Uri, Accused Witch, conflict for his Kin.

This scene of emotion and understanding is tricky. Uri wants to believe that his cousin Sanna has turned good. But she is in Osrona, captured, in shackles, upon a farm and wearing a collar... For this one time, despite their years of threats to kill one another on the battle field, having encounter after encounter, some turning bad, others leaving off on a neutral level. Uri could finally see his cousins, again as family, even if it were for a brief moment, even if he knew of Sanna's fate to come, as his fiance' Vivian would remind him that Witches and the Occult were nothing to toy with, as it would be a major threat to not only her life, but to anyone in Osrona... Conflicted, he went with his gut, and followed his wife to be, boiling only his resolve to end this conflict. To end those harboring the Occult that's tainted his cousin's mind all those years ago, to be the solution rather than find one on his own.


[10:53] Stepping closer towards Sanna with heavy steps, he doesn't say anything. Instead, with his face still somewhat difficult to see due to the Darkness around, he goes on his knees beside her, uncaring about the dirt and such.

No words or sound, he just tries to reach out for her, and pull the woman on a tight hug, which he wouldn't really let her go, even if it send wave after wave of pain through his body due to some injury he has.

[10:54] Uri Sanctum whispers: That's them...
[10:54] Viorell Beret whispers: Who?
[10:54] Uri Sanctum whispers: Been ages since we last battled, but, now times are different...
[10:55] Uri Sanctum whispers: Hopefully this douesn't turn into a fight... Those two there are my cousins.
[10:55] Viorell Beret whispers: Oh. Why would things turn into a fight?
[10:55] She lets herself be embraced, laying limply in his arms. She simply stared ahead, except to reach up and scratch at the collar on her neck. If the red marks around it were any indication she did this a lot.

"A year. I'm stuck here for a year. With this collar and all."

[10:56] Uri Sanctum whispers: We' were enemies.. BEcause they defected from Osrona to fight for another country, against us.
[10:56] Viorell Beret whispers: I feel like I recognize her from somewhere. I can't put my finger on it.
[11:01] Seeing his Sister's state like this, it actually broke his heart, guilt quick to wash over his body... was she locked to Osrona? This was all their fault. Shit...

Now, something rare happens as he holds the limp woman in his arms. He cries... whatever happened, it obviously affected her that much, and now he thinls they all might have misunderstood the situation. His tears run down his cheeks and some fall on Sanna's head without him noticing.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I'm sorry I misunderstood things..."

Noticing the whispers and the footsteps behind himself, a small glance is taken back to see his cousin and someone else.

It certainly wasn't a scene others would expect to see, much less the blond Sanctum. Cayden, the always prideful, confident and sometimes cold cousin, weak like this.

[11:01] Uri, through his sight of plain view, would see the hair, and the jacket of Cayden as well.. He moved closer upon hearing Sanna's voice.

The young Captain finally spoke after Cayden, approaching them with a cosmic light in order to try and see their faces more clearly.

"Sannie?" He asked.

But would she respond?

Could she still see him as their cousin?

Or was he just a filthy Osronan in the eyes of the Arborea head. There was a heavy topic at hand.. He would look at Viorell, gesturing for him to stand back, for this seemed personal.

[11:03] Her eyes fell on Uri and she sighed.

"Go away Uri. I'm just a Therian friend of Duana's wrapped up in things I couldn't possibly understand."

Nothing mattered while she was here. She couldn't function as family head. She couldn't have Cymbal for her happiness. She didn't even have her connection to nature to comfort her. The world was bleak. And she had so long to go.

[11:08] As the two had their conversation, Viorell and Uri stood back. He had gained revelation as to their identities, but for some reason something felt off. In the moonlit night, his gaze focused onto Sanna.

She was a familiar figure, but he couldn't exactly distinguish where the two had crossed paths. It gnawed at his conscious. He knew that the two had crossed paths, but nothing of recent came to mind. It was a bit frustrating. Then the answer came...

How could he forget something so simple, yet important. Uri spoke of his kin being on different sides than he, and the woman had recently stated her affiliation with Theria. It all made sense. He recalled the woman from before he began his travels. She was for a lack of a better term, the door woman. When he realized who she was, his eyes widened in surprise.

"You're the woman from before. The one who thought someone knocked on your door, and the one who was having that argument with the bald headed manback in Theria!" He'd call out in surprise while standing behind the gate.

"Wait,why are you stuck here?"

[11:09] He feels like he was ignored... but it was okay, he deserved it, and it's not like he asked a question in the first place. There's nothing mothing more he can say or add to the conversation, so he remains silent, his hug on Sanna not as tight as before.

He wanted to ask a few things, but didn't, then someone asked the 'Why'.

[11:13] "Five years..." Said Uri as he would get closer. He was not sure, if Sanna was in true danger, or if she was being dramatic. If she was hostile or if she was keeping to herself, fully reserved.

"It's been five years, and, the first thing my cousin says to me, is to go away?... That's not who you are Sannie."

He sighs, stopping to stand by Cayden's side, looking at the older Arborea.

"I don't plan on waiting another five to have these seconds with you... While I can," said the young Captain. For he was not going anywhere any time soon. Patting Cayden on the shoulder as he went to hug Sanna.

[11:15] She's now group hugged, limply held between them.

"Because I'm friends with Duana. They're afraid that she's messed with my mind so they're keeping me here. Like this. For a year."

She sighed and wrapped an arm loosely around them.

"I am Uri. I'm a monster. That's why I'm collared and kept in a pen of four walls."

[11:19] Blinking a few times, he glanced at Uri who came in for a group hug.

"Hm... you are not a monster Sanna... but Duana..."

She must've already been checked for Occultism and likely didn't have any.

"Why did you even leave with her?"

That was what most bothered him. Duana was a monster, like it or not, she was a Witch who held a connection to the Dark Lord of Helheim, and his Sister was willingly friends with such a person while all those in Ilburg were getting ready to risk their lives and fight off the forces of that realm.

[11:20] She shook her head.

"It doesn't matter anymore does it. Here I am. Unable to work. Unable to see Cymbal. Unable to grow plants, the most basic nature spell."

She graps another handful of dirt.

"See? I keep grabbing it. Just hoping I'll see a sprout of grass. The most basic element."

[11:31] It was brief, but it was something he waited for, and five years. He was due for a reunion, a hug between the three that was shared.

"You're wrong Sannie, you'll never be a monster to us."

"I only know Duana, for who she used to be... Before she tried to suck the life out of me... Yet, I do not hate her, but I've heard of her actions..."

He tried to look at the soil.

"Grass grows over time Sans... When things flourish, when the spiritual will has become strong once more, with a hardened resolve..." He spoke to try and give her words to push forward.

He listened to Cayden, he listened to all of their exchanged words. But, what Sanna would end up doing, will truly be up to her, and not either of her cousins.

[11:34] She trembled, tears falling from her eyes.

"No, grass came when I called it. Nature came when I called it. It was my protector and my solace. It was what kept me sane in my loneliest times."

She dropped the dirt and pulled at the collar, wincing as its spikes dug into her neck until she finally released it again.

"I was almost tortured. Working at the dragon gave me a friend when I was kidnapped. My only high point."

[11:37] Standing off in the background, he listened into the conversation between the three kin. The subject was rather heavy, and gave a glimpse of what really went on in Theira. These events were unknown to him until recently.

He felt for the woman. Her magic was stripped away from her, her identity stolen, and her freedom caged. It was not the worst fate that could happen, but it was up there. Just imagining being in her shoes, he felt sorrowful. Depending on the type of magi one was, their magic was essentially an identity of theirs.

"Will you survive until the end, or give up?" It was a simple question, but one which held its own weight depending on how one took it. He could see that Sanna was on the edge, and when people were in such desperate situations they usually fell into a set group of categories. As kin of Uri, he hoped she'd not take the easy route, and instead brace the current storm of her life.

[11:39] She shook her head and didn't answer, retreating a bit, her arms limp again.
Truthfully she didn't know the answer. Every day felt so long.

[11:42] Uri continued to observe. Before speaking, he would listen more to see what Cayden had to say. Only offering supporting words. "I... Will do what I can, to get you out of here Sannie… Even if, I'm not in the Order. I am a figure now, and I will not allow anymore cruelty upon my cousin..." He did not care for her actions.

The young man... Cared too deeply for his cousins.

[11:45] What had they done to her?

"One day Sister... you'll get that connection back. I'm sure you can... you have always been the strongest of us, always managing to stand up despite everything... I don't know how much this is worth to you but... I will always believe that you're capable of doing it. Uri is right."

He couldn't stand the thought of what they may have done to ccut her connection with Nature, for he knew that it was just that precious to her. His heart began to be filled with rage.

It didn't sound like that was the job of the Osronan's when it came to getting her and checking... so who was it? It was the kidnapper, it couldn't be anyone else.

[11:48] "Sure. When I leave and they let me take this collar off....if they do. My kidnapper was allowed to keep the remote. And he doesn't give a shit about the rules if they're in his way."

She shivered again.

"I'm so useless."

[11:49] Vivian raises her eyebrow up. Seeing Uri around a couple of others.

[11:51] He sighs, for he could see how down his cousin felt... And so, Uri tried to help more. "No, you're not useless... If you were, you'd never have gotten this far... Heavens, they only test those who are worthy, and my dear cousin."

He smiles, "You're very much more then so... And this collar... I might have a member on my crew, who can remove it... Or, the Stellus Salis himself... I will relinquish you of these restraints at my best efforts, Sannie." He spoke with his hand gently held against his own chest. Stoic but dead serious for he would get the approval of the artificers he held within his crew and alliance.

[11:52] She shook her head.

"I asked for it to be removed. The stellus said no."

[11:54] "We will find a way to get these off you Sanna... and until then, we're going to keep you company, I will even bring Grey, Demios, and Cymbal to come and see you if you want."

With a small smile on his face, only due to Uri and what he said, he hoped they could get through to his Sister. It was only a matter of time until she got back up, and until then, they would be by her side.

[11:54] With a tilt of her head, the noble woman was quick to approach her fiancé from behind and with a sudden gesture she rose a hand to grab him by the wrist. Immediately upon doing so, she aimed to tug Uri to be able to see her, just enough to pivot him slightly.

"Cousin..? Uri, love. What is going on?" The crimson noblewoman spoke out with concern. Her eyes casted upon Sanna and then back upon her soon to be husband.

[11:55] Her eyes flickered a bit, opening slightly.

"I'd like....Cymbal and I fought before I was taken."

She shook her head, eyes looking at the newcomer with no recognition before fading back to their unfocused state.

[11:56] With a nod, he unwrapped his arms from around Sanna and allowed just Uri to hold her.

"I'll go find him then."

Saying that as he got up, he smiled and pulled his hood back up. He was ready to leave the area.

[11:58] Sanna nods and falls slightly, leaning more against Uri

[12:00] For this.. Uri would have briefly turned away to face Vivian. It was clear, that he was facing hard times, trying to ease the mind and heart of his cousin Sanna. Now, as Cayden prepared for his grey departure, it would be only them.

"Vivian, this, these are my cousins... Sanna and, Cayden of the Arborea… And Sanna--Cayden.. This, is my fiancé Lady Vivian cos Brienne."

He made an introduction for the three to finally be familiar with each other.

"Sanna, until the day comes, where they remove the collar, I'll be here, with you... Our home isn't far from here, and I'd be damned if some up-beat corrupted Knight tried to bring you harm... I'll let beauty come out of ashes..."

He sighs, not letting the heat get to him.

"We'll find a way."

[12:00] The man couldn't offer anything more than a nod towards Vivian, he had somethign else to do right now.

[12:05] Hearing that her fiancé's cousin was attacked by some Knights, she felt a level of empathy for them. With a hand moving to rest on her hip, the other against one cheek, she moved to analyze Sanna. Seeing if she seemed at all threatening.

Eventually the noblewoman smiled. and extended her hand toward the Arborea woman. "Hello, miss Arborea. Indeed. I am Lady Vivian. Head of the noble House Brienne. And Uri here and I are set to marry soon. As you are his family, you will become mine on our wedding union.

If you need a safe place to be whilst the collar situation is handled? I can have a guest bed set up for you. The Brienne Plantation is safe for all of mine and my love's family." She wasn't going to be stuck up about this. Normally, she wouldn't let people she never met into her home without thorough investigation, but... she was Uri's cousin. And he seemed to trust her.

So taking her partner's feelings and thoughts into consideration, the offer was extended. "Though until Ican speak to whomever collared you, I recommend you do not state where you are staying. I don't want people to assume I'm harboring fugitives, or something similar."

[12:05] Cymbal runs through the bridge, running as fast as his legs could take him.
And when he arrives? He finally finds the one he sought, standing right in front of him now.

Before he'll say anything, before he'll do anything? He'll reach up to his mask, and remove it, revealing a face of one that has difficulty to breath, clear blue eyes staring straight at her.

"Good to meet you. I...wouldn't impose. I'd do more harm than good. You don't want a witch friend around after all."

And then she saw Cymbal and her eyes widened, tears filling her eyes. She didn't know what to do, why he was here. They'd fought, she walked away. And then....all of this.

[12:11] Demios released a sigh of relief, knowing that despite a collar, Sanna was physically unharmed. As she began to cry, he looked between her and Cymbal, before moving off to rest against a nearby tree, sitting on the ground, his fingers coming to the rim of his hood, rubbing it between them.

[12:11] Finally, he has found her.
Without any further words, he'll walk forward, trying his best to keep his composure, even as he sees her crying. Deep, unsteady breaths, done with each steps, as he extends his arms to the sides...

And then, he'll lean forward, trying to hug her tight, putting his own head on her shoulder.

"I... I was worried I'll never see you..."

[12:11] Vivian immediately moves to grab Uri off to the side for a moment. TO whisper to him rather urgently.

[12:13] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Your cousin is a... witch?!
[12:13] Uri Sanctum whispers: I know what you're thinking my love.
[12:13] She hugged him back tightly and cried. Sobbing and screaming cries, all her fears, regrets, pain coming out.

"I messed it all up Cymbal. I messed it up so much. How....how did you find out?"

[12:14] Uri Sanctum whispers: But remember... My cousins did defect and were at war with us and Osrona for some time... Now, I'm doing my best to restore a balance, to right their wrongs.
[12:15] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I... I cannot obide by letting them stay near us. Witchcraft taints the mine.
[12:16] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I can't, Uri.
[12:16] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Puts not only myself and my house at risk, but my servants and anyone close to us.
[12:16] His hold remains tight, keeping her close. Hearing her own cries and regrets?

Makes him to start tearing up too.

"I kept looking. All of us did. I even yelled at the man who took you in front of all of Osrona."

[12:17] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: SHe has to be cleansed of Witch-craft, entirely. Only then will I be able to give her a chance.
[12:17] Uri Sanctum whispers: I know dear... It's why I'll have to ask the Stellus to do so.
[12:17] "He.....he threatened to torture me Cymbal. He took me to a settlement and said he would've tortured me if Edelaide hadn't been there."

She shivered, almost vomited.

[12:17] Uri Sanctum whispers: I don't want her... Possibly placing a hex on the servants to fight to the death.
[12:17] Demios burnt orange hues pulse within the dark confines of his hood, as Sanna cries, his serpentine eyes looking away from the scene, until the threat of torture was uttered.

[12:18] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Good. Then speak to the Stellus. Without his word, if she comes near my home, I -will- take hostile action.
[12:19] Caila says, "..."
[12:19] Cymbal holds her close, trying to keep her comfort.
"Oh, trust me- I felt the need to punch him when I met him back on Osrona, but now?"
He'll put a hand over her head, giving her comfort.
"I'm here."

[12:20] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: WHom arrested her?
[12:20] Uri Sanctum whispers: I do believe she is a friend of the witch who tried to suck the life out of me, Duana... Not truly a witch herself.
[12:20] Uri Sanctum whispers: Shew as surrendered to us.
[12:20] She hugged him back, sobbing quietly, gripping him tightly to her. For the moment, she could feel happiness again. Cymbal hadn't abandoned her.

[12:21] Demios gets up from his seated position, wandering over to Cayden, barely contained intense heat eminating from him, causing his entire visage to visably ripple as the heated air rose around him.

[12:22] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Then the witch is to die.
[12:22] The hug keeps on for a long while, as the two have finally reunited.

You got to hand Cymbal at least one thing, after all.
Guy sure doesn't like to quit.

[12:23] Uri Sanctum whispers: Duana?... Her whereabouts are unknown.
[12:23] The man atted Demios' shoulder as he got closer, whispering a few words before turning around and walking away, thinking he had no right to be here for this moment between Sanna and Cymbal.

[12:23] Cayden Arborea whispers something.
[12:23] Vivian cos Brienne asks, "Sanna. Were your words Claiming yourself to be a witch, or that you were friends of one??"
[12:23] Uri Sanctum whispers: Theria is keeping witches as their citizens though... She might be there.
[12:23] Sanna Arborea says, "Friends with one."
[12:23] Vivian cos Brienne asks, "Is your friend-witch also an occultist?"
[12:23] Sanna Arborea says, "In Theria I am well known for being friends with Duana. That should answer your question."
[12:23] Vivian cos Brienne says, "I see."
[12:23] Sanna Arborea says, "If it helps, I've been tested for Occult."
[12:25] Cymbal Tenor says, "Duana has been friends with a lot of people. It helped that she both defended Theria in the past, and was an overall friendly person to interact with. "
[12:25] Demios was quite literally oozing hatred, the heat he was emitting starting to cause his hood to singe, scales slowly creeping down his form.
His burnt orange hues shining brightly from the confines of his hood.
He'd been doing so well, keeping his cool with everything that had happened recently, but right now, he was on the very verge of simply exploding.

[12:25] Cymbal Tenor whispers something.
[12:27] He stopped himself from walking and poked Demios chest.

"Go to Ilburg, you will only cause problems here if you come across the person like that. We don't need it to happen. We can discuss this more later."

It wasn't simply advice, it was more of an order, but Demios would be the one who should decide it. Anyways, turning around, he aimed to leave.

[12:30] A jet of steam billowed forth from within the confines of his hood, a heated exhale.
He couldn't simply wander off until he knew Sanna was actually safe.
His hood caught fire and in a flash was burned away.

[12:30] Moving to walk off, the normally cheery noble woman had a dour, dark expression on her face. "My father was killed by Therians. My childhood home, destroyed by Therians. But because you are my Fiance's family, and he loves you dearly." With a tilt of her head, she let off a sigh. "Confirm the witch's identity to a Radiant, the Stellus, or the King and I am sure with that information they will set you free. But I advise to avoid her. As... witches are manipulative. Demons masquerading as humans. But had already sold their souls to a lord of Helheim."

There was no saving witches. Especially ones tainted by the occult. That mixture was irredeemable. If one was just an occultist? They could be purged of that Demon magic. If one was a witch? They could find safety asking for the Stars' forgiveness. But the two mixed together... Only by being dipped into a star themselves could they be saved.

"For my dear fiancé's sake. Please do the right thing. I do not want him to suffer from knowing he has to fight with his family any longer. Though it is my duty as his wife to be, to aid him when he is emotionally compromised. I rather any compromises to his happiness sort themselves out. Before I too, get overly emotional."

And to that she walked away after kissing Uri gently upon the cheek. Hopefully Uri could convince his cousin to do the right thing. She trusted the man she was to wed greatly.

"Witches don't have friends. They have pawns." A whispered poison dripping from her lips that perhaps only Uri would've heard. The first time he ever heard his fiancée in such a hate-filled tone.

[12:31] Sanna Arborea says, "They know who Duana is. They've decided she's a witch. I've seen no evidence."
[12:31] Sanna Arborea says, "I call her a witch because Osrona has decided she is. Its easier than arguing."
[12:34] Her eyes widened. Now? Again? He pushed it again so soon after they found each other? She couldn't even feel it right now and everything felt worse. Less. She gripped to him tightly but said no response, shaking quietly.

[12:35] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I will not hide the information she's friends with Duana the WItch for long. But if she comes forth about it herself, she will suffer a fr less brutal punishment. I love you Uri. But I can't risk the safety of Osrona over your cousin's poor choice in friendship.
[12:38] Listening to the words of his love, and seeing the reactions between her and his cousin. He knew that he would have to convince Sanna… Somehow.. He after all, saw Duana as a witch too, despite their childhood together, knowing her for her true name... But, she wanted to devour the very life force within Uri... He saw that as an absolute, and only witches deal in the absolute... SO he'd do what he must, to keep them at bay.

"Sannie, I will visit again upon a later time."

He finally turns to Vivian, listening to her words... Comforting her after her story was told, about the tragedies she's face.

"I know," was all he said out loud. For in this world. Madness, was like gravity, it only took a single push, for someone to get what they deserved on either side.

[12:38] Uri Sanctum whispers: Let's go home dear... I knew of the struggles to come when I saw the collar.
