¹The beasts set with scale and filled with the viles and venoms of the world were called DRAGONS, and they were to rule over the humanoid races of the world. ²Five colors were created, each with a venom and a role. ³The White Dragon was like the beast of the land. What irony, thought the black god, that a monster filled with rage and ravenous hunger would rule over the men of the world, like the hunting dog ordering the hunter. ⁴The White Dragon set into the humans, chilling them to the bone with the cold of the far reaches before digging into their sinew and marrow, splitting meat from bone. ⁵Their hunger was endless, their hoards the treasures of their meals, as a hunter may put a head on his wall.
