Well, you're not going to find someone by isolating yourself.
In my case, back then I wasn't as much of an introvert as I am now. So, I got lucky with her. Nowadays I wouldn't have met her.
I mean you don't necessarily need to date someone that lives in your same area.

Well, just spend more time in communities that you like and get to know people there. I'm not the best for that kind of advice considering I just got lucky.
If you don't want to search or be active in commubities then see if you have a close female friend you'd like to be with that is currently single, and get closer to her.
You of course want that approach to be natural, and you do need to feel something for her. You can't just go flirting just for the sake of having a lover.

I really don't know what else to say, really.
I've told you everything I can think of. There's no secret, just, go make friends and let relationships build naturally.
It took me and my girlfriend getting to know each other for five years to even consider dating, let alone actually doing it.
Some people start dating as early as their first month but most of those relationships are usually short-lived.
That I know of.
In the meantime you can always get yourself a friend with benefits, if you want.
It's nowhere close to an actual romantic relationship but it satisfies your sexual needs. And who knows, maybe you'll develop feelings for each other down the line.
