- So, was looking for relevant domain via domcop but till now i didn't found any great domain. My budget is under $100 for the name.
- While searching I found a lot of domain with no backlinks not a single (As Ahref result). But are aged like 5+ years and are under my budget and domain name is also relevant as AF.
- So, will this type of expired domain going to be profitable if domain has no backlinks and is only aged and couple of pages are indexed by google too.
- Or It would be better to look for a high stats powerful domain with no relevancy at all ?
- Kindly share your suggestion and put me out of this misery.
- Thanks in advance.

- So you mean to say I should go with an expired domain with great metrics irrelevant to the niche it was previously on.

- No. That's the same thing as starting off with a brand new domain.
- Unless you're buying your domain through auction (or through a broker, like @Nargil , that buys from auctions), you're not going to find a clean expired domain worth using.

- Worthy of a money site? I really doubt it mate, no offense of course. :)
- OP, anyone who picks a niche and starts looking for a suitable money site does it completely wrong. You might never find anything strong, brandable and clean this way. You are supposed to find a nice domain, and pick your niche based on the domain. Not the other way around. You can use the domains even as an inspiration to find new niches.
- All in all, if your budget is under $100, then don't bother looking for suitable money site domains and simply start fresh. $100 will not make that much of a difference compared to the headache and corners you would have to cut.

- I hear you, I could PM you my sites URL? It's ranking for KW's nicely considering the content is only 20 days old

- Well, depends on the competition and all. If competition is low, then even the smaller domains can do some nice improvements, all things considering. And sure, feel free to do so.

- I am using Domcop and Ahref to find my domain. And most of the domains there are on Auctions.

- Thanks for your opinion, my niche is not to competitive and will it be ok to get an expired domain and redirect it to the new domain. Cause i don't want to wait 3 months on sandbox before seeing some result.

- Mate, if you can't wait for 3 months to see results, then honestly, don't do SEO. And that's not how 301 redirects work at all. They won't speed up anything. You have to redirect already somewhat ranking domain with decent metrics, not $10 domain straight from registrar or straight after registration.
- Also, sandbox is bullshit imo. Websites are simply getting rank improvements as they age, that doesn't mean there is any sandbox. Established websites simply rank better.

- Click to expand...If the irrelevant domain has that many backlinks/RDs, but a DR score of only 14, then it's probably garbage.
- If you're dead set on choosing between the two, go with the relevant one.

- Click to expand...If I had to choose from these two, I'd definitely go with the second one. But it will be much better/easier/cheaper to register your own domain. Don't expect any boost from examples you've mentioned.
- A simple domain valuation method I figured over the years is using the "Organic Search" tab of Ahrefs or Semrush, then check if the domains ranked for any low comp keywords.
- The only challenge here is evaluate if the ranking drops due to penalty or due to the site being taken down, the only way to know is checking the history of the domain.
