13 | + | Background: Phil Webb never really had an easy life; as he was more or less abandoned by his father and mother at an incredibly young age. When Phil was born, his father had gone out on an adventure to search for something to bring back to their humble queen. But alas, his father never returned, and come the fifth year, he was left to live on the ol' streets to fend for himself, as his mother simply could not, would not support the boy. |

15 | Phil robbed and stole for most of his life, living by others. In time though, he learned a few new tricks, that is, until he spent most of his time as a snake oil salesman, promising obscene remedies in exchange for ridiculous products. Phil granted an assortment of goods to others, offering eternal youth in the form of his bottled venom at first. These 'elixirs of immortality' eventually lured the attentions of an unsavory serpent that called himself 'Shallow Sam', for his knowledge of 'the underground'. Sam offered actual tonics for immortality. Great power for Phil to make use of, rather than just be left on the streets. | |

17 | Not wanting to invest any money, Phil made that fact perfectly clear, already suspicious in thinking that this man was trying to out scam the scammer. Phil followed him off to a far away place. And that's where Shallow Sam taught him the respectable art of necromancy, showing him the great power one could receive from a certain patron. | |
