Law of Causality/Yuma's Law: Often simply stated as 'One is all, all is one', The Law of Causality states that, no matter how contradicting, all aspects eventually lead to one another and/or work with each other in some shape way or form.

The law of Causality also states that there is a nigh-infinite amount of different aspects, and that the Thaumaturges will only ever just scratch the surface when it comes to discovering them.

Writing out a spell: The Thaumaturge thinks of a desired effect, and attempts to summarize that effect with a few key aspects. After finalizing the aspects, s/he will then add the 'details' by attempting to link together all the key aspects with other formulas and equations(typically at the cost of other aspects linked or related to the key ones in the process) and create an end result.

Thanks to Yuma's law, writing out spells doesn't take nearly as long as it used to, however, it's still a painstaking task.

The Primordial Aspects: Aspects that are said to have existed since the dawn of time. Order and Entropy are quite common, however, true ‘nothingness’ has yet to be fully utilized by a Thaumaturge to this day.

Nothingness: A hypothetical formula that's able to be found everywhere at once, yet is simultaneously unable to be traced or controlled. Researching Nothing drives its victims to madness, eventually causing them to disappear altogether.

Entropy: Represents chaos and destruction. Commonly used for breaking apart things. Advanced uses include explosions, blasts, etc.

Order: Represents purity and regularity. Important aspect for spells involving bringing things together. (Ice, creating walls/barriers, etc.)

Motion: Movement/animation. Used in a lot of different formulas for the sake of directing spells. Example uses include walking up walls, blinking, etc.

Exchange: A special aspect that's mostly used as a base for certain formulas. Teleportation runes are made using a complex diagram of the exchange aspect.

Life: Unique aspect used by medical Thaumaturges, Capable of mending wounds at a great expense of the user; very rare to master.

Beast/Instincts: Represents animal instincts/features. Allows the user to enhance their senses to certain degrees.

Time: VERY Complicated formula, but coveted. The few time mages have found out how to slow people and hasten movements. However, reversing time entirely has always been a distant dream.

Mana: Raw mana. Thaumaturges complain about this rune all the time, as it's the main thing used to bind together their formulas. While using more mana runes is the easiest way to link together a spell, more mana runes means more mana. Less runes, on the other hand, is more efficiency.

Imprison: Represents paralysis and the inability to move, as well as overall oppression.

Weaponry: Weaponizes spells. Basically used to make certain spells that are otherwise non-offensive offensive; example is mixing it with Machinery to create a cannon.
