 Q: What is this?
-A: Doing a glitchless speedrun with Rocky, the in-game traded Onix in Violet City.

 Q: Why are you doing this then?
-A: Two main reasons, 1) I got the itch to run Crystal again, but the current route is so boring and unfun, it really put me off. This ends up being a bit different and fun, and got to do some actual routing too, which always makes it more rewarding
+A: After doing Rocky in Crystal, I've very much liked the idea of doing some Alt Poke runs, moreso than anything else so I can do some good routing, which I really enjoy. I also like the idea of In-Game traded pokes, but there aren't too many that are early enough in the game and interesting enough to run with.
-2) I think it could be a good idea for the PSR marathon. Last year we had zero Johto submissions, and I think this is the type of thing I could submit for it.
+Makit however, fulfils all of those criteria, so thought I'd give him a whirl. (the only other one aside from Rocky is Kazza in Sinnoh, which I'll probably do at some point too...)
 
 Q: What are you playing on, it is emulator?
-A: No, I play on a Gamecube through a Gameboy Player using a Gameboy SP as a controller.

-A: I'll get a Poliwag before Violet as well (Need an early one for Surf)
+A: Luckily, the Makit comes with perfect Attack every time (Brave Nature, 31 Att IV). While speed IV matters a lot, anything is runnable, so I'll just take whatever.

-A: Uhh...all of them? Lmao, it's pretty bad. It falls apart to any water/grass attack, and a fair amount of trainers have them. Almost every gym leader is a rough ride. The worst fights for him, I'd say, are Chuck, Clair, and Lance.
+A: The only problem Makit really has is that it's *extremely* slow. As a result it has a general accumulation of stuff by getting outsped by most everything. Wattson is probably the hardest fight if you don't have really good speed, but everything around that area can do you in.
 
 Q: What's your aim time?
-A: No idea what a good time would look like. But I'm also not gonna grind for a good time, just finish 1, maybe 2 runs and be happy.

I think it might actually be possible to beat my regular PB for this game though, lol (I only did like 2 runs of that, and they were less than a week after the game released, so obviously with a scratchy route)

 Q: Are you gonna use Makit for the whole game?
-A: Because she's cute :3
+A: I will switch to Kyogre for the end. I considered taking Makit the whole way, but you're basically forced to catch Kyogre anyway and the end with Makit just isn't fun. But I am gonna use Makit for the section you usually do with Lati@s.
