-A: Typically I don't turn my mic on until I have a run going, i.e. have a good Totodile, as it gets tedious to talk during the resetting phase (and I'm usually doing something else at the same time). This also doubles as a good check for you as a viewer, it means if you here me start talking, a run has started!

 A: No, this isn't fast at all lol. Just an alternate Pokemon run.

-A: Because the Totodile evolution family is the best for the speedrun, without it, my time would not be nearly as fast.
+A: Two main reasons, 1) I got the itch to run Crystal again, but the current route is so boring and unfun, it really put me off. This ends up being a bit different and fun, and got to do some actual routing too, which always makes it more rewarding
 2) I think it could be a good idea for the PSR marathon. Last year we had zero Johto submissions, and I think this is the type of thing I could submit for it.
-Q: Do you really need to use Totodile specifically, couldn't you use some other Pokemon?

-Q: Why did you keep reseting after getting Totodile?

-A: If it looks like there is no reason, it's generally because my stats were bad. I need to have great DVs in attack and special stats otherwise I can not complete the run fast enough

-A: I check my stats as soon as I can, because it takes too long to wait until I level up. At level 5 I will reset unless my attack is 12 or 13 and my special defense is 11 and my speed is 10 (might run with 9 speed if 12 Defense and/or 13 attack. Will also run 10 Special Att/def if 13 Att & 10 Speed)

-A: Totodile was a female, so it's attack DV was 0 or 1, aka the worst.
+A: Uhh...all of them? Lmao, it's pretty bad. It falls apart to any water/grass attack, and a fair amount of trainers have them. Almost every gym leader is a rough ride. The worst fights for him, I'd say, are Chuck, Clair, and Lance.
 
-Q: About what are the chances of getting a Totodile with stats you will keep?

-A: I will keep about 1 in 8 Totodiles.
+A: No idea what a good time would look like. But I'm also not gonna grind for a good time, just finish 1, maybe 2 runs and be happy.
 
-Q: Why do you set the time around 5:30pm?

-A: It keeps the game at day for Route 32, which gives a higher chance of Bellsprout, but then turns to night before Ilex forest so I can catch a Oddish/Paras there in case I still don't have a Cut slave.
