Japanese designer and contemporary artist Takashi Murakami will be bringing his art to Singapore’s iconic Fullerton Bay Hotel Café. This revamp of the classic British themed café that will add more live and fun to the menu, is expected to be complete and available on the 20th November 2019 onwards from 3pm to 5.30pm. Patrons will be treated to a Takashi Murakami themed high tea set with a complementary glass of champagne for $50

“I don’t think it’s an unnatural thing at all for my collaborations or projects to be seen as art but entertainment at the same time.” – Takashi Murakami, a household name in art and pop culture, who has been collaborating with brands and popular icons such as Louis Vuitton and Billie Eilish respectively. He showcases his trademarked artistic style, blurring the lines between fine art and pop culture. This time, he is planning to bring his ideas to the Singapore Fullerton Bay Hotel Café, in the form of food. The revamped menu will bring about a refreshing change to the formal atmosphere of the café, infusing Takashi Murakami’s artwork into pastries and beverages, providing a more vibrant and fun dining experience to customers of all ages.
