Silence had overwashed the Freeroam Forest, the Pokémon not even playing. Barely any trainers or paranormal entities traversed in this forest anymore. It has been a year since the plague, almost no one daring to venture outside. A man was providing resources for the remainder of Pokémon, Leon. Full name Leonardo DeLuca, the man was thirty three, by now. An eyepatch was always plastered on his left eye, whilst his right had a purple hue brushed onto the iris. Brown hair was his style, slinked upwards, almost as spiky as blades. Fashioning a purple scarf, it extended downwards towards the end of DeLuca's chest. A brown jacket was sported, as well, a T-shirt stashed underneath. Two belts wrapped in an "X" were coiled around it, but surprisingly, they weren't tight, more loose than any other belt. Black jeans fell to the tip of his also black shoes. The man's personality.. well, he was rude. DeLuca's favourite words were "Fuck", "You", "Shit", "Bitch", "Asshole", and a combination of them. A pistol was stashed into his right jacket pocket. |

"Alright, everyone! Dinner time!" Leon shouted, inside some sort of underground structure. Several, maybe even hundreds of Pokémon and people rushed into the vast and long kitchen/dining room. The humans had bread, and steak, while the Pokémon had treats, berries, and pieces of meat. Of course, for the fire types, hot sauce was a necessity. Sitting down himself, DeLuca grabbed a small piece of bread, and ripped out a piece with his teeth. In fact, the wheat-filled piece of food was tasty, really tasty that they would have this almost daily. Cutting a small piece of steak, a woman sat next to him. "Oh, hey Minxie." Leon chuckled. Minxie, an Arcanine Gijinka with fluffy hair. She was about thirty two, and fashioned herself with a t-shirt, and blue jeans. "Hey, Leon." She smiled and looked at her plate. "How'd the hunt go?" She asked, while eating a piece of meat. "I found some Miltank to get this food from. Our bread farm is safe, for now. At least none of the sick people will infect us with that virus. I sturdied up our defenses. No one can get in or out without permission." Leon reported, eating another piece of bread. Minxie nodded solemnly. "Its sad. They don't have homes and they're really sick, dropping like flies." The Arcanine Gijinka muttered. "There's millions of them, don't worry. They wont die out.. Not that soon, I hope." DeLuca said, adding the last part as a mutter under his breath. |

The conversations of the humans and Pokémon soon overlapped in the long dining room. DeLuca and Minxie had a small relationship of sorts. More than just friends. Three years since they met. At that time, everyone was healthy... The virus? A sickness even stronger than cancer, or even ebola. Most of the infected stay in their habitats or homes, but some venture outwards into the forest, looking for a cure. The virus, airborn, almost uncurable. Leon was lucky not to become one of them. A man, Styxian Gaius, was silent, simply chewing on his steak while looking around. The man had been depressed ever since.. Well... |

- | An hour later, everyone had scurried off to their desired places in the underground base. Surprisingly, the base was large enough to hold hundreds. Rooms consisted of the kitchen, dining area, living area where people can relax, training center, bedrooms/dormitories, bathrooms, and supply room, where weapons were stored. It was huge, spanning over half of the Freeroam Forest.

Sighing, Styxian stood up, and walked into his room. Watching his strange actions, Arensen narrowed his eyes. Ever since last year, the usually depressed man was always happy. Now, he was just... silent. |
|
Aren, too, would usually hit on Minxie. That was the reason why his left hand was hurt. The Gardevoir, Arensen, just sat on the couch in the living room, silent. Suddenly, the Gardevoir grabbed an incoming bottle, which was colored brown. A beer bottle. Sighing, he cracked it open. Minxie sat next to him, gulping down a bit of the beer from her bottle. |

Looking at the thirty-three year old Arcanine Gijinka, the Gardevoir sighed and cracked open the beer bottle, gulping down some of the alcoholic liquid. "This is good." He declared. Of course, Arensen was over the drinking age, being twenty-three human years old. |

"So, Aren." Minxie drank a bit more of the beer, "How's life." She chuckled, almost spitting out a beer from the laughter exploding up her throat. The Gardevoir simply turned his head to face the Arcanine Gijinka, which made the woman burst from laughter. "Just fucking amazing." His face was met with a shower of the alcoholic beverage Minxie had spit out. Wiping it off, Aren laughed as well.
