I live in UK. I have good relationship with my boss and I have 4 weeks notice period. I'd like to give them more time to find a replacement (6 weeks), since my new job starts in 3 months. Can they let me go after 4 weeks of my notice period? I don't know how they're going to react, but I don't want to have 2 weeks break between my jobs.
