+BACKGROUND » born and raised in jeju city, yehwa grew up in a household without male influence and completely under her mother's care. before she could even walk, it had been ingrained into her that she couldn't be anything less than perfect. her mother grew up unnoticed, and when she finally had gotten a husband, he left without a trace when discovering she was pregnant, using the excuse that "he wasn't ready for a baby." she didn't want her daughter to grow up neglected just like she was, and as a result ended up going overboard,,, a lot,,, when trying to make sure she would be ideal to their society. the minute she could walk and talk, yehwa was being tutored by the most prestigious teachers, and taught sports by the best instructors. her mother always emphasized staying thin, and even had her measure her weight weekly -- if it was over a certain amount, her training would be bumped up rigorously. she "learned" early on that skipping a few meals was necessary if she didn't want to be overweight. when she started school, her mother wasn't content unless she was ranked #1 in her class. eventually, her life started to show a pattern -- wake up, go to school, study and do homework, practice swimming / whatever sport she was trying at the moment, shower, and sleep. the repetition and continued unhappiness from her mother sort of pushed yehwa into a sort of depression. she hated her mom, but she loved her; on one hand, she was the lady who raised her with her own bare hands, and she only wanted the best for her daughter, and on the other hand, she treated her like a machine that would never break (only bend) until she reached utmost perfection. unfortunately, that wasn't true, and yehwa did break -- she had enough of her mother, and ran away from home to stay with one of her close friends. eventually, her and her mother worked out a "compromise" but the damage was already done. she finally wasn't forced to keep up her grades, or her figure, or anything, and yehwa took advantage, practically becoming a recluse as a result. one day, though, when out on an errand, she ran into a cute guy who made her want to smile because of how radiant his smile was. they started dating and she became happier than she had in her whole life, and her mother was satisfied that yehwa wasn't rejected like she had been at her age. yehwa later moved away to seoul for school, but the relationship continued despite the distance.

+PERSONALITY » they say the shorter you are, the closer you are to satan -- yehwa is the perfect example that this saying isn't always true. towering over most of her friends, she's one of the tallest girls you'll ever meet, and one of the bitchiest too. she's intimidating in every way -- height, stature, beauty, and the list could go on, but the scariest thing about her is her glare. she's the type who has resting bitch face, except hers is probably the most extreme case. her vocabulary basically only consists of shit, fuck, and pussy ass bitch, and she isn't afraid to shout it to the world. yehwa's the type of person who hates going out in public, and says that she doesn't give a shit about how people see her when it couldn't be more false. she's extremely insecure, and hates the standards and gender roles imposed by society. she can't stand misogyny, and is the rare feminist found in a the sexist society of korea. underneath her hard exterior and foulmouthed comments is a girl who just wants to be loved. she struggles with her body image, and often questions whether or not people like her. she has a horrible habit of second guessing herself, and almost anything she does is to make people think better of her. yehwa's very sensitive although she'll never show it, and her biggest fear is being abandoned by those she loves.

 meeting ; they don't actually meet until after the group of them have been at the hotel for a lil bit. its right after seokmin's like "bye bitch!!" to her, and all she wants is to drown her sorrows with alcohol. so, she goes to the hotel bar and orders shot... after shot... after shot... and really doesn't want to leave, half because she's scared she'll see seokmin on her way back to her room, and half because woW is it just her or is that bartender getting more and more attractive as time passes? she wouldn't mind going back to her room if he went with her...

 beg ; when they meet again (after she's sober) she's very standoffish, and doesn't want to socialize with him -- she just wants him to give her the drinks and leave her alone. but, when she gets a bit tipsy, he starts to tease her about how she is when she's drunk, and she gets really really whiney. this is where their relationship starts, and he gets to know her a lot while her guard is down and she doesn't remember anything she's saying. whenever they're around each other and she's drunk, she's a bit whiney but v truthful about anything and everything and he finds it amusing. when she's sober, though, she's veryveryvery bitchy and defensive, which he finds as entertaining if not more than when she's drunk. he LOVES to mess with her in a playful way, and her extreme reactions (eg. stfu or i will kill u) only goad him on, but his initial reason for even bothering her in the first place is because he was interested about what in the world could've made her drink so much? she comes back to the bar often, but only for the drinks (it has nothing to do with the bartender who serves her)
 mid ; at this point, his annoying antics have finally worn her down (sort of) and her now almost daily retreats to the bar are no longer to drink, but to actually sit in his company,,, although she would never ever admit to something as outrageous as that. he's glad that she's coming of her own accord (and has actually stopped drinking herself into oblivion... because he might be a bartender, but he doesn't want his prettiest customer to die of alcohol poisoning.) at first, she comes under the pretense of trying to find a quiet place, away from people, where she can read her book, but that claim is useless because a) she doesn't like reading, and b) who in the world would go to the bar to read? eventually, she drops that act and "grudgingly" makes conversation with him, and they get closer and closer. one day, though, she comes in and starts ordering drinks like she did on the first night. at first, he wants to stop her after the second one, but when she flashes him her piercing glare™, he cowardly keeps giving them to her. after she's drunk enough, he manages to weasel out of her that she got into a big fight with one of her best friends and just wants to drown her sorrows once again. additionally, she explains what the fight was about, and that she kept talking to him because he was nice and shit, plus when she was with him she actually managed to stop thinking about seokmin. his first instinct when he hears what one of his friends did to her is to go and beat the fuck out of him. but then, she drops another bomb and tells him that its not seokmin's fault they broke up and is like "also i got some depression u lil bitch so stay right here and don't hurt him thank" and then the next day, he asks her if she regrets telling him and it takes her a while to answer but then she's like,,, no and then they're extra close and shit
