AA12 has the honor of having a clip, which I promise will mean a lot compared to the other shotguns after these changes. For that, it has to give up on something. The old AA12 had it all, and it had too much. It could put ridiculous amounts of 25 damage rounds downrange and reload quickly and do it again. In order for it to keep its clip feature, the fire rate and and freeze had to suffer. To make it feel a little better, I buffed the reload slightly.

This is a slight nerf. It makes it slightly worse than the pre-nerf AA12. It's certainly in line with the other shotguns, but since it's an MVP gun, it deserves some slightly special considerations.

This puts the PBP closer to what it was in the past. A lot of people have complained about the reload, and I agree. It feels bad to sit there for two seconds when reloading an empty gun. This allows you to reload one at a time, and dodge in between. It adds some interesting strategy. This also holds true for the Spas and PL9. The PBP is special in that it's powerful, and it's meant as a viable alternative to the other shotguns (AA12 included!). I also upped the bullets to 6 to make it useful for shooting down doors, giving it somewhat of a niche use.

As it stood, Spas was better than the PL-9 (except reload) and yet 50k cheaper. I think of the Spas as an intermediate shotgun. Some power, fair fire rate, and moderate freeze. I want to see all shotguns have some use, instead of the dominance of the old AA12. The nerfs to Spas and PL-9 aren't as severe for that reason. They give up the 25/24 damage for more RoF and less freeze.

Same logic as Spas. Instead, I want the PL-9 to be a 'rapid-fire shotgun,' which is how I remember it. It's the kind of gun where you can sit in one spot and hold D and put a lot of bullets downrange, much like the old AA12 was used. The big difference is that it only does 20 damage and shoots 4 bullets.

Another clip shotgun, the USAS has to give up some fire rate and freeze for that privilege. These nerfs are essentially to keep it in line with the other shotguns. Think of it as a "mini aa12"

Models are fine how they are, even with the other shotguns getting nerfed. Maybe we will see them actually being used now.
