogs just begging for a bone. Nothing here's been too crazy. Only been here a month or so though."
- Shadow Monarch Hands always told a story, and hers were no exception- her right hand covered in a black, silk glove, while her left was covered much like the rest of her- an ornate, black, bulky metal keeping her skin hidden from the eyes. "That because of tolerance, or just coming naturally?" If he was scanning her, Chodov might've felt something inherently off about the meeting- something a little familiar, but in all the wrong ways. In the same way she'd likely have something offputting about her, there was something naturally intriguing about him- the monarch putting aside her usual tastes as she looked him over, smiling as a silk-lined finger rolled around the rim of her glass. "You should keep an eye out, then. I hear this place gets a lot more.. interesting, about this time of the year." Well, if you count the apocalypse as "interesting"..
- Tsubaki Nishiki Tsubaki continued to watch the two trying to court one another. "Wow... is it always that awkward?" she said with a chuckle. Then she heard what they were talking about. "Hmmm...." Standing up she walked towards them. "Well well you two really stand out here." the idol said with a chuckle.
- Joey Wheeler Joey was drinking a club soda when he noticed the ghost he had met before. "Lemon... hey over here." he waved her down grinning. "I was wondering when you or someone else on our little team would show up." he said chuckling.
- The Wight to Remain A spirit in a strip club stuck out like a chocolate bar in a swimming pool, but here we are. After a few minutes of spying her way around the bar for signs of their leadership, the spirit turned physical out of sight and walked on out of the basement, turning a few heads along the way. Trying to ignore her burning mark, the spirit visibly flinched when she heard the sound of Joey's nails-on-chalkboard accent. Joey. She walked over towards him, trying her best to mask a scowl as she looked about. I believe there's a few of us here, actually. Regardless, how do you enjoy our headquarters?
- Joey Wheeler "It's.... a bit much... not really my kinda place ya know? What about you? What do you thinka this place?" he asked making conversation like there was nothing wrong at all. Like she was just another person, like they weren't going to end the world. "Ya flinched earlier, did ya hurt yourself? Does your body get hurt?"
- Chodov Chodov let out a heavy, distorted sigh at that. "I don't know, I had a good stint of drinking in my teenage years but not so much now honestly. Probably a good amount of tolerance now that I think about it..." Something about this girl somehow made him far more friendly than he normally put off, a good chuckle or two was made in the midst of it. "The end of the world's been happening for a while hasn't it? Honestly they've been shouting it since I got in this town. Until the earth is cracking under my two feet I don't believe a lick of it. And besides." His eyes lightened up a little bit, pointing to his large mask. "I'm a survivor." It was then that he turned to the... well, someone who was clearly not supposed to be there. It must've slipped. "Say, youngling. Did I ever check you for your ID?"
- The Wight to Remain I don't think this place was designed with me in mind. She spoke flatly- and behind her, a screaming fat man made it rain on a lucky dancer, so perhaps she had a point. It does, but don't worry about it. I'm fine. The bruise on her chin from the Idol was there to remind her that yes, she does feel pain. Still, the spirit quickly changed topics back to the buisness at hand, making things awfully difficult for Joey to keep as "nothing wrong at all". Have you met any of our other comrades? I believe a few have come here. She gestured down at the trio below- particularly the arsonist idol in the middle.
- Joey Wheeler "I met Famine, I was surprised that I actually knew him already." he said looking down below "Hmmm the big guy, the lady in armor and the little girl? They are on our team?" he asked curious. "You are sure?" he watched them, only one of them looked the part of a 'villain'. He watched them all carefully "Hmmm...."
- Shadow Monarch "I never took off drinking when I was younger- it appears that I've got a tad of keeping up to do, hm?" She gave him a coy little smirk as they spoke, leaning in a little on the table. "Perhaps you're right. But, you never know- strange things tend to happen around these parts, and they've gotten weirder. Perhaps the people have a point?" Caius would know more than anyone, really- and was hardly quiet about it with her transparently "crypitc" warnings. "That is a story i'd love to hear." She gestured towards the mask, before.. turning to face the idol. Her face turned a little bit foul with annoyance, putting one hand over the other. ".I'll take that as a compliment, girl." She looked like a knight and he looked like Bane, so it wasn't like Tsubaki didn't have a point. "Can we help you?" She spoke with a tone of exasperation, like simply acknowledging Tsubaki's existence was a daunting task and a massive favour.
- Tsubaki Nishiki "Nah the other guy was on guard when I walked in." she said giggling. "I will have you know it is rude to ask a lady her age, but if you must know." she pulled out her ID. It said '20' on it though that was hard to believe by looking at her. "As for helping me, I think... hmm hey miss... you aren't exactly 'normal' are you?" she asked. Obviously neither of them were normal.
- The Wight to Remain He seemed like a good man. I'm not sure why he was chosen, to be quite frank. She gestured to the three of them with one hand, shrugging her shoulders as she did so. The little girl is one of us, I know that for certain. Don't.. take her for granted. The spirit paused and grumbled for a moment, rubbing the bruise on her jaw. The rest, I have no idea. My mark hurts, but that could be anyone and everyone in the room that it's reacting to- yourself included. I'd have to catch them alone.
- Joey Wheeler "That is easy.... for the guy, he is the bouncer, one of us causes a scene and he would have to escort us out, then that gets the lady alone as well, my mark is burning but not the way I think yours does... its pulling... to that group. You are able to phase yourself back in as a spirit so it would be easier if you checked the guy out... I will go see about the lady in black." he said showing a bit more thought to his ideas than what it would seem.
- Chodov His eyes narrowed a bit at that statement. "...I believe that's one year short. Sorry, little girl but unless you have a nice tip for me I'm afraid I'm going to need to ask you to leave. It's not a place for children." He pushed a bit in his seat, eyeing the woman down, his face resuming its stoic, impossible to read state as he glared down at the idol, taller than her even when seated. And absolutely towering over her once he took his stand. The man had enough height to dwarf all by the tallest of men. And his body, even through his rather large trenchcoat, was incredibly wide.
- Tsubaki Nishiki "A nice tip... I've got two... learn your job, you must be an american or something. Two..." she cheerfully hands him a roll of money. "I am supposed to be meeting some friends her I would really appreciate it if you let me stay sir." she was.... not threatened at all by the mans form.
- Shadow Monarch Caius had some serious doubts about the idol's age, even with the ID infront of her. That question made her freeze on the spot for just an instant, her blood running like ice.. before she just shrugged and smiled it off, the same wonderfully forced, empty friendliness you'd see from a retail employee who was dead inside. "I'm simply ahead of the fashion curve, dearie." It's not like he could tell Caius' secret.. right? No, the armour seemed far more likely. The monarch did amire Chodov's effficiency, however- surprised he got the bribe in all the same. Caius stood up soon after, showing off her own height as she.. was dwarfed by the bouncer, heels be damned. Fuck. "Do you two want a drink?"
- The Wight to Remain Joey being smarter than he looks wasn't saying that much, to be completely honest. Cause a scene? That was easier done than said. The spirit snatched Joey's club soda before he could protest, and walked between the backs of two drunken patrons. In one smooth movement, she dumped the liquid on the head of one of the men, and glassed the other by smashing it into the back of their shoulders! A fight would break out an instant later- possibly taking Joey into it if he wasn't careful-, and immediately drawing the attention of any bouncer in the vicinity. All the while, the spirit used her natural advantage to simply dematerialize once more, leaving the scene of the crime without a trace.
- Chodov Chodov pocketed the extra yen with pride, a tin-like chuckle emerging from his mouthpiece. "Ah, much apologies. Spent a bit of time in the United States myself w-." His eyes immediately began to turn and dash towards the two warring men, those massive paw-like hands of his outstretched. With ease he managed to grasp onto one of the warring patron's shirts and immediately hooked that grown man into the air like a simple child, using his second hand to grasp onto the second patron's face and push him away. A second later and both men were slammed onto the ground with the other bouncers tackling on top of them. Next his eyes moved straight towards the next rowdy-looking customer, his huge hand grasping onto Joey's shoulder and hooking him away from the other two. Glaring down at him with those fierce red eyes of his. "I believe it's time that you exited the premises, sir."
- Joey Wheeler As he was picked up he began flailing "H-hey what did I do! Will ya put me down I didn't do nothin!" he said as he was 'escorted' to the door. Not quiet all according to plan but close enough. Once the two were alone he pulled out his deck and an old duel city duel disk "Hey hey hey, lets settle this fairly eh? How about a duel? You win and I pay ya tree fiddy to get back in, I win I walk back in fer free deal?" it was clear now, that yes this guy was a sin... Joeys mark confirmed it, so may as well take this opportunity to test him.
- The Wight to Remain With the two split up, the spirit took a moment to enjoy the touch of chaos that her handiwork had given the room.. before continuing her work by floating throughout bar, following her mark to see if she could find any of their other allies. She eventually ended up drifting between the woman in black and the young Idol- hovering about to get a good idea of which was which, before floating back up to the scene of the crime- idly watching not only the duel at hand, but also the poor patrons getting manhandled by the hordes of bouncers.
- Chodov The man in a black coat let out a long sigh, before staring at that card. Never before had he seen something with so much power locked within it. Even an army of his archfiends couldn't lay a hand on the dragon. Every single soldier, general, even the king and queen in dozens and dozens of rematches couldn't lay a single hand on Beelze's skin. And eventually he perished in the burst following, his eyes fierce with disgust for the dragon lord. "So... powerless before this. Despite every card... I remain useless." His cards clattered on his disc, and he let out a tinned sigh before staring at the man, pushing up to the side and allowing him entry. "I will uphold my end of the bargain."
- Joey Wheeler Joeys own eyes shined with blackish red glow as the duel ended. "What did you expect from a duel with the Horseman of War... Now Greed if you will excuse me I have to go speak with Envy." the males voice carried a darkness do it. As he walked into the club his Red-eyes Spirit instantly attacked the ghost dragging her to the back where Joey was by force. "That was quiet the trick you pulled there Envy... next time... follow my directions or you will get much worse than this understand?" with his warning the dragon would slam her against the wall. "Have I made myself clear?" there was something different about the blonde... like it wasn't even him.
- Shadow Monarch Caius twitched noticably when she felt the presence around her- the armoured fist glowing with a small hint of purple as she felt the cold chill next to her (trying to hide it behind her back from Tsubaki), before fading as the spirit retreated. She slipped up beside the bouncer once the duel was over, offering him a silk hand on the shoulder and another tall shot of vodka in the other. "Happens to the best of us." Noticing the giant's expression, she figured a few drinks might get him to loosen back up again..
- The Wight to Remain The spirit seemed quite content watching from a distance.. before the dragon spirit loomed over her. Knowing what was about to happen, all that she could do was turn incorporeal at the moment of impact to avoid attracting unneeded attention. By the time she had materialized infront of Joey, her body had a hint of glass in it from being dragged over the scene of the scuffle, but she still stood up tall and unflinching. Of course, that was before she was sent flying into the wall from the dragon's claw- which, to the mortal club around them, would look like she was picked up by an invisible force and thrown hard enough to make a crater, causing another scene around her. There was a moment of quiet as she laid winded on the floor, before slowly stumbling up to her feet, staggering but staying firm all the same. ..I understand. The same.. discresion that she used against Tsubaki came up once more. She obviously had more to say, but knew better than to speak when there was a
- The Wight to Remain giant dragon hovering above her, even if it was just a spirit. Red eyes kept locked on his for a moment, breaths still coming heavy and alert, before she slowly turned and started to walk away.
- Joey Wheeler "Were you dismissed? I don't remember saying you could leave.... You will respect my position understood?" the glow began to fade as did the aura of darkness. "... That said Lemon... we are a team... we need to act like it... so no lone wolfing it okay? If you go to take on a Virtue or Dragon now you would likely die.... again.... I wouldn't want that... okay?" he was back to normal... or... as normal as Joey could be.
- The Wight to Remain The spirit would freeze in place- barely supressing a sigh as she turned about on her heel to see him. ..You asked me to cause a scene. I caused it. The spirit.. lowered her voice as she walked forward to him, standing just opposite the horseman. A hand rested on his shoulder as she stared into his eyes- less alert and expecting a blow, but nevertheless staring at him with an intense, quiet fury. ..If we are to work together, be more specific. Lead, and i'll follow- but if we're to be a team, we need to work together on.. working together.
- Elijah Stone The male sat there and leaned back. Seeming to block out the music and going on around him. How was this their HQ? It was loud, noisy and completely smelled of sweat and... other bodily fluids he dares not think about. But as a doctor it made him... Unphased to say the least. But it still wasn't a pleasant thought. He rubbed the bridge of his nose as he took another drink. This time less concentrated. Watching the mutt lecture the other sins that showed up. Oh wow that was amusing. Maybe Joey wasn't hopeless after all.
- Lillia Was...he just...lecturing the sins? Oh my, what a sight to behold. Eyes look up to the doctor. "Don't tell me...he is our leader?" This thought scares the woman some, keeping the white hood pulled up to conceal her face. Having just tuned out this gross place Lillia leans back. Wanting to die herself, ha jokes. "So, is this going to start or...." Eyes glance down to the book that starts to glow faintly again, there is no time to waste.[delete]
- The Wight to Remain The two would stare and stay quiet for a few moments more, before the spirit eventually broke the contact and started trudging back over to the bar. Seeing as Elijah was a doctor, she simply made a beeline for him- hoping to avoid the glares and stares of people who might've gotten an idea for the supernatural nautre of the club. A spirit stuck out in the club like a chocolate bar in a swimming pool, but here she was! Giving a quick bow to both Lillia and Elijah, she spoke.. ..Greetings, horsemen. How are you liking our headquarters? ..before immediately cutting them off before they ould respond by walking close to Elijah and pointing to some of the glass in her torso, courtesy of Joey's draggin' dragon. You are doctor, no? Help me with this.
- Elijah Stone He cocked a brow and shook his head. "I don't believe we answer to him.... But that is merely just a thought."He closed her eyes a bit. His eyes fell on the glass in her body. "Intersting..."<i>He tapped his chin curiously. He was almost intrugied by the fact the dragon spirit had dragged the spirit he called Lemon and she was able to become injured from it. He adjusted his glasses and looked. "Sure follow me if you will. I suppose doing so in the open is not the best idea.... Lilia do see if you can get the first aid kit from the bar tender? I'm sure they must have something. Thank you. "
