  1. Kakase (played by Zazanther), working for the Silent Sisters, has been arrested by the Brass Blades as a suspect in the death of 56 mages in Thanalan. Sigral, the inspector in charge, is interrogating her. As the interrogation starts, Kakase's lawyer (played by No Name) shows p.
  2.
  3. [19:28]Khela'a Polaali: How many hours had passed Kakase didn't know. She stared at the cold stone walls of the cell, trying for the tenth time today to count the cracks. She had tried to get a message to the Sisters, but she was unsure if it had gotten through. It looked, she thought, like she might be here for some time.
  4. [19:29]Sigral Vast: "Don't give him the good bread, it's the moldy stuff in the back. We want him to talk, not get comfortable."
  5. [19:30]Sigral Vast shakes her head and looks up at the bars in front of her.
  6. [19:30]Sigral Vast: "Well hello in there. Thought I might pay a visit."
  7. [19:32]Zazanther Rerenther looks up from counting the cracks, though her time was also spent doing some other thinking as well. "Hi..."
  8. [19:33]Sigral Vast: "Feel like having a conversation?"
  9. [19:34]Zazanther Rerenther: "Felt like one yesterday to be frank."
  10. [19:34]Sigral Vast looks up at the hinges and scratches her chin.
  11. [19:34]Zazanther Rerenther: *having one
  12. [19:35]Sigral Vast: "I see - prefer a smaller audience?"
  13. [19:36]No Name: Footsteps echoed along the cool stone walls. The petite lady stood before the rather intimidating hyur before she cleared her throat, her gloved hand holding a neat leather case. "Excuse me."
  14. [19:37]Zazanther Rerenther nods. "True. The less ears the better as anyone can tell you."
  15. [19:37]Sigral Vast: "Yes?"
  16. [19:37]Sigral Vast looks slightly put out at the interruption.
  17. [19:38]No Name stared at the hyur before she pushed the glasses up along the bridge of her nose. "I believe this is..." she took a moment to pull out a pile of papers, shuffling through them. "Miss Kakase?"
  18. [19:39]Sigral Vast looks over her shoulder at the Lala in the cell.
  19. [19:40]Sigral Vast: "You mean this Miss Kakase? That's your name, right?"
  20. [19:41]Sigral Vast looks the midlander up and down and smiles slightly. "I'd almost forgot."
  21. [19:44]No Name smiled at the inspector. "Hello Miss Vast. I've heard much about you and your work. I'm Miss Harper." she reached out her gloved hand to the hyur. "I'll be representing her. May I some time alone with my cilent?"
  22. [19:45]Zazanther Rerenther nods. She wondered if this person was from the Sisters. She had other means of talking and telling who she was but help from them would be nice too.
  23. [19:45]Sigral Vast gives a pained smile. "Credentials?"
  24. [19:47]No Name blinked before she chuckled. "I don't think I would've made it in this far without showing my credentials to the officers out there." she said, her gloved hand retracting to shuffle through the papers. She tugged on few papers, high-quality make, written in rich dark ink, listing out the credentials.
  25. [19:48]No Name hands over something to Sigral Vast.
  26. [19:48]Sigral Vast riffles through the papers, stopping at one page and hemming.
  27. [19:50]Sigral Vast looks up and hands back the papers. "Yep, these look to be in order. But you're only her legal rep if she says you are. Kakase? Is this your choice of lawyer?"
  28. [19:51]No Name smiled pleasantly at the highlander patiently, as if she had gone through this many times. She nodded her thanks before she tucked the papers away into her briefcase, pale eyes shifting over to the small lalafell.
  29. [19:51]Sigral Vast: "You can always fire her later."
  30. [19:52]Sigral Vast grins raffishly at the hyur.
  31. [19:52]Sigral Vast smirks confidently at No Name.
  32. [19:52]Khela'a Polaali knocked and poked his head into the room, an apologetic look on his face. "Boss? Can I have a moment?" He slipped inside, then murmured softly to Sigral. "It's the gahveh maker. The fire crystals have worn out, and we need to put in new ones so we can make gahveh. Do you know where the spare shards are?"
  33. [19:53]Zazanther Rerenther nods. "Don't have too much choice."
  34. [19:53]Sigral Vast narrows her eyes and blows out her cheeks, "Khel, I told you not to interrupt me during an interrogation."
  35. [19:54]Khela'a Polaali: "Yeah, but..." He looked at No Name, then Kakase before standing on tip toes, his voice an urgent whisper. "We're out of gahveh, and some of the boys are getting a little... unsettled about it..."
  36. [19:55]Sigral Vast whispers in irritation, "Omi-thal, just-- here."
  37. [19:55]No Name: "Just for official purpose it's best that you answer with a clear 'yes' if you want me to represent you. I promise I will do my best job." she said, offering the lalafell a smile before she glanced to the officers.
  38. [19:56]Sigral Vast looks at Miss Kakase, "Well?"
  39. [19:57]Khela'a Polaali winced and then backed out of the room.
  40. [19:57]Sigral Vast mutters under her breath to Khel, "They're in the cabinet in the 3rd storeroom under the dungeon supply closet.
  41. [19:57]Khela'a Polaali poked his head back in and smiled. "Thanks, boss!"
  42. [19:57]Zazanther Rerenther: "Yes."
  43. [19:58]Sigral Vast flaps an annoyed hand at Khel.
  44. [19:58]No Name smiled brightly before she looked to the Inspector. "Excellent. Now may I have a private moment alone with my cilent?"
  45. [19:59]Sigral Vast turns back to Miss Kakase, ignoring the lawyer. "Take all the time you need."
  46. [19:59]Sigral Vast gives Kakase a pointed look and walks out of the room.
  47. [20:02]No Name watched the inspector walk out of the room and she let out a groan. "She's got a huge stick up her ass." she muttered, turning to Kakase, smiling pleasantly. "Let's get right to business then. You're arrested based on being a prime suspect for... murder of what was it..." She muttered, her eyes dropping to the papers. "56 people."
  48. [20:04]Zazanther Rerenther nods. "Seems to be and do have to agree with your assessment of her. Claimed I was impeding investitagion dispite anwering all questions she asked. Here cause she didn't like the fact that my answers didn't get her where she wanted."
  49. [20:05]Zazanther Rerenther: "Anyway, either you have a knack for showing up for random people or my message made it."
  50. [20:06]No Name: "Sounds like a true Blade then. So do you know that there's slim chances of you walking away free from this through legal means. They got a reputation for finding wrong people and pinning the murders and crimes onto them and get the case solved and over with. I'm afraid I may have lied a bit. I'm not really a lawyer but I am someone that... may be able to help you still."
  51. [20:08]Zazanther Rerenther nods. "Thought so. Though I did take percautions just incase something like this might happen, but the more help the better truth be told. Not that I'm not happy those mages were dead but it gets me no closer to my end goal because they are dead and not by my hand. Hard to think anyone would feel someone like me could even kill that many at once."
  52. [20:09]Zazanther Rerenther: "Though it could of been done over a week and the bodies just dumped there too."
  53. [20:09]Zazanther Rerenther: "Since the place was alive the week before."
  54. [20:12]No Name smiled. "I am pleased to hear that you are not a fan of the mages... And I do have my hands on a... *very* through foresenics reports." she said, tilting her head for a moment. "I want to make a deal with your Miss Kakase. There's no getting out of the interrogation I'm afraid but I want you to give truthful answers to the inspector, I would like to keep using Blade's resources in finding out more information about the mages. Do that and work with me in finding these son of bitches and >>
  55. [20:13]Sigral Vast comes back in the room sipping tepid brown liquid from a mug and grimacing. "Had a nice little chat? Ready to answer a few questions?"
  56. [20:14]Sigral Vast roars out the door. "KHEL! It's not fixed. Dammit... hold on a sec."
  57. [20:14]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> (before Sigral gets back) "So...tell truth of what I'm really doing? Though we know she probably won't believe it either."
  58. [20:16]No Name: putting an end to them. If you agree, I'll get you free this week. You know this is your best chance. I assure you, you have place for you to lay low." She said before pausing. "Misleading truth then. I'll trust your judgement in this case."
  59. [20:18]Sigral Vast "... and you have to WAIT until the water heats up. For crying..."
  60. [20:18]No Name: "No no, I'm asking you to stay at my.... office. Working together to figure this out. I need an answer now. Yes or no."
  61. [20:19]Khela'a Polaali: "I thought it *was* hot already! The old shards heated the water up *quickly*! Not like these cut-rate shards they're foisting on us. I tell you..." He lowered his voice to an emphatic whisper. "They're trying to screw us..."
  62. [20:19]Sigral Vast: "Time's up! I hope you got all your i's crossed and t's dott--- strike that. Reverse it."
  63. [20:21]Sigral Vast: "It's time to answer a few questions, Kakase."
  64. [20:21]No Name: "Excellent." she said to Kakaze before she turned to Sigral. "Just in time. Kakase is willing to answer questions you have and I will be present for the... *civilized* interrogation, Miss Vast." she said though she was clearly naming her as 'Miss Big Stick up the Ass' in her own mind.
  65. [20:23]Sigral Vast: "Sounds good. Khel!"
  66. [20:24]Sigral Vast shakes her head. "Just a minute."
  67. [20:25]Sigral Vast strides back out of the room.
  68. [20:25]Khela'a Polaali poked his head in. "Is it three scoops, or fi- I'm sorry, Boss, did you need something?" He followed her as she swept out of the room.
  69. [20:25]Sigral Vast: "Stop playing with the gaveh maker and get in there with a pen and paper!"
  70. [20:27]Khela'a Polaali set down the gahveh scoop and snapped at one of the other officers. "Three! I told you! Now I want this gahveh *made* by the time I'm done!" He picked up a pen and paper and smiled cheerfully at Sigral. "Right away, boss..."
  71. [20:27]Khela'a Polaali entered the room, leaning against a wall, ready to take notes. "Don't mind me", he said.
  72. [20:27]Sigral Vast disagrees with you.
  73. [20:29]No Name let out a small sigh. Ooohh boy. This place was so unorganized. Though she didn't let that show as she kept on smiling pleasantly, taking out her own notepad and pen.
  74. [20:29]Sigral Vast: "Well, let's just begin at the beginning. Miss Kakase, when did you arrive at the mage's compound?
  75. [20:30]Khela'a Polaali turned a curious eye towards the Lalafell, his pen poised.
  76. [20:30]Zazanther Rerenther: "Around 5 to maybe 10 min before you and your bunch showed up. Took a bit of time to ajust to the inside and realize what I was seeing was really what I was seeing."
  77. [20:31]Sigral Vast: "When was the last time you had been at the compound before yesterday?"
  78. [20:32]Zazanther Rerenther: "Around a week ago or so. I was greeted by the usual person inside, though I never got to see the inside before the other day."
  79. [20:35]Sigral Vast: "The Usual person, huh? What sort of business did you usually do with the mages?"
  80. [20:36]Zazanther Rerenther: "Well...you saw from my bag. I deliver potions and rare ingredients for them. Never bothered or cared what they were for."
  81. [20:36]No Name nodded as she jotted away into her notepad.
  82. [20:37]Sigral Vast: "Where do you get these potions and rare ingredients?"
  83. [20:38]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "Potions just from the Alchemy Guild. The rest using various contacts that we merchents keep."
  84. [20:38]Zazanther Rerenther: "Adventures, Botany Guild, ect."
  85. [20:39]Sigral Vast: "How do you get the orders? Walk me through it."
  86. [20:40]Khela'a Polaali scribbled furiously. Shorthand he had not.
  87. [20:44]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "Potions I just simply purchase though the normal merchent channels that the Alchemy Guild has. Same with the Botanist Guild in Gridania. Adventurs are always keeping and selling odd things from the stuff they kill. Sometimes they sell to me, other times I just have to inquiror or there are channels to know when something you need shows up."
  88. [20:44]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "Its a bit more complex then that but it's the simple version."
  89. [20:45]Sigral Vast: "And how do you get the orders? Do the mages contact you directly?"
  90. [20:46]Zazanther Rerenther: "Depends on the client. In the mages case, I'd get a list in the mail of what they need and by when I do my best to fulfill it."
  91. [20:47]Zazanther Rerenther: "At least I think the mail. They could just slip it in with it."
  92. [20:49]Khela'a Polaali glanced at the door, then snuck over to it, opening it quietly. He gestured outside and whispered something.
  93. [20:49]Sigral Vast: "Yesterday you mentioned that you thought you might have been set up. You mentioned a rival gang."
  94. [20:50]Khela'a Polaali gestured again, whispering a little more loudly.
  95. [20:50]Sigral Vast: "Who do you think might be interested in murdering 56 mages--Khel, you'd better be writing this down."
  96. [20:51]Zazanther Rerenther: "It was just an idea. That many dead you have to wonder if someone else wanted them dead from the outside or it was an inside job to weed out people. The fact tha you guys showed up shortly after made me wonder if you guys got tipped and who did the deed needed someone to keep the heat off of them."
  97. [20:52]No Name: "No worries, I am getting all of this down." she said with a smile to the inspector. "I assure you, I'll send over my copies of the notes."
  98. [20:52]Sigral Vast: "So you maintain that you had nothing to do with the deaths of those mages."
  99. [20:52]Khela'a Polaali: "Hsssst!" He peeked back in the room, then mouthed something exaggeratedly to whoever was outside.
  100. [20:52]Zazanther Rerenther: "To be honest, no idea. I'm not fimilar with all the various mage groups or those who many have some sort of gruge against said mage groups."
  101. [20:52]Sigral Vast gives the lawyer a dry look.
  102. [20:53]Zazanther Rerenther nods. "Bad for bussness if your clients are dead. I'd have no reason to kill anyone."
  103. [20:53]No Name smiled very sweetly at the inspector, possibly doodling a crude cartoon drawing of the inspector into her notepad.
  104. [20:53]Sigral Vast And grits her teeth, "KHEL! Get over here and take notes or so help me I'm going to jam your tail so far up your---"
  105. [20:54]Khela'a Polaali jumped, then yelled out what he was trying to whisper. "Just bring me a gahveh with sugar!" He blinked, closed the door, then returned to the wall, pen at the ready. "Sorry, boss..."
  106. [20:54]No Name tightened her lip as she glanced to Sigral and briefly at Khel before she tore her eyes away, focusing on her notepad rather intently.
  107. [20:57]Sigral Vast rubs her temple with stiff fingers and closes her eyes, "Did you source your materials from anyone new on last week's order?"
  108. [20:59]Khela'a Polaali looked up from his paper. "This was the order *before* you killed all the mages?"
  109. [20:59]Zazanther Rerenther shakes her head. "Nope. Just got my stuff though the normal connections."
  110. [21:05]Sigral Vast: "Now, now Khel. We're just looking for answers here."
  111. [21:06]Khela'a Polaali blinked, then chuckled nervously. "No, I was just wondering where in the *notes* we were..." He muttered something under his breath about needing gahveh.
  112. [21:07]Sigral Vast: "Here's the thing. If I'm going to be honest, I'll tell you right now. I don't think you killed those mages. But I also think you know more about this than you're letting on. Let me help you. Tell me what you know about those mages and what kind of business they were in and I'll do my best to help you in your predicament."
  113. [21:08]No Name glanced up from her notepad, watching the officers and the lalafell, pushing her glasses up her nose.
  114. [21:08]Zazanther Rerenther <Kakase> thinks for a moment. She'll reveal at least the nature of the mages. If anything, it would let them know of the slave trade."Ok, here is what I do know about them."
  115. [21:08]Sigral Vast: "Khel, why don't you go grab some gahveh, and bring us three extra mugs."
  116. [21:09]No Name: "No gahveh for me. I prefer tea." she said softly with a small smile before she glanced to Kakase.
  117. [21:09]Khela'a Polaali looked up, relief in his eyes. He nodded, capping the pen and rolling up the papers. "Right away", he said, slipping out the door.
  118. [21:12]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "They "were" part of most likely a larger group of mages who more then dabble into the slave trade around Thanalan. I've heard that they use various means to control the slaves and gives the knowledge of control to whoever buys the slave(s)."
  119. [21:12]Sigral Vast takes out a small notebook and pen and nods to Kakaze, "Go on."
  120. [21:14]No Name tightened her lips even more, her gloved hand moving over the notepad, listening to Kakase.
  121. [21:14]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "That's about all I know. I had heard thier previous seller got picked up by the Blades and sort of stepped into his role. Though he might of been dabeling into other activites not related."
  122. [21:16]Khela'a Polaali returned bearing a tray with steaming cups of bitter black gahveh, cream, sugar, and one cup of hot tea. "Here we go", he said softly.
  123. [21:17]Sigral Vast nods to Khel, "Thank you. Please pass it around. And Hakaze, how do you know they were in the slave trade?"
  124. [21:17]Sigral Vast murmers under her breath to Khel, "I've got this. You go make sure Sully isn't fooling around with the gahveh machine."
  125. [21:18]Zazanther Rerenther: "Rumors."
  126. [21:19]Sigral Vast: "Rumors aren't much use in the courts. Do you have any solid evidence? Witness anything? It could help with your case."
  127. [21:19]Khela'a Polaali: "I think Sully is more interested in fooling around with Fochs", he joked, setting the tray down and slipping back out of the room.
  128. [21:20]Sigral Vast watches Khel go and sighs with relief.
  129. [21:20]No Name looked to Sigral, pressing her lips tighter. "Miss Vast. If you are convinced that she isn't responsible for the murder of 56 mages... Why don't we get Miss Kakase out of this dreadful old cell before she gets ill from the germs.
  130. [21:23]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "I'm sure the building with the bodies might provide some clues, unless now in our absence that evidence has now disapeared."
  131. [21:23]Sigral Vast: "Unfortunately, we don't have any private places to hold conversations at the moment, and Miss Kakase made it known that she'd prefer... discretion."
  132. [21:24]No Name smiled sweetly at the Inspector. "I only meant that she step outside of the cell so we can stop talking to her through the bars as if she was a wild animal which I think we all concluded that she is not some beast or murderer..."
  133. [21:26]Sigral Vast smiled toothily at the lawyer, "Until my questions are answered, we'll stay right where we are. My job is to get to the bottom of this. And I'm patient."
  134. [21:27]Sigral Vast turned back to Miss Kakase. "Our forensics team is still cataloging the scene, but I assure you, they are thorough."
  135. [21:27]No Name: "I'm only concerned for my client's health. If it's found out that she's sick, injured or hurt under your watch, charges could be made against you, Miss Vast." she warned, pushing her glasses up along the bridge of her nose.
  136. [21:28]Zazanther Rerenther <Kakase> coughts a little.
  137. [21:29]Sigral Vast laughs out loud. "Charged with what, exactly? Miss, what-ever your name is, people DIE in these cells waiting for their dates in court. You don't see the powers that be making much of a fuss, do you?"
  138. [21:30]Sigral Vast: "Where did you say you practice law, by the way?"
  139. [21:30]Sigral Vast gives her a suspicious look.
  140. [21:31]Sigral Vast writes something in her notebook.
  141. [21:32]Sigral Vast roars, "KHEL!"
  142. [21:33]Khela'a Polaali opened the door, sticking his head into the cell. "Boss?"
  143. [21:33]No Name: "Improper detainment of the suspect, filthy conditions, and it seems like you do not have... *qualified* employees to keep things running around here. Which implies just how much of a quality work your team is putting into this case." she snapped, standing tall and proudly. "I work at Harris-Oslen firm."
  144. [21:34]Sigral Vast: "Harris-Oslen. Khel. Take this to Marty. She'll know what to do." Vast jots a quick note on the outside of the paper and hands it to Khel.
  145. [21:34]Khela'a Polaali nodded, taking the note and slipping back outside.
  146. [21:39](Over a linkpearl)<Khela'a Polaali> "She suspects you, Sayeh", he murmured over the pearl to No Name. "I can delay this, but I can't stop it. Not without casting suspicion on me, as well."
  147. [21:40]Sigral Vast: "Miss Harper, I don't trust you, and I don't trust your client. But I want answers and I'm willing to help those that help me. You help me, Kakase, and I'll see to it that charges aren't filed and that you have a comfortable place to stay during the investigation."
  148. [21:42]Sigral Vast: "Now, Kakase, you can't think of anything else that might clarify this situation? Any evidence you might have that the mages were engaged in the slave trade?"
  149. [21:42]Sigral Vast: "Unfortunately, rumor isn't enough."
  150. [21:43]No Name gives the inspector a look. "I am only a lawyer, I work for the law." she said before she paused, her hand reaching up to her ear. "Excuse me, business calls." she murmured softly, taking the moment to step further away.
  151. [21:44](Over the pearl)<No Name> "Shit. She'll jump to just about any conclusion that she'll get her results.... What did the message say exactly? I've been using real places and I've paid quite good money to place an alibi there."
  152. [21:46](Over the pearl)<Khela'a Polaali> "It says she's got a funny feeling about you, because you're so insistent about getting Kakase released without going through channels. It sounds like Kakase's story isn't helping."
  153. [21:48](Over the pearl)<No Name> "*funny* feeling, no proof then? Kakase already agreed to working with us, we need to have her escape at some point.
  154. [21:54]Sigral Vast: "Kakase, is there someone... threatening you? Someone that is keeping you from telling the truth?"
  155. [21:57]Zazanther Rerenther nods. "I did oveerhear a few things from the house by accident. Born with good hearing, which has its moment,s good or bad. They threatened a groosom death if I said a word anywhere."
  156. [21:58]Sigral Vast shakes her head. "A story that is damn common these days."
  157. [21:58]No Name: "There ou have it. It's dangerous for my client to even be here... These mages are dangerous and they could strike here if they know where she is." she said firmly, letting out a tense sigh, worry creasing along her brows.
  158. [22:02]Sigral Vast gives Miss Harper a quizzical look. "The mages? Why would the mages want to hurt Kakase? Unless she DID kill their bretheren..."
  159. [22:03]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> "Wel...I did just tell you about them."
  160. [22:04]No Name: "She was their contact, she's a libabilty to them... Please, I'm only concerned for my client's safety. I need her alive to make my living afterall." she said, placing a gloved hand onto her hip.
  161. [22:04]Sigral Vast: "To be honest, Zazan, we've known about the slave rumors for a while. Haven't been able to pin anything on them due to aforementioned Lack Of Evidence. But if someone went on the record, was able to give evidence so we can lock them up, well, then."
  162. [22:04]No Name: trade contact*))
  163. [22:07]Sigral Vast: "But I can see you are in a rather precarious position, Kakase. You have information, but you are concerned about your own safety. I'm willing to make a deal with you, that allows you to pass information in safety."
  164. [22:08]Sigral Vast: "Miss Harper, surely you see that it's in your client's best interest to assist with the investigation, not remain a suspect."
  165. [22:09]Sigral Vast: "Her help in bringing us information would go a long way towards establishing trust."
  166. [22:10]Zazanther Rerenther <Kakase> ponders for a moment. It...might be useful having the Blades help...though knowing the Blades...they might not be of much help anyway. "How far would my word go anyway? I'm sure by now the mages by now, those alive anyway, have known of my arrest." Thank you very much for that she says in her head. This would make it harder to once again get close to the mages. The killings made her life that much harder...
  167. [22:11]No Name smiled pleasantly. "Of course but her saftey does come forst. Relocate her to a more isolated and less known location first. And possibly try to keep it off the books to avoid the mages from finding out where she is. And I still expect to have visits with my client."
  168. [22:13]No Name: "Infact, I'm sure you have no problem saying on the books that she was eventually released. It will draw the mages back out, searching for her out there... While she's... tucked away somewhere safe." she added. "Might even draw them out for you to hunt them down..."
  169. [22:14]Sigral Vast: "Kakase, I can do better than that. If you turn informant for me, I will drop the pending charges and guarantee safe passage out of Ul'dah. All I require is for you to be available on linkshell and assist us in our investigation of the mage's organization."
  170. [22:15]Zazanther Rerenther <Kakase>'s eares twiched abit at the lawyers alst words. Getting one alive would be useful...
  171. [22:16]Sigral Vast: "Or if you prefer, we can use you as bait. Your call."
  172. [22:16]Sigral Vast smiles pleasantly.
  173. [22:17]Zazanther Rerenther: <Kakase> While she wasn't sure who the Lawyer really was, she felt something connecting them. "I could do both. I can go into hiding with her while staying an informant witn the Blades."
  174. [22:19]No Name: "So I would end up being Kakase's trusted handler. You can contact me to reach her, and she can assist you while still putting her safety first. This is fine by me."
  175. [22:21]No Name: "And if you want. You can even assign a Blade to stay with us. If that makes you feel better." she added, crossing her arms, holding the leather case to her chest.
  176. [22:22]Sigral Vast gives Miss Harper a dry look. "I'll be contacting her by linkshell. That is the deal. I can deal with the reality of lawyers, but I try to limit my contact with them as much as possible. As long as direct contact is maintained, we can do this deal."
  177. [22:24]No Name stared at Miss Vast. "Fine, as long Miss Kakase agrees to that."
  178. [22:24]Sigral Vast looks at Kakase.
  179. [22:25]Zazanther Rerenther <Kakase> nods in agreement.
  180. [22:27]Sigral Vast: "Then we are agreed." Vast contemplates Kakase. "You should find a bath. Make friends with soap."
  181. [22:28]Sigral Vast grins and unlocks the bars to the cell.
  182. [22:28]Sigral Vast hands a linkshell to Kakase.
  183. [22:28]Zazanther Rerenther takes the linkpearl.
  184. [22:29]No Name: "No worries, I'll be taking care of her. I already got a place in mind." she said happily, looking to Kakase. "Once we're done here, we can head for there if you like."
  185. [22:30]Zazanther Rerenther nods.
  186. [22:31]No Name glanced up to Sigral. "Are we done here?"
  187. [22:32]Sigral Vast: "Check in is every 72 hours, unless you have information that can't wait. I'll be expecting your chime." She looks at the lawyer. "Miss Harper."
  188. [22:33]Zazanther Rerenther <Kakase> nods. While annoying to change, she could live having to do it every three days. "Alright."
  189. [22:33]Sigral Vast: "Good luck, out there, Kakase. Be careful where you lay your trust."
  190. [22:34]Sigral Vast: "Khel, get the seargeant. I want her to call up three squads. I have an assignment for them."
  191. [22:36]Khela'a Polaali re-entered the room. "She's checking on the lawyers. They seem legit, but she's going to talk to them directly. Three squads?" He nodded. "Right." He slipped back out, the sound of his voice raising as he called together the Blades.
