Possessing nigh-omnipotent power, Helvian is known to be arguably one of the most powerful deities within the Pantheon. This power and knowledge, however, is far too much for his mind to comprehend.

As the God of Death, Zen'Ari acts as an escort towards the lost souls of Erilen, bringing them to their final resting place within Natinatara's Boneyard.

Helvian was once a mortal man that absolutely loved magic. A great scholar that lived within what is now Malibor, Helvian eventually became a renown Archmage that served the king directly. Eventually, however, he grew weary of this job and instead pursued something else; the Manastream. Within several weeks of studying, he and his family had moved off to the Sithran isles to grow closer to the stream, where he may freely study it from a safe distance. It wasn't until two years after the death of his wife that he decided to make the legendary pilgrimage straight onto the Manastream itself.

Zen'Ari is known for bringing omens and portents for when important or loved ones are about to die, and it's said that hearing the thunderous hooves of his chariot means that he intends to escort your soul from Erilen soon.

When Helvian had finished his pilgrimage and stood before the greatness of the Manastream, he had decided to do something that shocked the few survivors of his entourage. He leaped straight into the Abyss, only to find that the great power of the Manastream had both fueled him into divinity yet shattered his mind.

Natinatara: Helvian has a fascination with the Maid of Ash, as she's the only deity within the Pantheon (besides Amelia) that possesses knowledge beyond even his grasp.

More often than not, Zen'Ari's churches can be found working closely alongside the Nataran faith, where they create a single church devoted to both gods. These buildings are known for containing two halls; the 'Plume Hall', which contains the bodies of those who are considered 'good' and are said to have ascended to a place such as the three heavenly gardens, and the 'Blood Hall', which contains the bodies of infamous people that are said to have earned a spot in Hell.
27
28
A true Zenarin church, however, wouldn't bother distinguishing the two, and instead bury them alongside each other in their sprawling crypts. To them, the dead are to be treated equally no matter the status, be they royalty or knave. A traditional Zen'Arin church is Gothic in design, and usually has a spot for public execution found within the courtyard.

Temples or places of worship come in all shapes and sizes; be it spiraling wizard towers or, in the case of Eris, massive palaces. Whatever the case, all these places usually contain some sort of mentor or teacher that is capable of helping young apprentices or newly converted worshipers hone their magic. Often times, a dedicated shrine will contain several stages and specially designed rings to show their magic off to the public.

Helvian is worshiped by all sorts of wizards, and anyone with an interest in the advancement of magic at least pay him lip service in some shape way or form. Rank within his clergy is determined by magical knowledge and power, but this varies depending on the temples. Some may be more malevolent in nature, with dedication towards the dangerous side of magic, while others will be more benign, simply seeking to advance the technology and humanity as a whole with the use of magic.

Often times, the party will be celebrated with a massive parade and great ice sculptures in the middle of the city. A common tradition is for newly weds to use this day for marriage.
