 These days I use an Xbox 360 game-pad, together with a custom driver. In the past I used to use strictly Logitech gamepads (started with Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, then Rumblepad 2 and also Dual Action) but I couldn't keep playing with them because they got too demanding for my wrist.
 But luckily the Xbox 360 game-pad works great for me, especially when using a custom driver.

 "to install it, go to the Device Manager [in control panel], select the 360 controller (should be under Common controllers or some such shit), and refresh [update] the device driver. While doing this, select no to windows update driver search (next>), on the next screen select "install from list", on the next screen select "select from list" instead of searching, and on that screen click on the "have disk" button. Pick the *.inf file from this alternate driver THERE. It will install."
 
 In addition, you may have to restart your computer and also plug out and plug in your game pad again.

-Sadly, in this game acquiring IP-addresses on public servers is very easy if you know how to do it, and there's no way for me to prevent people from taking advantage of that. The race just grew to such a size that this problem (which is very common in other more popular games) was inevitable. The last season I did the outcome was heavily affected by it which was completely unacceptable in my mind since I want to host a serious competition, and it forced me to stop hosting it. The only potential fix seems to be be for everyone to use a VPN-service (Virtual Private Network), but I don't see it as being very realistic for people wanting to do that, especially since the better ones costs money. Either way, I'm also not entirely sure even if it is a full-proof solution. Perhaps Nadeo could somehow protect the players and hide their IPs, but I don't even know if that's possible, and most likely Nadeo wouldn't prioritize it anyway (though I think they should since this is not just an issue concentrated to one single event, and if the game becomes more popular one day, this kind of issue will make it way harder for people to host these kind of open events).

-I'd love to be able to host the race again someday in the future as it grew to a big passion of mine, and I also know for a fact many of you enjoyed playing in the race, but as it is there's unfortunately nothing I can do to in this current situation.
