| 3 | Personas are manifestations of an individual's personality, taking the form of a mythological entity. 22 categories of Personas have been discovered, based around the Major Arcana of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck. Personas protect their user like a guardian and are capable of performing magic and superhuman feats. If you have ever read Part 3 and later of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, this may sound a bit familiar. | |

| 5 | Personas in this quest have six main attributes: | |

| 7 | STRENGTH (STR): A measurement of the Persona’s physical abilities. | |
| 8 | ENDURANCE (END): A measurement of the Persona’s withstand damages and attacks. Affects maximum stamina and vitality. Also gauges the effectiveness of status impairments. | |
| 9 | MAGIC POTENTIAL (MAG): Measurement of how well the Persona can utilize magic. Affects maximum amount of mana and magic resistance as well. | |
| 10 | AGILITY (AGL): Measurement of the Persona’s quickness and performance speed. | |
| 11 | LUCK (LCK): Measurement of success and failure through chance. A Persona with a high luck will find the winds of fate flowing in its direction. Of course, it is ill-advised to rely solely on luck. | |
| 12 | DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL (DEV): Measurement of how well the Persona will grow and develop. A high development potential stat will increase the rate at which skills are learned and the chances of evolution. | |

| 14 | These attributes are measured using a letter system. From highest to lowest: S+, S, A, B, C, D, E. Positive and negative modifiers (e.g. A+, B-) also apply, except for the S+ rank. | |

| 16 | The six attributes are then tallied together and an OVERALL RANK is calculated. Additional factors like versatility, stability and innate resistances are also taken into account. Society, in fact, uses the Overall Rank to categorize individual Persona users. The higher the rank, the better the user is regarded. There's a bunch of stuff I could write about this, but I'll save that for a later date. | |
