| - | There are three gods that have ascended into Godhood; none of the three are quite so...odd as Rath, who became a God through a simple drunken bet. Once a mercenary with ill-reputation, Rath didn't really get along with most of his employers, as he believed that no man should be given power over another, no matter the circumstances. As a result, he'd often quit or leave his job rather than compromise his ideals. The fact the man was drunk through most of his conversations didn't help either...until he made his fabled pilgrimage, of course. |
| + | Possessing nigh-omnipotent power, Helvian is known to be arguably one of the most powerful deities within the Pantheon. This power and knowledge, however, is far too much for his mind to comprehend. |

| - | One day, Rath was heavily inebriated, and on this day had decided to make the drunken bet of surviving the exposure of the Manastream. Not quite realizing the fact that most die within minutes of stepping near it, he instead decided to do the exact same thing that Helvian did: Hop right into the Manastream. |
| + | Helvian was once a mortal man that absolutely loved magic. A great scholar that lived within what is now Malibor, Helvian eventually became a renown Archmage that served the king directly. Eventually, however, he grew weary of this job and instead pursued something else; the Manastream. Within several weeks of studying, he and his family had moved off to the Sithran isles to grow closer to the stream, where he may freely study it from a safe distance. It wasn't until two years after the death of his wife that he decided to make the legendary pilgrimage straight onto the Manastream itself. |

| - | Spheres of Influence: Freedom and Ale |
| + | When Helvian had finished his pilgrimage and stood before the greatness of the Manastream, he had decided to do something that shocked the few survivors of his entourage. He leaped straight into the Abyss, only to find that the great power of the Manastream had both fueled him into divinity yet shattered his mind. |

| Duke of Deuvenesse: Helvian rarely speaks or interacts with anything outside of Deuvenesse. Since his rise into the pantheon, Amelia has constructed him his own personal archive and repository for magical knowledge, where he may spend the rest of his godhood studying.
| - | Helvian: Helvian and Rath get along very well, sharing overall the same ideals, were it not for Helvians capricious nature. The two gods are also able to relate to one another due to both being ascended, as opposed to born. |

| + | Rath: The two share very similar ideals, believing that everything should be free from the bindings of others. His capricious whims, however, tends to butt heads with the Drunken Hero. |
| ||
| Natinatara: Helvian has a fascination with the Maid of Ash, as she's the only deity within the Pantheon (besides Amelia) that possesses knowledge beyond even his grasp.

| - | While Rath doesn't have any actual churches attributed directly to him, shrines or places of worship can be found in various taverns or inns. Most of his clergy consists of adventurers that prefer to live life on the road, and as a result mercenary or adventurer guilds will often be dedicated to him. |

| Churches and Clergy | |
| - | Followers of Rath just want to enjoy the simple things of life. They don't want to be bound by harsh laws, and simply wish to be left to their own devices. It should be noted that while Rath's faith enjoys a good drink, they do know the fine line between being merry or abusing it to a certain point. |

| Temples or places of worship come in all shapes and sizes; be it spiraling wizard towers or, in the case of Eris, massive palaces. Whatever the case, all these places usually contain some sort of mentor or teacher that is capable of helping young apprentices or newly converted worshipers hone their magic. Often times, a dedicated shrine will contain several stages and specially designed rings to show their magic off to the public.
| ||
| Helvian is worshiped by all sorts of wizards, and anyone with an interest in the advancement of magic at least pay him lip service in some shape way or form. Rank within his clergy is determined by magical knowledge and power, but this varies depending on the temples. Some may be more malevolent in nature, with dedication towards the dangerous side of magic, while others will be more benign, simply seeking to advance the technology and humanity as a whole with the use of magic.
| ||
| - | Rath doesn't use books. He does have a few well-known lines of wisdom, however, which are sometimes posted up on plaques or repeated by clerics. |
| + | |
| ||
| Just about every book that teaches magic is considered a holy text to Helvian's worshipers.
| ||
| The Book of Magic: A convoluted grimoire containing risks of magic, basic spells, and Helvian's tale of ascension. The text is relatively hard to read, even for high ranking sorcerers.
| ||
| - | Save for his trusty flagon, none. |

| Eye of Destruction: Helvian's personal gigantic text book. All his knowledge was compounded into this single book, which is capable of manipulating the very weather itself.
| - | General Partying: Celebration is a very key component to Rath's faith. To them, there's almost always a reason to celebrate something; that being said, there's still a notable holiday to the faith. |

| - | Ascension day: Though the date of Rath's actual ascension is long forgotten, the 4th day Marei is used to celebrate his month. During this time, followers parade through their town, while local breweries will often provide free samplings to the public. |
| + | Ascension day: Though the date of Helvian's actual ascension is long forgotten, it is celebrated on the 1st day of Helvia. Worshipers have a bit of a talent show between each other, where rival mages have public duels to show off their abilities. |
