        ↪ if you were to look up 'sugar' in the dictionary, then you'd find the words 'gong meixiang' written in big bold letters. yes, this girl is sweet, probably the sweetest out of all the agents. she's a positive girl who gets excited over things like clothes and bubble tea. she's positive and radiates happiness, but not as much as WHISTLE. she's the type of agent who acts on impulse rather than having a detailed plan for everything which sometimes makes her and FOURFIVESECONDS clash. though sometimes that can be a good thing. she believes that it's better to just attack rather than thinking too long of a plan of attack. she's spontaneous, maybe a little wild and reckless, but don't let that fool you into thinking that she's harmless. she's still someone who won't hesitate to pull the trigger if necessary. sure, she does look like an airhead who cares about nothing but her looks, but this is where the saying 'there's more than meets the eye' is proven to be very accurate. meixiang is actually very strong and athletic and won't hesitate to throw a punch (or shoot you) if you really, really deserve it. some speculate that her typical college girl act is just for show, and that she's actually a cunning mastermind at heart (she doesn't deny this even though it's not entirely true). being an undercover agent means excelling at being someone else, which is why she is often referred to an excellent liar. and no matter how confusing she can be sometimes, it's no lie that she's blessed with features that might just be sculpted by aphrodite herself. the best trait of this girl is that she's always full of surprises. you never know if she's genuinely being nice or if it's just a ploy to manipulate you, if she actually means the compliment or if she's just saying it because it's what you want to hear. she's smarter than she lets you on, stronger than she lets you on. you look at her and you see rainbows and sunshine, but no matter how bright the days are there's always a storm right around the corner.

+       ↪ despite it being easy to befriend and talk to her, meixiang doesn't really let anyone get too close and personal with the exception of the other agents. she believes that the less they know the easier her life will be. most of the time, it seems like she doesn't care or she has no interest about anything other than herself, but this is just her way of being cautious. attachment, based on personal experience, really gets in the way. it's better to be safe than sorry, right? it's also no question how brave this girl is. i mean, with the spontaneous and borderline wild things she does sometimes, fear is not in meixiang's dictionary. she also hates (more than she hates dad jokes) showing vulnerability. looking weak is almost as bad as wearing a last season coat.

        ↪ meixiang was born in tianjing, china, but spent no more than 3 years in that country before moving to seoul, south korea. other than that, she lived in paris, france for four years starting from when she was 13 because her mother had work there for a while. it's how she picked up the language (and the fact that she picked it up so quickly is wow). you can say that she was born into a privileged family, and a very tight-knit one as well. her mother is one of seoul's most popular fashion designer⎯hence granting her perks of wearing the newest collections before it's in stores⎯and her dad is head of the police department. because of her father's work, meixiang got to experience firsthand the crime-fighting life at a young age, which probably what sparked her interest in the first place. she actually never expected herself to be a spy. but that being said, meixiang was recruited during her first year of college. she happened to be caught in the middle of a mugging. some random guy stole an old lady's purse. meixiang saw all of it, and she was the first and only one to chase the asshole down the street and give him a kick or two in the gut. luckily for her, jerry had witnessed the whole thing, and the rest is history.

        ↪ being the youngest (or one of the youngest if you use taehyung) of the bangtan unit, he's often babied and underestimated by everyone else, and he's undeniably annoyed by it. he's aggressive and defensive when it comes to that and is always walking around feeling like he has to make a name for himself, prove them that he's not a kid, y'know? though there's honestly nothing to prove. he's already a high-class agent, already one of the most skilled and strongest and the fact that he's achieved all of that while being the youngest member is just... holy shit? but still, he just wants his hyungs to back off. extremely defensive. always greedy, this boy. always trying to be better than everyone even himself (honestly? he doesn't give himself enough credit). he's loyal though. loves his job just as much as he loves his favorite manhwa. he sounds like a brat, doesn't he? well that's because he is. despite not wanting to be called a child, he still whines like one whenever he gets a mission that he doesn't like. but that aside, he's still practically a teenager–oops, i meant /very/ young adult. he plays video games in his free time, read comics (while doing situps, but whatever), and ogles every pretty girl he sees but never actually mustering up the courage to talk to them.
 
      ➝ HOW GOOD DO THEY WORK TOGETHER:
        ↪ oh damn, they'd probably be the hottest and sexiest unit ever if they were to be teamed up. with their strengths and skills, they'd be a hell of a force to be reckoned with. meixiang would be the one to take charge and he usually lets her give the orders because obeying them is what he's good at. they'd probably work together just fine if in full on business and spy mode, but outside of that? highly debatable. i mean, meixiang is only a little serious and uptight during missions, so whenever she's back to doing mundane activities that demeanor completely changes. she would be the one who would mess around more, play a little (a lot). whereas him, he's not so sure how to handle her sudden change in personality. and meixiang? she'll just continue to laugh until he passes out from frustration.

        ↪ there wasn't a lot that caught her eye when she first officially met him. she knew that he was skilled and strong and that he was still young. she thought that he was too... defensive over himself. he was cute though, cute in a way that he had a fresh baby face that might just pass off as innocent.

        ↪ oh, look at this pretty little thing, so pretty that hi might just⎯shit, did she just hit all of the targets in the center in the span of 2 seconds? in all honesty, he thought that she was pretty /and/ terrifying. constantly reminds himself not to get on her bad side. thinks that she's confusing and misleading as well because who the fuck smiles after they've landed a headshot on one of the practice dummies?

      ➝ HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM:
        ↪ she's more or less herself. she's honestly so random with him sometimes. an example would be suddenly jumping on his back and demanding a piggyback ride, much to his dismay. even though he broods and whines and pouts like a kid most of the time, she enjoys poking fun at him. every time he complains about something it makes him seem more of a bratty child rather than one of WOOHP's best agents. so because of that, she teases him about being the youngest all the time (even though she's only two years older). she jokingly flirts with him a lot whenever they see each other outside of the WOOHP headquarters. she doesn't mean it though, just likes seeing him red and flustered. this eventually carries on until she has actual feelings for him, this little crush that has her tripping on air. she's obviously in denial about it and can't help but start to distance herself from him and try to keep things for business purposes only. it doesn't really work. meixiang, admittedly, grew fond of him much more than she would've liked.
 
      ➝ HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER:
        ↪ he doesn't really know what to make of her. she's kind of scary, in the most subtle way. her smile is sweet, but judging from the way she fights he knows that she can break his neck if she wants to. because of that, he's wary, but it's kind of hard to maintain an act when she provokes him a lot. yes, her little comments and shameless flirting is something he hates, and only because it makes him vulnerable. it's distracting, honestly (oh, and lets just say there's this one time that meixiang called him baby, making him have an internal fit). most of the time he tries to maintain a tough and manly image, but whenever she's around his mushy side comes out. no, mushy wouldn't be the right adjective. just not-agent-appropriate, if you know what i mean? (she makes him feel like a boy in his late teens again).

        ↪ SEO AREUM: meixiang's "rival". not so much of a rival really, since she's the one who makes it her job on bitching at meixiang every time they run into each other for no reason at all. though it's kind of obvious that areum's jealous. jealous that she's close with the guy who areum has her eyes on (after jeon enrolls at the uni). jealous of meixiang's popularity, her clothes, even her mother. what's so annoying is that meixiang has never done anything to her. the girl literally hates meixiang for breathing. meixiang doesn't let it get to her too much for she has way more important things to worry about, but sometimes areum gets sOOOO frustrating that she brings her spy essentials into the picture and slash areum's tires with her laser lipstick or something.
        ↪ PARK INHO:  inho was the target of one of meixiang's failed missions. to be more precise, the /son/ of the actual target. lets just say that the mission involved taking down a company (and its leader) thats producing illegal stuff (weaponry or gass or smth) from the inside. meixiang had to go undercover and become a newbie employee there for a while and she met inho, who she didn't know was the leader's son. yeah so they become buddies and shit but soon inho being the smartass that he is found out that meixiang was from WOOHP which such a bummer because the dude was starting to like her yanno and so he ordered an arrest yeah guards kind of barged into her apartment (she lived somewhere else for the sake of the mission). she got away but the company relocated and inho and his bitchass dad went off the radar. it was one of the many failed missions but it's her most hated one because being friends with inho made her bring her guard down. she was conversing with the enemy the whole time and she didn't realize. but i think it's safe to say that meixiang hates him more than he hates her. (meixiang made a vow to chop off his dick before she dies).
