In the very beginning, the creation of life - life had still existed. In the form of powerful beings called Jirns, and the ancestors before them. However. The Jirns had a plan for the universe unlike any other. They created three races; and among them were humans. But not humans as you or I would be familiar with. Something much older.. Humans that were precursor to humans today. These precursors shaped the world around them with their intelligent minds, and almost primal instinct for scientific advancement and civilization. They built the tallest buildings, and the fastest ships effortlessly, and connected the three races. However, Precursors had an emphasized flaw. Their greed. A race that treated achievement like a drug, a hunger to be powerful that would be un-sated until they reached the very top of the ladder. The Precursors looked up to the Jirn, and saw their creators. They had made everything around them, every resource they could make use of to achieve power, would have been created by a Jirn.. How could they grow stronger than gods? A gathering of Precursor minds was put together to solve this problem, the one solution they collected was "To be stronger than creators, we must be able to edit creation." |

The Precursors rapidly broke down every material they knew, to the stage that aura was just below, and they called it Strings. They discovered that every spec of dust, every pebble, or gas had a unique arrangement of strings, and with just the right provoking, these strings could be edited, vibrated, moved, controlled, and felt.. They could make a rock turn into oxygen, or oxygen into a rock. Yet, they discovered this could not happen without a cost. One pound of nitrogen, would yield one pound of osmium. (which would be 1.3 cubic inches, compared to a pound of nitrogen which is like the entire atmosphere). Coal couldn't be turned into diamonds, because the resulting diamond would be so small it's worth would be less than the coal, but this wasn't enough. They attempted to mimic their creators by creating beings woven out of the very strings that made the universe around them, and it worked. If life could be created does this art have no bounds? The Precursors strived for more, and more, and more. Until they reached a wall. Because everything has a breaking point. In the pinnacle of their war with the Highbreeds, they tore apart the very weave of strings that connected them to the materials around them. The Highbreeds descended onto the now powerless race, and so; Exodus went black. However every man has a chance at redemption, and every race has a chance at rebirth. |

It must be noted that before The Precursors doomed their own existence, they had played god at times, weaving an entire dimension and inhabitants for it, this dimension is now known to be "True Exodia", a realm of the purest form and the most basic construction, it is where some precursors escaped and all string beings live (excluding homunculi and other beings made by people in the normal realm). It consists of plains of cloth stretched out into the horizon, mostly peaceful creatures of all shapes and sizes circle the horizon. What must be said is that The Precursors have the ability to see the true weave of any substance, this power is available but less potent in protohumans/protohuman/human halfbreeds, and humans who have mostly devolved it and are only capable to use it under controlled conditions, with concentration and a large amount of time they can invoke it temporarily, this can be used to, for a short time, see and study the string arrangements of elements. (this is how studying is done) |
|
With their world shattered, The Precursors left behind their technology and drifted off into deep space, where they crashed on an alien planet and settled there albeit as machines, it is during their journey that Precursors who stayed on the planet adapted into the first image of humans on a planet that survived the Highbreed attack, The Proto-Humans, and soon learned the secrets of weaving (framing?, name still not chosen) and used it to reassign elements string configurations as well as create their own four elements, Sugar, Metal, Plastic and Smoke, none of these elements should be mistaken for the common counterpart, these materials have the most simplistic weave of all elements. Each Purifier, a powerful "whiteweaver" with terrifying weaving abilities is responsible for keeping their respective element stable (this only applies to the four simple elements), The Purifiers were touched by the story of Precursors, and decided to take an oath to "Purify" the universe, they believe that as time and power move alongside each other, corruption manifests stronger and stronger until the entire existence of something is broken into chaos and suffering, and decided to make the planet devoid of colour other than black, white and what's in between in addition to removing the diversity of elements and weave, making it very bland but still existing on the mortal realm, the protohuman inhabitants of the planet are miserable, living in sad industrial conditions and depressing office environments, driving many of them unstable. |
|
Each Purifier gave a "Guardian" their heritage to the elements, the guardians used to start industry on the planet, now known as "The Coma", smoke mines, plastic/sugar factories and metal yards were opened, Coma Sugar is a nutritional base with dangerous addiction side effects. The Guardian of Sugar decided to use it to drug his employees, make them work in a drugged happiness, then leave them in the symptoms of withdrawal where they mutated into horrible ghouls and died from hunger, he then used the dead bodies of ghouls to make even more sugar, he believed everyone was happy, this was taken as proof of The Purifiers' "Corruption with time" theory, they went on a campaign, killing each of The Guardians, even ones not associated with the massacre and retrieving their ownership to the elements. It must be noted that one of The Guardians was a Purifier's child son, showing that are like they planet they made devoid of emotions, not thinking twice before killing their own offspring. |
|
The population entered an all-time low, there now is only few industrial zones and The Purifiers were put to sleep by civilians in order to stop them from turning the planet, and eventually, other planets into nothingness. |

-- Multiple things have been redefined. True humans are no longer, part precursor, and are now part protohuman, Homunculi are now beings made out of strings, (most powers will retain). Philostones have been renamed to Redstones, and are now created by finding valuable - String dense material and compacting it. They are used by taking strings out of the newly created reserve and placing them in an arrangement. A drained redstone will be deprived of strings. Which will make it a blackstone. Which will remain the same as before application wise. Whitestone will also remain the same. (Nerfs that were given before alchemy was voided will retain). |

As far as In RP mechanics, and learning how to weave/frame, you will need to first, get a character approved, then you will have to pick one of the five periodic groups to study. This is OOC time, not IC time. |
|
- Alkali Metals - 1 week to learn |
- Alkaline Earth Metals - 1 week to learn |
- Transition Metals - 2.3 weeks to learn |
- Halogens - 1 week to learn |
- Noble Gasses - 1 week to learn |
- Hydrogen - 3 days to learn |
- Nonmetals & Metalloids (oxygen and sulfur, etc) - 1 week to learn |
|
Learning can be done in any order, and is entirely up to your or your character, certain fields may only require you to learn certain elements, so you can correspond what you want to learn directly with this chart. All weaving can be preformed within a 15 meter radius, however the weaver must have direct contact with a surface. The surface does not necessarily have to correspond with what he/she is weaving though. For example. If there's a sheet of scrap metal 5 meters away from me, I can place my hand on a wall next to me, or the floor and weave it from where I am. But if it was 16 meters away, and I repeated this it would yield no results. As far as RPing things goes, a weaver possesses the ability to physically force his hand inside of a surface temporarily while he weaves. In lore, strings exist inside the materials, and that's why the learning curve is so steep, a weaver has to memorize how the strings are arranged because he/she can't see them. |
|
After learning a periodic group, one can move, cause chemical reactions, heat, and pressurize the elements within them. (one must know both elements he's using in a weaving chemical reaction and have them studied/have studied the periodic table containing them).
