| - | Lamashtu is the mother to all things that slither, crawl, or flap above and below Erilen. She serves as the patron goddess and creator of countless horrors, be they fiction or reality. As one of the few Abyssal entities that rose into a deity, Lamashtu is one of the sole reasons for even the Gods fearing what lurks within the depths of The Abyss. |
| + | Long, long ago, there was a dragon named Rhysvial, who walked among man during the Age of Creation. During this time, Rhysvial was a benevolent and loving God, seen as a bringer of wisdom and worshiped alongside Amelia as a creator God. However, times change, and as time progressed, Rhysvial descended further and further into madness. The death of his brother, Fafnheir, was the last straw. |

| Rhysvial snapped and took his anger out upon young Alron, who was subject to torture so horrible that it changed the young Godling into the God of Pain known today. Shortly after, he and his black dragon flight had united several other dragons across the world, an in attempt to overthrow the pantheon and their control over the earth.

| - | As befits her demonic origins, Lamashtu most of the Pantheon a bitter enemy; the feeling's mutual, of course. Lamashtu focuses primarily on growing her cults and expanding her worshiper's influence across Erilen, so that she may steadily rise into power. |
| + | Month: Rhys; Third of Fall. |
| ||
| - | Many remember her for her surprisingly heroic role in sealing away Rhysvial, as it was her that bound the Worldbreaker in place so that Belial and Murielle may properly seal him within The Vault. |

| ||
| Rhysvial is hated by all Gods of the Pantheon, as it his end goal to destroy everything to do with them on Erilen.
| ||
| Rhysvial is the father of all dragons; many dragons on Erilen are seen as important figures to the world, but the Black Dragons are the only brood that still heeds to his call.
| ||
| ||
| - | Lamashtu's cult lacks a proper structure or hierarchy, and is found scattered across the world. Her worshipers generally create hidden or secret shrines found underground, which are usually made from crudely constructed stone or wood circles. Many former altars of Lamashtu have been found within caves, containing evidence of the horrendous rituals and failed birthings that took place within the cult. |
| + | |
| ||
| - | For the most part, her clergy seeks out deformity and perversion within both themselves and others, and often kidnap victims from nearby communities to conduct their torturous experiments. Worshipers are also known to consort with vile creatures in order to give birth to monstrosities, such as ogres or other horrors. |

| ||
| Quite simply, most of Rhysvial's mortal worshipers consist of savage monsters or complete nihilists that haven't done their book work and are just complete edge lords that want to take their anger out on everything. While they destroy and decimate all in his name, it isn't necessarily the main thing that the dragon god wants, and an actual cult of Rhysvial actually has some form of order among it.
| ||
| Rhysvian churches are, obviously, hidden from public view, and are usually centered around the worship of a dragon(s) that sees the Worldbreaker as the true god of Erilen. These cults strongly believe that mortal life are below dragons, and should work only to serve them to the best of their abilities. Whether that means their sacrifice or not matters little, but they are granted great power in exchange for their eternal service.
| ||
| - | Lamashtu's cult lacks any real books, as they much rather spread the word of their god through divine rituals or word of mouth. |
| + | |
| Holy Texts | |
| ||
| Rhysvial's only known text was made before his fall, and details the creation of all the main flights, along with why Rhysvial created them. It is translated and found throughout the world, and is very important to both history and a part of Rhysvian worship.
| ||
| - | Skulls of Musmahu: The seven heads of a great hydra that died in service to Lamashtu. The skulls of Musmahu are said to be scattered somewhere across Erilen. Several cults have claimed to have owned such a skull, and use it to hear the goddess' will. |

| - | The cult of Lamashtu doesn't have any known regular holidays, but debauched or hedonistic celebrations are very common among them. |

| - | Birthing: An important thing to the cult of Lamashtu is the birth of deformed creatures. It is said that the goddess' favour will show when a worshiper's child is born deformed. On the contrary, an inexplicable (and often fatal) birth of a healthy, 'perfect' child will mean that the worshiper has somehow incurred her wrath. |

| ||
| Edgelords: There are two types of worshipers to Rhysvial. The first and most common type are those that simply seek to break or take their anger out on things, believing the Dragon God to be a prime example of destructive power that they can call upon to assist them in their destruction.
| ||
| Dragon Cults: Cults to Rhysvial are usually pretty destructive themselves, but are usually a bit more quiet in nature. They usually silently kidnap or steal important figures to sacrifice in the name of their patron dragon. Cults strongly believe that the dragon is the one true native of Erilen, and that a mortal's only excuse for living on their land is to serve them as willing slaves. |
