He reaches Azumi and meets the boat captain, Flora, who shows that Isaac, Cheryl, and the other remaining survivors (in various states of a lack of quality) held off the remaining members of the gang to keep them from getting on the boat, including lopping off weapon hands or forcing surrenders. Greg decides to stay behind and says goodbye, citing that he still needs to find his wife and son. He also states that he intends to search for Techie since she was still out there. Kitten gives him her doll so he would give it to Naito. Fic ends with the recorder being turned off, revealing Kyn who cries in her arms and his things spread out, including the doll Kitten had given him.
