(18:15:17) ThatOneEnderMan: One of Tails' servers is on. Yay!
55+
56-
(18:17:23) ThatGuyNamedMike: mmmkay. All C+P'ed Boss.
56+
57-
(18:17:41) MegaBossMan: And paste it here, please?
57+
58-
(18:17:51) MegaBossMan: Granted, not the whole big thing.
58+
59-
(18:18:01) ThatGuyNamedMike: First, Tails's overkill idea:
59+
60-
I'm cool with showing overkill amounts on your own side of the field. I didn't at first because I thought it would be confusing (they don't affect anything) but if people want to see them I'm okay with putting them back in.
60+
61-
(18:18:09) ThatGuyNamedMike: Next, the Field Multipliers:
61+
62-
I would actually like another round of changes to field multipliers when you guys have time. Much, much smaller though. I'd like to address the points of Tails and Mike to add a Shield multiplier to a stage and maybe add another Time multiplier too. It's okay to only have Laser/Shield represented on one stage (for now) because they're rare anyway, but Time is a little more common and might benefit from more exposure.
62+
63-
(18:18:17) ThatGuyNamedMike: The Boss Rush idea:
63+
64-
I'm still on-board with the Boss Rush idea, but the exact mechanics of it are something I don't want to finalize until I'm actually programming it. I do absolutely like the idea though and will probably add something like it to the game. If not during the update then maybe in a patch later.
64+
65-
(18:18:25) ThatGuyNamedMike: Next, King:
65+
66-
I like most of the ideas for King and his battle, and the switching between Laser and Shield modes sounds pretty awesome. I will probably end up using a few of the ideas presented, but I'll have to get back to you once I start working on him and better understand what's possible in the context of the game and his battle. Either way, I'm going to try to aim for the Aegislash mechanic.
66+
67-
(18:18:32) ThatGuyNamedMike: Next, Mike's vote on the Genesis Unit:
67+
68-
I'm keeping the Genesis Unit because they're part of the Mega Man canon and look like interesting bosses. Besides, I'm sure they have a lot of fans out there and it wouldn't be fair to exclude them when SO MANY other robots are represented in the game.
68+
69-
(18:18:42) ThatGuyNamedMike: Next, removal of Quint:
69+
70-
Quint is staying. He may not technically be an MKN, but he always appears with them in the main series games and it wouldn't make sense to leave him out. MAYBE I'll remove him from the battle he's in now and make him a random encounter instead, but he will appear in the game.
70+
71-
(18:19:05) ThatGuyNamedMike:
71+
72-
And last but not least, surprise encounters:
72+
73-
I DO like the idea of surprise, unavoidable battles taking place after a mission. Maybe this can be incorporated in a main game mechanic, being the only way to encounter certain foes for example. Or maybe that's how you'll encounter and unlock the MM3 and MM5+ robot masters in the future?
73+
74-
(18:19:15) ThatGuyNamedMike: Maybe after you meet certain conditions in battle (like collecting a certain number of cores or starforce or even using a certain type of ability enough) would trigger a surprise encounter with a MM3/5+ robot master on their home field. Defeat them using only Neutral abilities (as per usual) to unlock them AND their stage at once. That way we can clear out Kalinka's shop and have her sell something else (like awesome hold items). Just one possibility though, and once I have the surprise battle mechanic programmed I can use it for lots of other fun stuff.
74+
75-
(18:19:19) ThatGuyNamedMike: Done.
75+
76-
(18:19:22) MegaBossMan: Alright, thanks.
76+
77-
(18:19:37) ThatGuyNamedMike: 8)

(18:33:44) DarkMan: DANG IT!

(18:33:45) Meta: ..When The Update Comes.
80
(18:33:50) MegaBossMan: @Crash Both.
81
(18:33:57) DaCrashBomber: Ok
82
(18:34:09) AdrianMarceau: MBM and I are going to share a few things first, and then you can all contribute your ideas and feedback.
83
(18:34:09) MegaBossMan: Now, that's it for images. However....
84
(18:34:14) Meta: I'd Ask If We can get a Month that that the update would come out, and i mean MONTH.
85
(18:34:45) AdrianMarceau: Alright Boss, let's give 'em what they came for.
86
(18:34:53) Meta: ...But we don't Know.
87
(18:34:53) AdrianMarceau: Well, maybe not... but a surprise all the same.
88
(18:35:05) DarkMan: I agree. Can you give us a month of when it might come out?
89
(18:35:19) Meta: @Adrian, Don't forget to Tell Em' About the thing that's Live?
90
(18:35:33) ThatGuyNamedMike: Last time Adrian did that, he had the 'BRILLIANT' idea of adding Dark Elements.
91
(18:35:36) DarkMan: What thing? I MUST KNOW!
92
(18:35:40) MegaBossMan: Now, who's ready to go on an interstellar travel?

(18:36:17) Tobyjoey: Woo-Hoo!
102
(18:36:17) DarkMan: OH MY GOD!!!!
103
(18:36:19) AdrianMarceau: He's classified as an Electric Core in this game.
104
(18:36:28) ThatOneEnderMan: Wait wait wait.
105
(18:36:31) AdrianMarceau: He's so colourfull. :P
106
(18:36:32) DarkMan: WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE?
107
(18:36:38) Meta: Cool.
108
(18:36:42) ThatOneEnderMan: Why does he change colors like that?
109
(18:37:01) Meta: @Adrian I knew MBM made Gravity, But Was that the thing you wanted to tell us was live?
110
(18:37:04) ThatGuyNamedMike: *Space-type.
111
(18:37:04) MegaBossMan: That was Galaxy Man's thing.
112
(18:37:30) ThatGuyNamedMike: Also, who's Undefined? :P
113
(18:37:50) DarkMan: WHEN IS IT GONNA BE AVAILABLE???
114
(18:37:52) Meta: @Mike Who?
115
(18:38:02) Meta: @Mike that's MBM.
116
(18:38:10) MegaBossMan: In the Update, you'll be able to face him in battle. For now, you can look at the pretty colors in the database.
117
(18:38:25) MegaBossMan: Although, MegaStorm has scanned Tomahawk in battle before....
118
(18:38:50) AdrianMarceau: @Boss, Galaxy Man can be encountered NOW
119
(18:38:54) Meta: Also I'm Testing the Characters that are added that we can now do in RP
120
(18:39:04) MegaBossMan: Wait, really?
121
(18:39:14) ThatOneEnderMan goes to bonus Field II
122
(18:39:14) MegaBossMan: I hadn't realized that!
123
(18:39:14) AdrianMarceau: Because he's a Space core he'll be hard to find outside of the Bonus Field, but yes.
124
(18:39:20) DaCrashBomber: What should I do if I want to help sprite for this game?
125
(18:39:38) Meta: Going to Ring's Place Now!
126
(18:39:46) ThatOneEnderMan: Yep-o!
127
(18:40:23) Tobyjoey: I feel like if I don't listen to Neil deGrasse Tyson right now, I will be doing Galaxy Man a dishonor.
128
(18:40:54) Meta: Now i showed the Victory sprites for Strike, Freeze, and tomahawk
129
(18:41:11) Meta: Now to see Galaxy in Battle. VS GALAXY!
130
(18:41:19) AdrianMarceau: Due to the low number of Space type abilities available right now, he'll probably only use Ring Boomerang and Neutral abilities, but at least you can scan him and add him to your DB.
131
(18:41:35) MegaBossMan: Now, then....
132
(18:41:44) Meta: I got puush For images.
133
(18:41:48) MegaBossMan: Shall we get into the Ideas portion of tonight?
134
(18:41:49) Meta: This'll be Quick.
135
(18:41:55) ThatGuyNamedMike: OOOOH!
136
(18:42:10) ThatGuyNamedMike: I'll be the only one with a complete Database, now. *runs to Prototype*
137
(18:42:13) Meta: ...NVM, Bonus field II
138
(18:42:34) DaCrashBomber: No, really, i like spriting things, especially turning things from gameboy to color (*cough *cough Stardroid) The game needs Stardroids, and I really like this game... it's a win-win
139
(18:42:35) Meta: I Think I'll get a Good DB After i Get to 1st and grind Stats
140
(18:42:45) TheDoc trudges into the room
141
(18:42:52) MegaBossMan: Actually, we already have someone doing the Stardroids.
142
(18:42:56) MegaBossMan: Doc, quick review.

(18:43:58) AdrianMarceau: @Crash I don't THINK anyone is working on the Genesis Unit... correct me if I'm wrong MB<
152
(18:44:15) MegaBossMan: I was planning on Mega Water, but if you can, feel free.
153
(18:44:26) TheDoc: @ToB I got lost and ended up in Canada
154
(18:44:38) DaCrashBomber: Thanks! I'll get right on it!
155
(18:44:47) DarkMan: How can I help sprite?
156
(18:45:32) DarkMan: Please, I want to help, too.
157
(18:45:38) MegaBossMan: We already have quite a handful of spriters for now, but we'll contact any readily users when things go south.
158
(18:45:50) AdrianMarceau: If you're interesting in spriting for the game, I think you should find a character that hasn't already been done and then PM BossMan about it outside of the chat. He'll let you know if it's available and he can screen your submission before it gets passed on to me.
159
(18:46:01) MegaBossMan: ^^
160
(18:46:12) AdrianMarceau: But note that - as MBM said above - most of the spots are already filled.
161
(18:46:29) DarkMan: What about a way to sprite? How do I sprite?
162
(18:46:37) MegaBossMan: I use Paint.Net myself.
163
(18:46:54) MegaBossMan: If you haven't had experience in spriting before, maybe you should hone your skills first, though.
164
(18:47:00) TheDoc: ^
165
(18:47:08) TheDoc: Same with coding
166
(18:47:33) AdrianMarceau: Speaking of coding, are there any other coders in the chat today?
167
(18:47:35) MegaBossMan: Alright, I'm sure our idea-ready users are starting to get a bit restless, so...
168
(18:48:00) MegaBossMan: I know Tails knows his coding, but he isn't present today.
169
(18:48:03) DarkMan: What about pixlr?
170
(18:48:23) MegaBossMan: Pixlr isn't recommended for spriting.
171
(18:48:27) TheDoc: I know some, but probably not enough to be helpful
172
(18:48:32) AdrianMarceau: That may work too, but as Boss said that's something that can be covered or asked on the community. You could even Google for that info.
173
(18:49:28) MegaBossMan: I know enough to if I were to mess around with database pages without breaking anything, but not the essential stuff.
174
(18:49:43) AdrianMarceau: I was only asking because I think it would be helpful if some other coders started forking my project on GitHub and experimenting with it on their own servers. But that can be discussed another time.
175
(18:49:59) MegaBossMan: Alright, should we move on to the ideas portion of our chat?
176
(18:50:00) TheDoc: Yes, what were we discussing?
177
(18:50:05) AdrianMarceau: Let's move to the submissions portion.
178
(18:50:07) AdrianMarceau: Yes
179
(18:50:13) Meta: ...Alright.
180
(18:50:18) MegaBossMan: Alright, as always, do we have anyone to start us off?
181
(18:50:23) Meta: Volunteers, Begin.
182
(18:50:23) MegaBossMan: Oh, and don't be shy!
183
(18:50:36) Meta: *Ahem* Mike, Didn't YOU have some?
184
(18:50:42) ThatGuyNamedMike: I always go last, soooooo....
185
(18:50:51) MegaBossMan: Mike, if you wish, you could start us off this time :D
186
(18:51:33) Meta: ....Volunteers?
187
(18:51:56) MegaBossMan: Alright, maybe I should start us off tonight.
188
(18:52:05) ThatGuyNamedMike: But, but, but, Galaxy Man. Must Scan. Must be the first to have a 135/157/157 databaaaaase...
189
(18:52:08) MegaBossMan: Any objections to me going first?
190
(18:52:38) MegaBossMan: Alright, figured there wouldn't be any.
191
(18:53:02) MegaBossMan: Now, this one is more Community-based, so if you guys have anything more important...
192
(18:53:09) Meta: MBM'S IDEAS ARE BEGINNING!
193
(18:53:18) DaCrashBomber: a serious idea (i'm almost positive this idea's been thrown around): What if you added Wily Bosses? Ex. On Chapter 3 of Light's story, it would go like battling Yellow Devil, followed by CWU-019, etc.
194
(18:53:20) ThatGuyNamedMike: Nah. I'm just covering Field Mults this week. Go on.
195
(18:53:27) MegaBossMan: Yeah, no Wily bosses.
196
(18:53:32) DaCrashBomber: ok...
197
(18:53:32) MegaBossMan: Much too huge to fit in game.
198
(18:53:52) MegaBossMan: Plus, too many of them rely on contact damage.
199
(18:53:54) ThatGuyNamedMike: ...'cept maybe Super Bass.
200
(18:53:56) ThatGuyNamedMike: :P
201
(18:54:04) AdrianMarceau: Let's do Boss's ideas first because he already started, then Mikey because I want to switch things up, and then everyone else.
202
(18:54:25) MegaBossMan: Alright, first off:
203
(18:54:37) ThatGuyNamedMike: I loooooooooooooooooooove you, too, Adrian. -_-
204
(18:54:59) MegaBossMan: Now, I have no clue how difficult this might be to program, but I figured it wouldn't be too hard. If it is, then abandon ship.
205
(18:55:33) MegaBossMan: Now, some people generally don't like being alerted of threads.
206
(18:56:02) MegaBossMan: For example, I know some people dislike receiving multiple notifications of threads in Roleplay.
207
(18:56:15) MegaBossMan: Especially since that is a constantly updated section, too.
208
(18:56:45) MegaBossMan: So, I'm sure these people, or any other people in these hypothetical situations, sorta get tired of constant notifications for threads they just don't generally care about.
209
(18:57:11) AdrianMarceau: Alright
210
(18:57:21) MegaBossMan: So, if I may, what if there was some sort of option that wouldn't alert the user of a notification in a thread. Some sort of "Unfollow" option?
211
(18:57:37) AdrianMarceau: That sounds like a reasonable request.
212
(18:57:41) MegaBossMan: I know I might be asking too much here, but it's worth a shot?
213
(18:58:08) TheDoc: I like it. Every time I log on, I find myself having to view all the updated threads to get rid of the notification
214
(18:58:18) AdrianMarceau: When logged out, it would still show the same selection of recent threads, but when logged into a specific account I see no harm is manually unfollowing categories you don't care about.
215
(18:58:23) DarkMan: I've got Chill Man, and a possible alt.
216
(18:58:34) MegaBossMan: That sounds great!
217
(18:59:09) AdrianMarceau: I would also be open to implementing a system that's the reverse of that. Rather than having notifications for every single thread by defeat, YOU select which threads to follow manually on a case-by-case basis.
218
(18:59:10) MegaBossMan: Any further thoughts on this topic, or should I move on?
219
(18:59:31) MegaBossMan: Ooh, cool.
220
(18:59:37) TheDoc: @Adrian But then there might be a new thread made that you're unaware of
221
(18:59:43) DarkMan: Hey, how do I get the images I've got on here.
222
(18:59:49) TheDoc: @Dark Please stay on-topic
223
(18:59:59) MegaBossMan: Dark, stay on topic.
224
(19:00:15) AdrianMarceau: Yeah, you're right. We'll stick with MBM's original idea and do category-based subscriptions rather than individual threads.
225
(19:00:43) AdrianMarceau: Okay, moving on to MBM's next idea.
226
(19:00:58) MegaBossMan: Now, I tried posting this before, but for some reason, it wouldn't let me.
227
(19:01:01) DarkMan: But, what about Chill Man?
228
(19:01:04) MegaBossMan: [Always cut it off]
229
(19:01:06) TheDoc: I would prefer unsubscribing from individual threads
230
(19:01:13) TheDoc: @Dark Now is not the time
231
(19:01:18) AdrianMarceau: What about a combo?
232
(19:01:19) MegaBossMan: Talk to me about Chill after the Chat. Besides that, stay on topic.
233
(19:01:37) MegaBossMan: A combo of the two?
234
(19:01:51) DarkMan: Ok, so I was gone. What are we talking about now.
235
(19:01:59) AdrianMarceau: You can check/uncheck which categories to follow in your profile, and if necessary there will be a deeper "ignore" option for individual threads.
236
(19:02:28) AdrianMarceau: Or some form of that. Sort of like normal forums but with the category following, I think.
237
(19:02:33) TheDoc: The only reason I say that is because there might be specific, say, Gnereal threads that I don't want to hear about, but all the others are fine
238
(19:02:39) TheDoc: *General

243
(19:03:28) DarkMan: What are we talking about, guys?
244
(19:03:44) MegaBossMan: We're talking about a system of following/unfollowing specific threads.
245
(19:03:50) AdrianMarceau: If the ignore option takes precedence over the category-wide subscriptions, that should be able to solve both problems.
246
(19:03:53) AdrianMarceau: Yes
247
(19:05:09) TheDoc: Sounds good.
248
(19:05:11) DarkMan: That would help with the clutter of threads from months ago.
249
(19:05:12) AdrianMarceau: Alright, let's move on. And DarkMan, read the chat you're in if you want to know what we're talking about.
250
(19:05:17) MegaBossMan: I like it.
251
(19:05:28) DarkMan: Ok.
252
(19:05:36) MegaBossMan: Alright, my next idea?
253
(19:05:41) AdrianMarceau: Yes please
254
(19:06:03) MegaBossMan: Now, Adrian, feel free to shoot me down if what I'm about to suggest just isn't possible in the realm of Prototype.
255
(19:06:34) MegaBossMan: To start us off, this idea pertains around to the AI in the game.
256
(19:06:46) MegaBossMan: Now, I'm not sure about in Hard Mode, but....
257
(19:07:14) MegaBossMan: Rhythm isn't exactly the smartest cookie out there, constantly swapping stats, even if she has the upper advantage.
258
(19:07:29) AdrianMarceau: That's true...
259
(19:07:44) MegaBossMan: That is a bit of a problem, because while Proto Man himself is a formidable foe, Rhythm sorta plays like she's pressing a random button to win.
260
(19:08:02) AdrianMarceau: ...
261
(19:08:13) ThatGuyNamedMike: And people thought I was crazy to suggest that all Swap abilities be removed. -_-
262
(19:08:17) MegaBossMan: [No offense to Rhythm, of course]
263
(19:08:23) MegaBossMan: I like the swap ideas myself.
264
(19:08:32) AdrianMarceau: No, you're right. She IS hitting a random button.
265
(19:08:43) AdrianMarceau: I don't think the swap abilities are even properly programmed into the AI subroutines.
266
(19:08:44) MegaBossMan: So, if possible, could we somehow set up some sort of system or programming where she uses her swapping moves based on her current stat?
267
(19:09:03) MegaBossMan: IE-"Rhythm's Defense Stat<Player Defense Stat"
268
(19:09:19) MegaBossMan: Maybe make it a little bit less random?
269
(19:09:29) MegaBossMan: I know that might not be possible, but....
270
(19:09:40) DarkMan: I feel like if we redid Rhythm like that, MBM, then some other AI would do what Rhythm does now.
271
(19:09:44) MegaBossMan: If this works though, maybe it could work for other stat-dropping moves?
272
(19:09:59) ThatGuyNamedMike: It's not too late. You could also still code them into something else. ANYTHING else.
273
(19:10:08) MegaBossMan: IE-Bright Man uses Bright Burst more commonly if the player's defense stat is higher than his?
274
(19:10:19) MegaBossMan: I dunno, I'm just throwing this out there.
275
(19:10:41) MegaBossMan: As long as Rhythm just plays a little bit smarter, I'll be fine.
276
(19:10:53) DarkMan: Like I said before...^
277
(19:11:10) MegaBossMan: Adrian, does this sound at all possible, or is this something we shouldn't expect anytime soon?
278
(19:11:16) TheDoc: It sounds good, but just make sure that Rhythm isn't guaranteed to use that move if the stat parameters match. Simply make it a possible move
279
(19:11:28) TheDoc: As far as coding capabilities, I got no idea
280
(19:11:45) MegaBossMan: You and I both, Doc.
281
(19:12:02) TheDoc: :D

283
(19:12:20) AdrianMarceau: I know it's code and hard to read for some, but that's the AI for EVERY robot.
284
(19:12:29) AdrianMarceau: Really, really basic.
285
(19:13:04) DarkMan: That's probably why Rhythm does that. Maybe her code is too basic.
286
(19:13:23) AdrianMarceau: For the update I'm changing the structure a bit and giving key robots their own personalized AI subroutines, but RIGHT NOW this is what you guys are working with.
287
(19:13:51) AdrianMarceau: I'll add entries for the swap abilities to make Rhythm (and other robots using the abilities) a little smarter. Should only take me a few minutes.
288
(19:14:04) MegaBossMan: Oh, really?
289
(19:14:41) AdrianMarceau: Yeah, I'll upload them momentarily.

305
(19:17:06) MegaBossMan: At least, that's the average. Only way we continue past that is if we go in General afterwards.
306

310
(19:17:51) MegaBossMan: Sorry I didn't have more, guys.
311
(19:18:20) DarkMan: Not right now!
312
(19:18:23) MegaBossMan: Who feels like going next?
313
(19:18:44) AdrianMarceau: Mike?
314
(19:19:19) MegaBossMan: ....It appears he's not here at the moment?
315
(19:20:07) MegaBossMan: Alright, since it appears Mike isn't here, we'll move on to our next volunteer.
316
(19:20:18) AdrianMarceau: Okay, let's do it.
317
(19:20:23) MegaBossMan: Does anyone have any ideas?
318
(19:20:39) TheDoc: How will Rain Flush work in the Update?
319
(19:21:16) MegaBossMan: First off, it'll hit both sides. Also, since SF no longer boosts percents, Rain Flush will no longer be boosted.
320
(19:21:33) MegaBossMan: So, PBs won't be as simple as "Press Rain Flush, win."
321
(19:21:54) TheDoc: What's the percentage of damage for it?
322
(19:22:08) DarkMan: Bye guys, I'll be back tomorrow.
323
(19:22:13) TheDoc: C ya
324
(19:22:31) MegaBossMan: ....I wouldn't know, but I recommend it get boosted from it's current 10%.
325
(19:23:03) TheDoc: Any particular percentage?
326
(19:23:10) TheDoc: That you'd like, that is
327
(19:23:20) MegaBossMan: I'd say around 25%.
328
(19:23:38) AdrianMarceau: I was going to leave it at 10%....
329
(19:23:46) AdrianMarceau: but if you think it should be boosted
330
(19:23:57) AdrianMarceau: It's 10% base, and 15% with a robot's core boost, so...
331
(19:23:59) TheDoc: Well, consider bench modifiers. 25% gets reduced by a lot down the line
332
(19:24:08) AdrianMarceau: And if it's a super effective hit, it'll be 30%...
333
(19:24:13) AdrianMarceau: and then there are field multipliers
334
(19:24:16) MegaBossMan: It really needs a boost. Killing Bright Man in a new profile is still a pain.
335
(19:24:38) AdrianMarceau: But I guess with the Starforce boost being taken away, it should be fine to boost it a bit
336
(19:24:57) AdrianMarceau: It shouldn't OHKO Bright Man though, so we have to be careful of that
337
(19:25:08) MegaBossMan: Yes, of course.
338
(19:26:09) TheDoc: Can it be guarded against via Starforce? Or is that negated, too?
339
(19:27:29) MegaBossMan: I would imagine not, but I could be very well wrong.
340
(19:27:46) TheDoc: I would hope not, considering it can't be boosted.
341
(19:27:51) AdrianMarceau: No, it cannot be guarded against with starforce.
342
(19:28:03) AdrianMarceau: For the same reasons it's not boosted, as you said.
343
(19:28:13) MegaBossMan: Hmm, then Rain Flush is OK in my book.
344
(19:28:43) MegaBossMan: Oh, quick question, Adrian?
345
(19:28:50) AdrianMarceau: Yeah?
346
(19:29:11) MegaBossMan: You know how Mechas have a stat point limit of 50, and robots a stat point limit of 100?
347
(19:29:33) MegaBossMan: [IE When you beat a robot/mecha with maxed stats and they give off a certain point value that boosts your robot]
348
(19:29:44) MegaBossMan: If that's the case, what would Bosses give out?
349
(19:30:14) MegaBossMan: [If you were to theoretically defeat one that is maxed out, that is]
350
(19:30:38) AdrianMarceau: I thought robots had a stat limit of 400? Or are we not talking about combined?
351
(19:30:55) MegaBossMan: Nono, I meant the Stat points that your robot gains.
352
(19:31:14) MegaBossMan: As in, you need to collect a bunch of them for your robot to reach their stat limits?
353
(19:31:14) AdrianMarceau: If I'm not mistaken, that's a percentage of their stat total...
354
(19:31:21) AdrianMarceau: Oh oh
355
(19:31:26) AdrianMarceau: I see what you mean
356
(19:31:28) AdrianMarceau: I think
357
(19:31:49) MegaBossMan: Gimme a sec...
358
(19:32:25) MegaBossMan: http://puu.sh/hRaAT/6a3afee159.png
359
(19:33:06) MegaBossMan: When you beat a maxed-out mecha, they give out 50 points.
360
(19:33:18) MegaBossMan: When you beat a maxed-out Robot, they give out 100 of those points.
361
(19:33:21) AdrianMarceau: Right, the amount of bonus stats yielded by any target is directly proportionate to their base stat totals.
362
(19:33:25) AdrianMarceau: https://github.com/AdrianMarceau/mmrpg-prototype/blob/master/data/classes/robot_trigger-disabled.php#L368
363
(19:33:33) MegaBossMan: Oh yes, I see.
364
(19:33:45) TheDoc: So will it work the same way for bosses? They'd just tend to give out more stats?
365
(19:33:53) AdrianMarceau: Yes, they would.
366
(19:34:03) AdrianMarceau: Unless I were to change something.
367
(19:34:18) MegaBossMan: I'm just wondering because I want to know if it'd be better to grind stats now or later.
368
(19:34:38) AdrianMarceau: The code I just linked is where it combines E/A/D/S for the base amount, and then takes note of your LV vs the target's LV
369
(19:35:04) AdrianMarceau: If you're a lower level, the reward is proportionately boosted, else it's lowered (of course)
370
(19:36:28) AdrianMarceau: And then finally, it's divided by the number of robots you brought into battle:
371
https://github.com/AdrianMarceau/mmrpg-prototype/blob/master/data/classes/robot_trigger-disabled.php#L454
372
(19:37:01) AdrianMarceau: Oh wow... I got sidetracked their. We're talking about the bonus stats... Let's back this train up a moment..
373
(19:37:05) AdrianMarceau: *there
374
(19:37:32) MegaBossMan: I....Completely forgot the original topic.
375
(19:37:38) AdrianMarceau: Here we go. Much simpler.
376
https://github.com/AdrianMarceau/mmrpg-prototype/blob/master/data/classes/robot_trigger-disabled.php#L713
377
(19:37:59) AdrianMarceau: The bonus stat you are awarded is equal to 5% of their stat when you disable them.
378
(19:38:34) AdrianMarceau: Sorry about that.
379
(19:39:03) AdrianMarceau: So fortress bosses will yield the same percentage.
380
(19:39:17) TheDoc: Did that answer your question, MBM?
381
(19:39:26) MegaBossMan: Yes.
382
(19:39:29) AdrianMarceau: It's just tweaked based on your level vs their's.
383
(19:39:35) AdrianMarceau: Thanks, let's move on. :P
384
(19:39:42) TheDoc: Then I have one more question: can this --> http://rpg.megamanpoweredup.net/_preview/screenshots/mmrpg-update-preview_20150517-02.png get a scroll bar (if possible)? Chrome is a dreadful pain to scroll downwards with your mouse.
385
(19:40:25) AdrianMarceau: YES! It doesn't show in the screen shot, but when you hover over the side there's an actual scrollbar now.
386
(19:40:27) AdrianMarceau: :)
387
(19:40:38) TheDoc wipes the sweat off his brow
388
(19:40:41) TheDoc: Thank goodness
389
(19:41:20) TheDoc: That's all I got
390
(19:42:06) TheDoc: <_<
391
(19:42:08) TheDoc: >_>
392
(19:42:15) TheDoc: So.......meeting adjourned?
393
(19:42:24) MegaBossMan: Anyone else have any other questions or ideas?
394
(19:42:31) AdrianMarceau: Awesome. Can I just throw something out there quickly?
395
(19:42:38) MegaBossMan: Yes, sure.
396
(19:43:12) AdrianMarceau: As part of my optimization and CSS cleaning, I redid a bunch of the styles and made the website more responsive.
397
(19:43:43) AdrianMarceau: It will actually be readable on smartphones and smaller devices, which should be a huge help when using the website as a reference.
398
(19:43:53) TheDoc: Excellent
399
(19:44:09) AdrianMarceau: No more small text and hard-to-click buttons. Nice big mobile-friendly buttons and layouts. :)
400
(19:44:14) MegaBossMan: Oooh, cool!
401
(19:44:39) MegaBossMan claps in honor of mobile-friendly website
402
(19:45:06) AdrianMarceau: Starting with the smallest resolution possible for an iPhone (that I know of) 320px width and then working my way up. I have most of the website part done but I haven't touched the game yet. It would be SO awesome if I got a compact version of it working on the phone with just CSS tweaks.
403
(19:45:26) AdrianMarceau: But we'll see. At the very least the database and community will be much more accessible in the future.
404
(19:45:34) AdrianMarceau: Anyway, moving on... Mike?
405
(19:45:36) MegaBossMan: Yaaaaaaay!
406
(19:45:42) MegaBossMan knocks on Mike's door
407
(19:46:22) TheDoc: It says, "Gone fishing"....
408
(19:46:45) MegaBossMan: Why I outta...
409
(19:47:00) TheDoc: P.S: Don't get mad, MegaBoss
410
(19:47:17) TheDoc: P.P.S: I love you, Adrian
411
(19:47:23) TheDoc: Smiley face
412
(19:48:46) MegaBossMan: Alright, do we have any last-minute ideas?
413
(19:48:58) MegaBossMan: Any final questions?
414
(19:49:11) AdrianMarceau: Lol
415
(19:49:14) AdrianMarceau: I guess not?
416
(19:49:20) TheDoc: Meeting adjourned, then
417
(19:49:23) ThatOneEnderMan: Suuuure?
418
(19:49:26) AdrianMarceau: :'(
419
(19:49:38) TheDoc pats Adrian on the back
420
(19:49:40) MegaBossMan: Are we sure? After all, this does only come once a week....
421
(19:49:50) MegaBossMan pats Doc patting Adrian on the back
422
(19:50:00) TheDoc pats Ender
423
(19:50:07) TheDoc: It ends in 10 min anyways
424
(19:50:29) AdrianMarceau: I can idle for a little while if you guys wanna wait for Mike to come back.
425
(19:50:30) MegaBossMan: Well, we had some good ideas today.
426
(19:50:39) MegaBossMan: We only have 10 minutes anyway...
427
(19:50:58) MegaBossMan: I don't believe he can squeeze it in there, at this point.
428
(19:51:09) ThatOneEnderMan: At least it wasn't 4/19/15's meeting all over again....
429
(19:51:11) TheDoc: I'm unsure if Mikey is coming back...He's been gone for awhile
430
(19:51:17) AdrianMarceau: Alright, understood.
431
(19:51:22) MegaBossMan: 9 minutes left.
432
(19:51:38) MegaBossMan: He has that idea thread, right? If so, he should just post it there.
433
(19:51:49) MegaBossMan: Unless he miraculously comes back.
434
(19:51:54) AdrianMarceau: Thanks for coming out guys, hopefully I have more to show next time and if not - bring those suggestions! And don't be scared to dig around in the code if you're curious about how everything works.
435
(19:51:55) MegaBossMan: .....Now!
436
(19:52:01) AdrianMarceau: Lol
437
(19:52:12) TheDoc: I'll send you the minutes MBM
438
(19:52:45) MegaBossMan: I'll check it over and fill in the parts you weren't here for.
439
(19:52:50) Meta: I'll do the PB.
440
(19:52:54) MegaBossMan rings the gong
441
(19:53:03) MegaBossMan: No need to do the PB.
442
(19:53:12) TheDoc: Ciao!
443
(19:53:16) AdrianMarceau: Bye!
444
(19:53:18) MegaBossMan: Dovidenja!
