  15. The whole point of this build:
  16. Always fight defensively. You should be negating 1 attack per round with Crane Wing and 1 attack per round with opportune parry from Swashbuckler. Once you hit level 12 reserve 2 attacks from your full round action for extra parries. You should be able to negate 3+ attacks on you every round. Hit points only matter if opponents can actually touch you. (Note certain combat maneuvers can be negated by Crane Wing and Parry such as Disarm, Sunder, Trip; as well as spells with a melee touch delivery). As great is it would be, Vital strike is just not viable for this build for 2 reasons ... 1) duelist requires you to hold attacks for parry attempts, which means taking "full attack" actions. 2) You need more attacks to get more attempts at critical hits to refresh your panache.
