 [u][b]Personality:[/b][/u] A very outgoing personality, Tony is often the life of a party.  Coupled with his high intelligence, Tony does tend to throw his weight around, in order to feed his ego.  However, with recent events involving the Chitauri and the Extremis incidents, Tony has begun to backtrack and realize that ego only takes a person so far.
 
 He has previously shown self-destructive aspects of his personality, especially when he was suffering from palladium poisoning, but these self-destructive tendencies have subsided.
 
 He often finds friendship with those of great intellect, as he has shown with his camradirie with Bruce Banner.  He is also often happiest when he is trying to solve problems, mostly those of a scientific nature.
 
 While he was initially a introvert regarding his feelings, ever since he began a long-term relationship with Pepper Potts, he has shown to grow more open to sharing his feelings with her.
 
 Ever since the Chirauti invasion, he's been dealing with feeling of inadequacy in regards to protecting those that he cares for.  This led him into the creation of numerous new suits and the now defunct 'Iron Legion'.  While he believed that he didn't have to worry about such problems anymore, the recents attacks by these 'Sirens' have resulted in him working on more new technology, and isolating himself from the world.

 - Technological aptitude: A mechanical genius, he is capable of constructing highly  advanced technology with minimal problems.

 [u][b]Weapons:[/b][/u]  Iron Man Armor
 
 Version - Mark 43 (Nicknames:  Reboot, Frankenstein)
 
 Origin:  A few months after the events of Iron Man 3, Tony found himself in the uneviable position of bystander as his ladyfriend, Pepper Potts, is repeatedly assailed by a small group of people with 'other-worldly' abilities.  Realizing that he needs to suit up again, he 'acquires' the "Whiplash MK 1" harness that Ivan Vanko created and utilized at Monaco.  Working around that base, and finding hard copies of older suit model schematics, he began to craft a new cutting edge suit, the Mark 43, or as he calls it, his 'Reboot' or 'Frankenstein' suit.
 
 Characteristics:  The Mark 43 is, in Tony's words, "The Frankenstein suit".  This means that he has taken numerous aspects of prior suits and adapted them into this new model.  Certain models have stronger representation in the Mark 43, including the Gemini, Shotgun, Heartbreaker, and Silver Centurion suits, while retaining the look of a modified Mark VII chassis.
 
 Capabilities:  The Mark 43 is an amalgamation of numerous prior suits, allowing for a range of skills and traits.
 
 	-Space Travel - Taken from the Gemini suit, the Mk 43 is capable of use in the confines of space.  The suit is able to be hermetically sealed with enough oxygen for 3 weeks, and to allow for movement in the vacuum of space, the suit also utilizes a retractable booster pack and sets of Zero-G manuvering thrusters.
 	-Centralized Magnetic Field - Adapted from the Silver Centurion suit, the Mk 43 is able to generate a small magnetic field around itself.  The field's polarity can be switched, so that ferrous objects can be either attracted or repelled.
 	-XL RT Node - Originally found in the Heartbreaker armor, the MK 43 has an enlarged Repulsor Tech Node centralized on the chest.  This RT Node's apeture can be widened or narrowed, allowing for a range of Unibeam capabilities, from wide dispersal to deep penetration.
 	-Hyper Velocity - First utilized in the Shotgun armor, the Mk 43 is capable of exceeding the speed of sound.  Initial tests show that while it is not as fast as the Shotgun, it is still capable of reaching speeds of Mach 3.
 	-Armaments - While the Mk 43 maintains the standard RT nodes in the chest and palms, it also utilizes lasers that draw on Arc Reactor energy for use, like the Mk VII.  It also contains a set of micro-missile batteries that are attached to the booster pack.
 	-Modular Kitting - A particularly new aspect to his suits, Tony has built the Mk 43 to be easily upgradable with outside pieces of technology, making it highly modular.  The major points of modularity are on the shoulders, wrists and torso.
 
 
 
 Version - Mark 44  (Nickname:  Ghost, Capser)
 
 Origin:  After creating the Frankenstein suit, Tony realized that having a suit oriented solely for combat purposes would be problematic, especially in regards to quick access into the suit.  To that end, he began to work along the lines of his Mark V Suitcase suit, a suit that would be streamlined, readily accessible, and quick to put on.  This led to the creation of the Mk 44, or the Casper.
 
 
 Characteristics:  Much more streamlined than the Mk. 43, the Casper harkens back to the Suitcase model, utilizing an all-in-one chassis and undersuit held within a metallic backpack.  Utilizing a silver and copper tinting, it lacks all of the bells and whistles of the more bulky models, preferring speed and stealth over firepower.
 
 Capabilities:  Unlike the Mk 43, which is meant to be a more all-purpose suit, the Mk. 44 is more specialized and attuned to quick use, stealth and speed.
 
 	-RT Nodes - Much like the Mk. 2 and up, the Mk. 44 utilizes Repulsor Tech nodes at both the hands and feet, providing flight and stablization, as well as his only means of range weaponry.
 	-Retro-Reflective Paneling - Utilized from the latest in SHIELD technology, the Mk. 44 is capable of going light-reflective, basically turning him invisible to standard sight.  However, the suit generates a large thermal reading, making it easy to pick up in infrared.
 	-Phase-Shift Technology - A prototype technology that was inspired by his encounters with the 'Sirens', Tony developed this in order to rapidly infiltrate high risk and low-tech areas.  However, the ability to use it for extended periods of time is not possible, as it rapidly drains Arc Reactor power.
 	-Slam-Hack Systems - Created as an intelligent universal hacking system by Tony, the Slam-Hack is meant to analyze protective systems and create ways to counteract their programming, allowing him to control those systems.
 
 [u][b]Equipment:[/u][/b] Holotop Computer:  A personal creation of his, the Holotop is Tony's personal digital workshop, complete with state-of-the-art CAD programming, including real-time interactive tactile manipulation.  Brought with him during his arrival, the item is a small digital mesh that projects the project in a fully inteactive 3D holographic workspace.

 [u][b]History:[/b][/u] Tony Stark was the son of Howard Stark, one of the world's  foremost weapon developers.  A genius and master weapon crafter in his own time, he  was in Afghanistan promoting one of his newest weapons when he was attacked.   Severely wounded, he was forced to create weapons for a group of mercenaries known as the Ten Rings.  Guided by a fellow prisoner, Yinsen, he instead secretly crafted himself a suit of  armor and made good on his escape, but not without Yinsen's death on his conscious, and losing the first armor after his escape.
 
 After returning home, he has expanded on his work, eventually creating newer, more  advanced power armors for personal use, and halting the development of weapons by  Stark Enterprises in exchange for Arc Reactor technology for clean energy.   Eventually, his original work got acquired by Obadiah Stane, a senior member of Stark Industries and priorly once his mentor, who despised Tony's new philanthropic direction for Stark Industries.  Using the armor, Stane copied Stark's Arc Reactor technology, and made powerhouse suit on his own, called the Iron Monger.  However, Tony still won out.  The day after defeating Stane, Tony revealed his identity to  the world with four words.  "I am Iron Man."
 
 More time passed, and he soon found himself being poisoned by the palladium core in the very same Arc Reactor that he created to keep his heart running.  Not long after  finding out his condition, he soon found himself challenged by one Ivan Vanko, who had also created his own version of an Arc Reactor to power his "Whiplash" armor.   Eventually, Stark found a way to cure his condition with aid from S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and undercover operative Natasha Romanov, known as the Black Widow, and fight off Vanko, as well as outing wealthy industrialist Justin Hammer as the villain's backer, along side one of his close friends, James Rhodes, who  wears his own Mark II power armor, retrofitted into the War Machine model.
 
 After Vanko's defeat, he had to contend with more forces attempting to craft their  own versions of power armor, the closest being the Crimson Dynamo created by A.I.M. for use by one General Shalatov.  After battling Shalatov and his backer, one Kearson DeWitt, he moved onto new lines of work.
 
 As the consultant for Director Nick Fury and his Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.), he was told to meet with one General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross about a potential super powered government agent known as Emil "The Abomination" Blonsky, which the World Security Council, higher officers in  charge of S.H.I.E.L.D., wanted to employ in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s "Avengers Initiative".  Due to being sent in by the organization instead of someone more attuned to and agreeable with authority, Stark managed to completely sabotage the meeting by accident  (S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intention), "offending the general to his very core" and causing him  to refuse to release the Abomination, necessitating that S.H.I.E.L.D. find radiology expert Doctor Bruce Banner, the more vilified "Hulk", instead to join them.  Unfortunately, as a result of this solution, official backing of the Avengers Initiative was shut down due to lack of faith in the project.
 
 (WARNING:  The next few paragraphs contains spoilers for the movies 'The Avengers'  and 'Iron Man 3', so read at your own peril.)
 
 Some time after Stark had constructed what was to be a beacon of self-sustaining clean energy in Stark Tower, powered by an Arc Reactor.  It is during this that he once again meets with Phil Coulson, an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., who tells him that the Avengers Initiative has been reactivated.  Arriving in Germany, Stark is an essential part, along with Captain America, of the detainment of the Asgardian, Loki, but not without an attack by Loki's half-brother, Thor, who wishes to return Loki to Asgard to face punishment.  Arriving back on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier, he begins to work alongside Dr. Bruce Banner to attempt to find the Tesseract, an Asgardian artifact with potentially unlimited  energy, all the while trying to find out the dirty secrets that S.H.I.E.L.D. is  hiding.
 
 After subtle manipulations by Loki that led to his escape, Stark is able to save the  Helicarrier from crashing, but not without severe damage to his Mark VI armor and  learning of Agent Coulson's death.  Figuring out where Loki is heading next , he repairs his armor and returns to Stark Tower, finding that the Tesseract is being  used to create an interdimensional wormhole.  Confronting Loki without his Mark VI armor, he is there when the wormhole opens, releasing the alien army of the Chitauri upon Earth.   Donning the prototype Mark VII, he goes into battle, alongside fellow heroes Thor, Captain  America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Bruce Banner, who had transformed into the Hulk.   Fighting off waves of Chitauri, he is able to divert a nuclear strike on Midtown  Manhattan, flying through the wormhole and sending the nuke into the Chitauri Warship, ending the invasion.  Luckily, Tony fell back to Earth just before the wormhole closed, but not without scars.
 
 After the invasion and near death experience battling the Chitauri, Stark lapses into  a reclusive state, focusing on creating numerous variants of his Iron Man armor, over thirty in a period of a few short months.  With his relationship with Pepper Potts strained, it is during this time that a new foe, known as the terrorist Mandarin, reveals himself to be both taking responsibility for several attacks as well as being the leader of the same terrorist group that had captured Tony before, the Ten Rings.  After an attack on his chauffer and friend, Happy Hogan, Tony publicly calls out the Mandarin, which leads to the destruction of his Malibu home.
 
 Awakening in a rural Tennesse town, Tony is able to fight off a pair of soldiers treated with an experimental technology-based performance booster called Extremis.   Eventually arriving at the Mandarin's home, he finds that the man who called himself  the Mandarin was a face man for a man by the name of Aldrich Killian, a genius inventor who hated Stark for blowing off his ideas years ago.  He had abducted both Pepper Potts and the President, as well as stolen Rhodey's new "Iron Patriot" armor.  Racing to save both, he is able to do so, but not before Pepper is infected with Extremis.  After the battle, he promises to work on his relationship with Pepper, and proves this by destroying his various Iron Man suits, curing Pepper of Extremis, and after having surgery that removed the shrapnel from his heart, throws his personal arc reactor into the ocean.  However, in spite of this, he vows that he will always be Iron Man.
 
 Months after this incident, both Stark and Pepper were repeatedly assailed by a group of women with other-worldly powers.  Seeing that they specifically targeted Pepper, and how they openly mocked him, caused Tony to grow concerned enough to go back into creating a new set of suits, this time wanting to seek out these 'Sirens', becoming more pro-active.  Tracking after these women, he is pulled through a small dark corridor and deposited, confused, in Twilight Town.

 He doesn't want to hear her, but he can't help but hear her.
 
 "I know you're here, Tony."
 
 Of course she does.  Where else would he go in order to escape?  Hearing tell-tale beeping of the secutiry panel, he pushes himself away from the table and stands up.
 
 "Tony, what are you..."  Pepper's words pause in her throat as she sees Tony, disheveled, eyes baggy and tired, a slight aura of stink surrounding him like a halo... and behind him, something that makes her own eyes water with indignation.  "Tony, I thought you were done with this."
 
 "Well, so was I."  Tony Stark wipes his eyes with the heels of his hands.  Seeing Pepper walk over, he waits.  [i]Three, two...[/i]
 
 "Didn't you say you got rid of everything?"
 
 "I did.  I didn't have this."  Tony moves to the side, revealing the full extent of the work:  A basic exoskeletal harness with two tendtrils located near the hands.  "Was a pain to get from SHIELD."
 
 "You stole this from SHIELD?"  Pepper's face shows much more shock, and an even deeper sense of indignation.  "Are you insane!?"
 
 "No.  What's insane is me standing to the side while people I know and care about are getting threatened and hurt, just because I freaked out."  Tony turns around and continues to work, scanning the suit into his Holotop.  "This is being practical."
 
 "This isn't practical, Tony.  You're back-pedaling.  You're retreating, just like..."  She pauses, unable to speak what was next.
 
 "Like the Invasion, I know.  You think I don't know that?"  Tony turns around to face her.  "This isn't going to be like last time, though.  I'm not going to be solely reactive.  I'm going full-force, no holds barred.  Balls to the wall."  Swallowing, he catches his breath.  "In order to do that, though, I need to back-track.  I had the hard blueprints, but I need a good base to start from.  Vanko's work's crude, but it'll suffice."
 
 "Tony...  You don't need to do this."
 
-"Really?  Then why were those ladies targeting you?  Why did they taunt me?"  Tony sits down.  "It's pretty clear that they're doing this on purpose.  They want me back in the game."  Pressing a nearby button, a holographic representation of Vanko's harness is projected.  "It'd be rude if I didn't accept the invite."  With that, begins the layout for his next big project.
