Adding new timing comparison for playing on Twilight on a 3DS to test its viability for Emu boards for DS Pokemon games.

The two emulators for DS games being considered for submissions are DeSmuME (0.9.11) and MelonDS. The current Emulator allowed is DeSmuME (0.9.11)

Remember of course that currently both Melon and Desmume are allowed, along with Flash Carts and Repro. But WiiUVC injection is not.

From the timing below, you will see that MelonDS performs more closely to console, however is still faster.

MelonDS requires the user to get DS firmware themselves in order to run.

MelonDS does not natively support changing the time within the program itself (this can be done in DeSmuME by using the "record movie" function to start at a specific time/date). This means in order to set the date to a specific time, the user must open it through an external program (such as RunAsDate), or manually change the clock on their computer each time they wish to change the time.

The method for WiiU VC is traditionally not allowed, as the game was not actually released for the WiiU Virtual Console. It requires an injection of the rom to play through the virtual console itself. It is being considered however, to allow an alternative for those who may not be able to capture a DS, nor be able to capture an emulator (not everyone has a PC capable of doing so.)

Additionally, Soft Resetting seems to be *really* slow with Twilight, unless I've missed something it seems to take almost an extra 15 seconds to initialise.
