Let them know that as soon as they get access to slack, they must go and set up 2FA on it within 48 hours of receiving access. Since they already have a forums account, they must set up 2fa there within 48 hours of being accepted in interview. Link the moderator guide again and tell them to bookmark it, and when the time comes open it and go to the Two Factor section to learn how to set up 2FA. Mention that they will not have Xime access until moderator training, and at the end of their moderator training they will be walked through how to set up 2FA on Xime. After which, they must have that set up within 48 hours after training.
  263. [!!!NEW!!!] In addition, do not attempt to login to Xime until you have completed your General Training. It is important that you don’t because it will prompt you to set up Two-Factor, and if set up incorrectly you will be completely locked out. Due to this, do not attempt to login to Xime at all until after you have completed your Training.
  264. Mention that failure to set up 2FA within a reasonable amount of time will most likely result in their removal from the staff team.

On top of that, they are generally a friend in a new unfamiliar place, and we highly encourage they communicate with them in general. If their Mod Buddy is unresponsive, do not be afraid to contact a member of Sr. Staff about the issue.

  304.
  305.
  306. Interviews are held with at least 3 Senior Moderators, or 1 Senior Moderator and 1 Administrator (Do note: Not a Developer). If you cannot reach two other Senior Moderators, you can contact an Administrator to take their place.
  307.
  308. If the interviewee was previously demoted for inactivity reasons or resigned, an Administrator does not have to be present.
  309.
  310. If the interviewee is a VIP who has not caused many issues in the past, an Administrator does not have to be present. However, if they have it is highly suggested that you make sure one is present.
  311.
  312. If the interviewee was previously demoted for malicious reasons, an Administrator must be present during the interview, and must be the one to ask the ‘If Previously Demoted Moderator’ questions. They do not have to lead the interview.
  313.
  314. If the person leading the interview must head off for some reason, a second person must step forward to continue leading where they left off. Remember to state on the Application response who the two leaders were, including who started and who took over.
  315.
  316. If the interviewee has to leave unexpectedly for any reason, end the interview. In the future when they are available again, make sure to start over from the beginning.
  317.
  318. The application questions are not to be asked during the interview. Because of which, it does not matter if they have their application open during the interview.
