Myconids are a race of humanoids found deep within the subterranean complex of tunnels known as the Underdark. Myconids form very close-knit communities among themselves, preferring to keep away from the outside world due to the potential danger they pose. This is due to the fact that their fungal make-up is known for providing regenerative properties, capable of restoring wounds within seconds of consumption.

Dragonkin are just as their name implies; they're descendants of a dragon, whether through ancestry or having a straight-up draconic parent. Overall, Dragonkin are treated depending on the particular type of draconic blood that flows through their veins, with Red dragons being revered as blessings, and Black dragons seen as abominations.

As a result, young myconids are actually very common prey for the denizens of the underdark, and are usually kept under close watch by their parents. Myconids grow to a rather large size that limits their movement, forcing them to be slow and steady at adulthood. They make up for this through their ridiculous strength and hardiness, capable of sustaining most wounds with ease.

Despite Dragonkin having such ties to a dragon, they don't necessarily carry the incredible powers that are normally associated with the beasts. Despite this, however, they're often hunted down in many countries due to the potential they carry.

Myconids are basically mushroom people, with rotund and pudgy builds complete with stubby arms and legs. Young Myconids are generally scrawnier, allowing them to run away from their predators easier. Due to their genderless nature, they find no need for clothing.
5+
For the most part, they resemble the base race of their non-draconic parent. The hints of their draconic bloodline varies a lot, some carrying large horns, others having scales or claws in certain places.

The select few Myconids lucky enough to have the ability to use druidism are known for being bioluminescent, releasing a blue light at their head. Druidic Myconids often have high status among Myconid society, and often lead their tribes through the Underdark.
