  1. The Curse of The Kaijin
  2. -Written by Kaijin, Tsuchiogan
  3.
  4. "While most of the other clans were still crawling from the mud, trying to figure out their footing in this new world cursed by The Last of The Fallen, we were already running. With the Blood of King Kaijin pumping through our veins, we never really had the chance to know fear of The Monsters.
  5.
  6. Our blood gave us control over one of the most dangerous substances known to man, Lava. It is because of this that we've only ever known fear -from- those who oppose us. Its only natural for Humans and Creatures alike to stir clear of certain death. Hell, even the land we inhabited was scarred just from our presence. Because of this, many of the Feudal Lords pushed us from their lands. Even if we are heir to a Royal's blood, the story of the Kings had been reduced to just that, a story. Atleast to those who'd claim rule over the major lands.
  7.
  8. It is within the land of Stone that we finally found an environment capable of withstanding our prolonged stay. But this wasn't without conflict. It is said that we often butted heads with the Homura during the Tribal Era before we grew big enough to be known as Clans. But our rivalry didn't have the outcome you might expect. Through fighting, we developed a kinship with the Homura. A Mutual respect. We'd become used to the fear we'd instill in an enemy. Yet, for the first time in our existence, we were faced with a clan who saw our immense strength as a challenge instead of a threat.
  9.
  10. Our skirmishes became more like sporting events, and we learned to fight like brothers and not like enemies. We were of a noble clan, and they were of lesser beginnings, but they taught us they the strive to become better knows no bloodline.
  11.
  12. After we were hired by the Uzumaki to help them end a conflict, we extended a hand to both the Uzumaki and the Homura. Offering them an alliance not too different than the one we heard formed Sunagakure. There, a noble clansmen had become the leader of a united group of clans, and here we sought to do the same.
  13.
  14. Iwagakure was formed, then Konohagakure came tailing right behind. Said to be founded through a similar alliance.
  15.
  16. It was odd to me to hear that Konohagakure had decided on clan to lead their village without a noble bloodline, but I shrugged it off as none of my concern. I should've known to distrust them that very moment. However, had I known, history may have gone down differently and I would have not met many of the former Konoha Clansmen I call my brethren today.
  17.
  18. Much like the Homura, we'd learned to respect them through battle.
  19.
  20. When the Ogawa came to support our push against the Konohagakure forces, we weren't too welcoming at first. However, they had permission from The Stone Daimyo to support our cause with their War Machines. Personally, I believe they deprived a good battle of it's honor. Yet, I understand the ways of war and that the honor and prosperity of my village outweigh the honor I'd gain in a single fight.
  21.
  22. Our people fought the front lines of the Iwa-Kono war, but remained as cavalry for the Fall of Konoha and The Fall of Kumogakure. It was a wise choice on both accounts due to how lethal our abilities might be for friend and foe alike. But I cannot deny my disappointment in the assignment for the latter battle. We heard tale that the Igarashi may be a clan capable of matching our kekkei genkai, and even defeating it.
  23.
  24. The only thing my brown eyes got to see through these black bangs of mine was their village being decimated before they even got the chance."
