What sounds can you hear in the silence? |
What words does the space between thoughts form? |
|
A young priest once went looking for these answers, and what they found was beyond their expectations. |
A knowledge that should have been too much for any mind to bear was to them simply a fascination that with time consumed them. Cloaking themself in a feathered gown to better match the birds that accompany them they went out into the night, searching for more. |
Consuming the silence, the darkness, the emptiness. Understanding far more than any human should ever hear of. |
Exactly what they are capable of is unknown to anyone but themself. And possibly the birds. But people do know that they are extremely powerful. A simple look from them is enough to plunge even the most sane individual into a deep, catatonic state. |
|
They're a person of few words and fewer expressions, constantly keeping a calm aura about them with their white eyes piercing through even the most hardened of liars. They wear, as mentioned, a feathered gown with a high collar. It's fairly tight and reaches the floor making it look almost as if though they are floating on the ground. They wear heavy makeup, particularly around the eyes, further accentuating the piercing white gaze. Their gender is really impossible to discern from both face and body. |

No one really knows anything about their past, neither does anyone dare ask. Their birds are prone to taking the eyes of anyone who asks too much. To be honest they probably prefer the company of the birds to the company of others. Alas, one of the most powerful dark mages known has a certain need to socialize, if kept to a minimum. |
- | However, their reputation precedes them. For who doesn't know about Vrana, the all seeing?

They much prefer the solitude or company of birds alone, perhaps even their young apprentice that, in their eyes, is equal to a bird. Others are rather wary of their company, in fact. As their magic stems from illusions and manipulation of the mind, both human and non-human. This has given them many names. |
The Crow, The All-seeing, Voice of the Silence and many more. But mostly they prefer to go by the name of Vrana.
