+NOTE 2: Certainly faster to not use ascetic Pursuer strat, but it's nice and comfy to have a +8 weapon right at the start. Instead you would certainly want: pickup 3 Large shard in Bastille, do minimal level up at the start, buy things from the cat in 2 times, and maybe more memes.
-NOTE: Seems faster to kill Smelter because you only have to go through the belfry once then, and you don't have to beat the invader (belfry is locked if you are invaded), and summoning Lucatiel on Rotten is long. Also more souls and boss is very easy with OP Rapier.
