  56. Lotlhuitl paced her way to the arena, head held high. Tension visible in her limbs. She was sick of these fucking Ezmarans talking down to her. Sick of it.

  58. In truth, her anger barely had anything to do with Adsila at all. And so words of the crowd, especially Chitli's, reaaally didn't help.

  60. The Nagual with the blue-black hair visibly snarled at Chitli, baring her teeth. She'd lept into the arena with a burst of lightning; a crack of thunder in her wake.

  62. Lotlhuitl raised a hand to the dryad, curling a finger. Beckoing, Come get some!

  73. The young nagual was hot-tempered, and quite violent, it seems. This was good. Gehenna needed more people like this, more people to -fight- for their opinion, regardless of it's validity.

  75. It was refreshing, Adsila rather liked this Lotlhuitl.

The crushing weight vanished, a powerful force aiming to shove the cosmic runescribe to the side, vaguely in the direction of the Ezamaran arena.

No, she did not hide away like a mouse to men like himself, though instead she acted more like that of a mirror in a way. Redirecting pride and hatred elsewhere; manipulation, reflection, deflection, whatever you want to call it.

  291. The runescribe chose not to budge, though the weight caused her to shudder and tremble, teeth gritting as she glared at Xoconan.

You act just as self-righteous as Hatsune regarding it and you cared little for Zahhual in the first place; it's why you hold no guilt over your actions."

  299. Blue eyes glared intensely at Xoconan as Xitlalli stood her ground; she did not want to go anywhere near Ezmara. Not after what she heard of them in regards to Zahhual, not after what she saw in the square prior to Zahhual's downfall and then death.

  305. [03:49:20] The Witch moved swiftly despite her aging frame, sensing the build-up of mana from her beloved son and instinctively acting upon it. Her arm would jut out before the motionless Runescribe, intercepting the gravitational shove and taking it upon herself.

  307. Her sandals would skitter along the top of the paved brick road, as the Witch struggled to maintain her balance as she was forcefully moved towards Ezmara.

  309. “I said-… Enough.” Her tone was no longer as sweet or soothing as it normally was, the infighting was robbing her of her composure. A disappointed look laid strewn upon her face, matching her tone implicitly. “The both of you, stop this foolishness at once.”

  311. “Do not let your emotions blind you, everyone here shares the sorrow of the woman we lost. If we turn upon one another over petty insults, then we are dishonouring their memory. If you have any semblance of respect to the woman who gave everything for Gehenna, and the homeland-…. Then cease this at once.”

  315. [03:55:18] His jaw clenched tightly, gaze splitting between Oyaotl and Xitlalli. With a right hand wrapped tightly around his stave, it slowly touched the ground, feet following. The rage didn't dissipate, but the magic did.

  317. "She was more to Hatsune and Oyaotl then she ever was or would be to you. Go to Hatsune with these words, maybe my Mom will be there to save you again." Venom coated his every utterance, sanguine hues locked firmly upon the runescribes.

  319. "Otherwise? Shut the fuck up, unless you plan to back yourself up. I don't care about tribal boundaries all that much if all you plan on doing is using them as a shield to hide behind." He turned to stroll away, back towards Lotlhuitl. "I have more than my strength, but all I need to back myself up against the likes of you."

[04:04:41] Just as she had expected; with Oyaotl here and opting to split the petty argument between them up, she knew Xoconan lacked the impulse to attack with or without provocation on Xitlalli's part. For some odd reason, or another, she felt disappointed that she hadn't been attacked or pushed as it were, something to allow her currently damaged ego to 'justify' what she had been thinking of.

  328. To bolt in the paranoia she was currently feeling and make it a 'good' thing rather than a bad thing.

"Fffp-...", there wouldn't be much in the way of words after Oyaotl's actions, Xitlalli simply staring over to the woman, almost in a melancholic fashion for a few seconds or however long it took until Xoconan once more spoke. It was those toxic words of his that managed to chink away at Xitlalli's mind once more.

  332. After all, Xitlalli took it considerably hard last night; not in the same way as Hatsune did or the others, but it was more of a self-centered and selfish point of view she had regarding the entire ordeal.

"Who are you to decide what she was to me?", she utters with contempt visible on her features as she came to once more focus on the boy, "No, with that incredibly dumb comment, all you do have in actual fact is your strength, nothing more, nothing else, go away simpleton.", this wasn't the first time she had a run in with his sort of ilk; the sort which wished to test everything with might, be it right or wrong.

  336. Despite her best attempts however to conceal the pain which Xoconan managed to inflict with just a nasty choice of words alone, it showed through the cracks; be it the slight 'whistle' in her voice, or the ever-so-tiny wince here or there when she heard what he had said.

As for the bandages, Maiya Vindict decided to assist the demon who assaulted me in the Ezmaran square, and cursed me in the past. The demon stole my eyes and she simply complained about her life and people asking her for potions while it did it. Shocking to say, the demon then asked her for a potion and she gave it to it without a fuss." Her voice carried with it a tone of disgust every time Maiya was referred to. Which was a lot.

  411. These days (since outfitting herself in various jewels and trinkets) she was not a stealthy woman. She jingled subtly with each step.

  413. And each of these steps took her closer and closer to Toka and to the Great Spirit, Dmex.

  415. The Nagual with the blue-black hair paused, listening to what Toka said to Dmex. Her mentor. And then, with a shake of her head (jingle, went her jewellery), Lotl cleared her expression.

  417. "Great Spirit!" Lotlhuitl exclaimed, raising her fist. A greeting. She paused. "Toka."

  419. The Nagual still wasn't sure how she felt about the woman. It wasn't her blindedness which gave her pause, oh no. But the words Toka spoke.

  421. "Really? That's what happened?" She said, surprised. Lotlhuitl scratched behind an ear. She'd had a rather loud disagreement with that dryad for being rude to her. And, well. The proceeding beating she'd received had put Toka's predicament well out of her mind.

  423. However: she recalled what Toka had been saying. About the demons. Speaking out against Karma (and now Maiya).

  425. Perhaps.. she had more in common with this woman than she realised? Lotlhuitl shuddered, finding that thought unpleasant. She still didn't like Toka! Any kind of.. charitable kind of thinking when she was concerned felt quite unpleasant.

I aimed to take her to the person she told me she had to talk to. Maiya. And she then began to freak out when I tried to take her. The demon, and its servants showed up. And got hostile with me, and attacked me. Its friend was who injured me." Giving a small pause. To take a deep breath.

  445. "I found the demon who injured me back in Ezmara. As if nothing was wrong, to trade with Maiya. I wasn't going to sit there as the demon was given no punishment. It not only hurt me, but hurt the people who stood up and fought alongside me. It hurt fellow Gehennans, and yet. There were people who believed the demons could do no wrong. That they should be held above us. Maiya Vindict joined the demon in assaulting me. In aiming to maim me, and threatened to kill me saying that is why I would not see my children grow up. As I called her out on why she had no right to complain on not being seen as someone with power. Because when she is needed, she is off having sex. And when she is present, all she is doing is complaining. And she threatened me with death because of it." Shaking her head, a soft chuckle escaping from her.

Zyanya, Aether and Faust already got injured because of her. She didn't want to even think about the risk of adding onto that list.

  542. "I don't understand how, when thinking Gehenna is in danger, when thinking that such a threat is rising. I can't understand how they can just.. roll over and give up."

  544. Oh, yes. Her ire was distinctly up.

  546. "I.. I don't know. She.. her force was excessive when we faced each other. And then, afterwards? She tried to pretend that she was righteous. Scooped me up, without thought.

  550. "How are Sins made?" The question was asked with difficulty. She wanted to say, yes.. Yes, she's going to become a sin. Let's kill her. Her anger at being humiliated by such a weak, pathetic Sarradian was such that she found it hard to care if it was true or not.

  552. But. Lotlhuitl suppressed her anger for a moment. Her need for vengeance. "I think Toka.. she cannot even be reasoned with."

  579. Anger. It was her constant companion. Like a wave washing against the cliff face of her soul, slowly wearing it away. The rot from the wraith had.. already damaged her. Her soul was beating, throbbing, thrumming with this corruption.

  581. She felt angry that she had been defeated by this Sarradian. And now, this anger bubbled within her. A disturbance in the deep, deep oceans of her emotions. A disturbance in her blood.

  583. "Toka.. did say she wants to see the world burn. Sounded.. desperate."

  585. It was the truth. Toka *had* said it. Had even then tried to cover it up and say that she had not. Lies, perhaps? "The Sarradian is a liar." She added, the segue perhaps not clear to Dmex. "But.. it's hard, Dmex. I.. heard her saying many things that sounded.. well. They didn't sound too far from the truth. If, well. If I didn't believe in you, have faith in Kayeliun. If I didn't believe in Gehenna, I'd likely act as she does. Fight in the streets of Ezmara, because I couldn't see any other choice."

  587. Lotlhuitl had fought in Ezmara before. Once. When there was no other options open to her. It was not something that she would repeat. The memory.. well. The reactions to her good deed had been.. exceedingly harsh. Confusing to her. "...I'd be desperate too."

  611. "Really, we all are able to dispense with such fears. They have you, Great Spirit. I've certainly felt that Ezmara is safe, knowing that you are protecting it as Warchief."

  613. Lotlhuitl shuddered for a moment, attempting to dismiss a growing disease within her. Her hands had been held into fists for... longer than she'd realised. They ached. Lotlhuitl forced herself to relax.

  615. "But, Great Spirit, if she turns into a Sin, what would that mean? I mean, are all Sins terrible? Oyaotl seems almost kind, usually." Lotlhuitl frowned. "I guess she has made it clear that she does not intend on protecting the People. Is that the problem?"

  631. The Nagual then proceeded to count on her fingers as she spoke,"Self righteous. Weak willed. A liar. And a thief. She doesn't care for Gehennan traditions - doesn't care for honour!" Her ears pinned back, arms folding as she continued listing Toka's various character flaws.

  633. "And so, if it is true that Maiya has lost all patience with her, it is somewhat ironic that this happens now. When I called Toka out on such things, Maiya lowered herself in my eyes by dressing me down in the middle of Cruxati, joining in with Toka, claiming that I lack honour and respect."

  651. Lotlhuitl blinked. Was.. was that how the truth worked? Truly, the Nagual was stunned for a moment. Her green gaze, previously full of passion and fury as she ranted about how unworthy the Sarradian was, widened. Lotlhutil felt so.. young. She looked it, too. For a moment. Bewildered. And then her expression shifted. She nodded. It was obvious she DEEPLY trusted Dmex. In a way, perhaps Lotlhuitl had wrapped up part of her identity, since a young age, in wholeheartedly worshipping Dmex as a Spirit. Considered her, her patron. Her mentor. Her Goddess.

  653. "I understand Dmex. I.. I trust your judgment."

  655. It didn't feel completely right. It didn't make sense. Wasn't logical. But.. but.. perhaps she wasn't that smart. Perhaps this was a spirit thing. She must be wrong. Discomforted at that, her anger abated. The Nagual sought comfort, and wrapped her fluffy tail around herself.

  657. "I also know that Toka has been making deals with Xomac. I.. I do not know if you knew this, and.. perhaps it isn't even relevant." Lotlhuitl's voice was quiet. "I consider this may actually be a warning sign to Ezmara and Cruxati. Toka.. is loud. We know about her. But what if there are others who are discontent with peace? Discontent with Karma and Kayeliun making deals with demons, deals with Jianghu, deals with each other, deals in any way they can?"

  1015. [23:33:45] Lotlhuitl looked decidedly gloomy as she approached Karma Vindict. Was she more or less gloomy than normal? Hard to say. Lotlhuitl was not, generally speaking, the smiling sorta gal.

  1017. The Nagual with the blue-black hair approached the Ezmaran Chieftain from the south. Her head held high, fluffy ears lightly pinned back, hands clasped in front of her.
  1018.  
  1019. "Chieftain Vindict," she said, speaking Karma's name and title in lieu of greeting. Formal. Stiff.
  1020.  
  1021. A glance was given to Griffin. "I'm fine," she said, tension building in her shoulders. Either she couldn't help sounding terse or she didn't care to mask such things. Possibly the former, considering she blinked, sighed, and seemed to correct herself. "Later," she said.
  1022.  
  1023. Her attention turned fully back to Karma.

  1027. [23:33:45] Lotlhuitl says, "I wish an audience with you."
  1028. [23:37:10] Leaning against the temple walls, the Chieftain would slowly open his eyes up, blinking once, yellow hues drifting over to the source of familiar figure and all he offered was a small, brief stare.
  1029.  
  1030. "Oh-- greetings." finally the lips parted, words escaping--- it appeared as if the Chieftain was in a wake-up daze?
  1031.  
  1032. Letting out a soft, misty breath, the Ezmaran would slowly pull himself off the wall, face somewhat buried into the azure cloak as he stepped forward. "Mmh, what is it?

  1044. There it was. Lotlhuitl hadn't looked at the Ezmaran Chieftain as she walked ahead of him into the temple. Walk? It was more of a sashay. Lotlhuitl strode forward, seemingly not caring if others found her ostentatious. The jewellery adorning her body caught the light as she moved. Quietly jingled.
  1045.  
  1046. She turned, long hair fanning out behind her as she spun around and faced Karma. Green eyes flashing.
  1047.  
  1048. Xoconan had wanted to be here for this talk. It wouldn't have been too much of a stretch for Karma to realise or assume that Xoconan likely had intended on being here.
  1049.  
  1050. But, as per usual, Lotlhuitl was doing her own thing. The thing she thought was right. And one may very well get the vibe that she wholeheartedly believed herself in the right, what with her general posture, and the way the six foot tall woman looked down at Karma Vindict.
  1051.  
  1052. She folded her arms.
  1053.  
  1054. "You're physically much stronger than I, Chieftain Vindict. And so I suppose I ought to thank you for standing here and listening to me." By her tone it was hard to tell whether Lotlhuitl intended compliment or insult towards the Chieftain. Her expression seemed entirely genuine. But.. she was angry. Her tail wrapped tightly around herself. End twitching.

  1056. "So. I'm here. Is there anything you want to say about how poorly you have treated me?"
  1057.  
  1058. (Lotlhuitl)

  1065. [23:55:56] Hands slipped inside his pockets, head tilted over to the side and face a little bit buried into the azure Cloak of Storms, the Chieftain's steps are small, and slow, frosted locks swaying about as they'd finally come to a halt by the throne.
  1066.  
  1067. Karma would slowly nod, yellow hues focused upon the nagual's figure before him-- of course Conan did... he was kind of expecting as much anyway.
  1068.  
  1069. The Chieftain's features remained neutral, though, barring a brief raise in eyebrows as he'd finally let his lips part.
  1070.  
  1071. "I was having quite an important-- and perhaps somewhat emotional discussion with a person I know all too well. A friend of sorts, even. Then there I have this one nagual I don't even know randomly, and rudely interrupting the two of us and spouting unwanted, pointless toxicity regarding me. After that, I heard you've been spouting similar things to every other person you cross in Ezmara and whatnot."
  1072.  
  1073. A pause,
  1074.  
  1075. "You say mistreated. I didn't even try to talk to you, or confront you following that. I was considering a ban, but didn't act on it either--- I didn't mistreat you, Lotlhuitl. I ignored you and everything you did... unless you find that offensive."
