  1. In the current Any% route, the only use for Super Boots (besides combat) is to maintain "Bobbery Glitch" (bad name) up steps for Teleporter Room Early. Normally, landing after a jump results in Mario unspinning, however by landing with the control stick neutral and then inputting a direction on the first frame Mario touches the ground, you are able to make it up to the pub door. The trick to maintain "Bobbery Glitch" needs to be done twice to make it up. After opening the pub door, you would Flurrie Superslide off the outside and enter the teleporter room with the correct X taps.

  3. It costs 2 minutes and 45 seconds to get the Super Boots in Chapter 2. Therefore, with optimal TRE, Bootless would save 2:45 minus however much longer fights take without the +1 damage on every jump (Magnus 1 would probably be the only problem.)

  5. In addition, there would be no more ticking in the Any% route.
