  1. BUILD VS BUY PBNS?
  2. What do you prefer buying or building your own PBN?
  3. The cost of buying is less, but is it worth it since its shared with other = bigger risk, but again you get more links for your money.

  15. A Private Blog Network is not really private if everyone knows about it. If you are planning to do serious stuff, do it yourself.
  16. I think it's really a question of your revenue generating project or projects. Quick and risky, smaller investment of time and money, then buy. But if you want to build a bigger project and multiple projects, build and care.
  17. It depends hardly in your knowledge about the topic. There are a lot of things to bear in mind, and the investment could be extremely high.
  18. Like everything in life, if you buy you are "purchasing" others knowledge, if you do it by yourself it might be cheaper at first, but worse overall.
  19. Also, you can do both, buy and learn.
  20. It's all about cost and experience. Most PBN links you buy with a one time payment are typically going to be deindexed in a few months. A lot of providers cut corners on design and content making it easy to tell they are PBN. While link providers that are charging a monthly fee are gonna invest in design and content. They get monthly revenue from the website from links they sell and likely ad revenue as well, they are real websites. The latter is the far better option but it is not going to be cheap.
  21. Building a PBN network is expensive. Good domains are hard to come by and expensive when you find a good one. Then you have to build it out to look real, publish good content and treat it like a money site. The cost or time to keep publishing content can get pricey, as does hosting. PBNs are a good idea if you have multiple money sites you can link out to. This helps spread the cost of maintaining these sites.
  22. Personal site? Build my own PBN
  23. Use other PBN services for more blackhat strategies, but as someone else said above rental PBNs tend to be more well-kept, but you can still get an ROI using one-time payment PBNs
  24. Build it yourself that’s the best way to go
  25. Both options can work, depending on whether or not you know what to do with them.
  26. I would say for most people, some of the "PBN" links sold here do more harm than good. It's really not very difficult to put together your own network and you have so much more control over everything, but if I'm in a rush or just need to test something - I might just buy links.
  27. What do you prefer buying or building your own PBN?
  28. The cost of buying is less, but is it worth it since its shared with other = bigger risk, but again you get more links for your money.
  29. Any PBN which selling the links are pretty simple to detect, not only single PBN but whole network based on some patterns.
  30. Let's think what will happen with your site then.
  31. What more worse, no one of those PBN owners know how Google detecting their network.
  32. Thanks for all the help, will build my own !
  33. I have read often here from great contributors that you should link 80% to homepage and then 20% to pages.

  44. Is it ok to spend these powerfull pbns to link to homepage with branded anchor text or should it be saved for the money pages?
  45. Actually, to add on to this, you will also frequently get planted into the wrong topical neighbourhood.
  46. Think of it like this, you see a list of reviews about a book that say "it's the best recipe book". So you pick up the book, open the book and it's titled "The dangers of radiation". You read a few pages, and it's about radiation, wavelengths and etc...
  47. Confusing right? Google thinks so too.
  48. In addition, you'll find that most of the time the Link Package you bought - well half the links will drop off and die after a few months, because these sellers build these PBNs en-masse. They are burners and are not made to last.

  53. Got it, I got the point now and its kinda obvious as well - cheap pbns = shitty domain, shitty content.. if not how would they sell it for 20$ and make profit...
  54. BUT , I have read a lot of guids on PBNs now ,But I am not still sure if I should use them for homepage or moneypages
  55. Selling links from PBNs are pretty nice business from the time when Google disabled toolbar PR.
  56. Because at that time, if any site was penalized PR was reset to PR0 or N/A
  57. So today you can get links from PBN which have very tiny power or no power at all, because Google have bunch of ways to detect PBNs build by inexperienced people.
  58. BUT , I have read a lot of guids on PBNs now ,But I am not still sure if I should use them for homepage or moneypages
  59. Both. It really depends on your situation and what you're going after.
  60. If you're trying to spice up the rankings for a specific keyword or cluster, I would say, the easy way to summarize a more detailed explanation is - "which pages rank for your money keywords"? Based on the answer, point it to that page. On the other hand, if you're trying to raise the authority of your domain, switch it up a little. When you own the PBN, you can get away with getting 2 links into an article (i.e. 1 to site, 1 to T1 profile or social media etc...)
  61. Of course, you also need to take into account your site's structure, the existing anchor ratios and how aggressive you can be with that in your niche / serp location.
  62. Don't think of PBNs as "the only links you'll ever build" - I treat them like a stim-pack. Think of it like this, they should be used to push your site from #5 to #1.
  63. Before getting into PBNs, learn about building up a good foundational layer and building a rapport with the Big G. Once your site has that bit of trust, you get a lot more wiggle room and can get away with so much more.
  64. Generally speaking, when done right - that foundational layer alone will push you to P1 or close by.

  66. The cost of buying is less, but is it worth it since its shared with other = bigger risk, but again you get more links for your money.
  67. May I suggest to also look at outreach campaigns (guest posts)? You would be surprised, specially if you can get a guest post from a niche relevant website!
