+BACKGROUND | nari was born as the only child to a couple in namyangju. for the first 8 years of her life they could've been considered just like any other average happy family but after that everything seems to have gone downhill. nari's father lost his job and had started gambling and drink, and on top of that her mother's health started to decline so money was tight. while her father didn't abuse her or her mum, anyone could tell that the marriage was being strained. nari began to hate her father for making her mother suffer so much and it only got worse when his father ran away with another woman after taking the money that her mother had saved for nari's future schooling to pay for his debts. nari hated the hardship that she went through because of money and made a goal to make her mother's life easier. as soon as she was old enough she took part time jobs so that she could try help her mum make enough money for both of them. but when she was in high school, she found that her looks and connections could get her things. when puberty hit her at the end of high school, she found that a lot of guys found her attractive and she also became quite popular so she used that to her advantage to get things. at first it was just basic drinks or snacks from the school cafeteria and then it got larger to buying her school books for her. none of the girls liked her for it causing her to not make many friends but it helped with her financial problems. despite her manipulativeness, nari never forgot her dream of making her mother and her life better, and studied hard to get into college. and although she swore she would stop using people for their money, it continued even to her college life because no one ever told her that college would be so damn expensive. so she basically went through boys like tissues, she never stayed with them too long because she didn't want to use them too much or it would eat away her at her conscience and her friendships with girls were mostly based around what parties and people they would her get connected to.

+	nari is ambitious and smart. she knows what she wants and will do anything to get it. she's also very tough in the way that despite what people may call her such as 'gold digger' or 'slut' despite only having sex with one or two of them, she doesn't care what they think or say because she doesn't care about those people. if she sets her eyes on something or someone, nothing will get in her way and that's probably how she got into college in the first place despite not being naturally smart. she flirts with any guy as long as she knows that she can use them to get money. she's a person that is quite hard to get to know because she doesn't really talk about herself and is always in deep thought. she may seem quite heartless just using people but she does have a conscience that she prefers not to think about. she's fiercely loyal and protective about those that she truly cares about which is only her mum. she doesn't think too highly of guys because a lot of them only like her for her appearance and her father was a great example that true love doesn't exist. although she'd never admit it, there is still something in her that wants to believe that there is true love out there and that love isn't built on money. she's quite cynical about people and often think the worst of them until they prove themselves otherwise. she's very closed off but that's only to help her protect herself.

 HOW YOU MET | nari went to a party with a guy she was dating that helped her pay for her textbooks for the semester. the party was only for the richer students that attended their college so when some girls at the party saw her there, they tried to kick her out of the party by spilling a drink on her. this got the attention of a lot of people at the party including the love interest but nari just shrugged it off, took off the jacket that she was wearing because it only spilt on that and continued the night in a sorta revealing dress that the guy she was dating told her to wear. she was freezing in that dress but pretended that it didn't bother her. later that night, the guy was quite drunk and was getting quite touchy with nari but she didn't like it at all in one of the hallways. so the guy kept saying stuff about how she should let him do these things since she's pretty much a prostitute because he paid for her textbooks and that it was only "fair" but still nari wouldn't let him and was actually about to hit her when her love interest stepped in and said that she didn't want to sleep with the guy because she's already dating him. there the love interest asked her out and said that he'd pay for everything and that she wont need to go looking for another guy to get her to pay for things despite knowing that she only went out with guys for their money and she disagreed because she chooses the guy and not the guy chooses her.
