  12. Description: Adams kidnapped Gina, then beat and r*ped her, before finally strangling her to death. He dumped her body in the freezing Mahoning River, where it was found the next day by a muskrat trapper. The murder went unsolved, until Adams gave a DNA sample upon his release as a registered sex offender after serving 18 years for the kidnapping, r*pe, and robbery of a school principal in 1985. The sample matched the DNA found on Gina's clothing.
