  6. Sofya: The young human had arrived on a bus to this mysterious town, a few villagers from the last place she went suggested this area. It was different from the couple she had before. It was much quieter. Seeing a library not too far from the bus station, she'd walk towards with a staggered breathe. As soon as she brought her right hand to the door, she lightly pushed it forward to open it. Her ice optics peeked in while her onyx strands covered one of her eyes. Stepping inside and gulped nervously. Wearing black tactical pants along with a grey tank top. Also having a bag across her hip and it held some clothes along with her wallet. That's all she really needed. Making her way silently towards the fiction mystery area of the establishment, while her feet made light steps. Once there, she'd grab the book "The complete collections of Edgar Allen Poe." It was honestly her favorite novelist as well as poet. These readings helped her get through the dark times with her abusive family and what drove her to get out of that place. Shaking her head at the memories, she started with her favorite poem by him. Even whispering the first quote that forever stuck in her mind, 'Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."'

  8. Colyn: The night had gone on too long.. or at least longer than Colyn should have let it. He groaned a bit as he peeked his eyes open, the question every morning her didn't remember anything from the night before, Where have I ended up today? Thankfully the small town he lived in wasn't too pissed about Colyn passing out all over town... He cleaned up and helped wherever he could, even paid for a lot of repairs in town. Grey eyes peered out at as they opened, noticing a few familiar things.... like a park bench, some trees.. The park? After pushing his hand back through the slightly long black hair, hadn't been cut in a while, he moved to sit. Shortly after he was standing, finding his cigarettes in his jacket pocket before pulling one out. He would light it up as he started his walk back towards home, a little house on the beach... no doubt Constantine was angry he hadn't come home last night, hopefully he didn't run off again.

  10. Sofya: After buying the book with a tiny money she had left, she leaves the establishment but as she came out of the building she felt something bump into her. Gasping and falling backwards, the women shook her head. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to bump into you." She put her book in her bag. Lifting herself up to her feet, she looked up at the person she bumped into. Seeing the lean, long coal strands. Grey irises, and talk. Blinks a few times as her ice hues peered up at him. Her own raven strands covering one eye. "I'm really sorry."
  11.
  12. Colyn: Had he been paying any attention to where he was walking, absolutely not. Smashing right into the smaller person but sacrificing his phone to catch their arm, keep them from falling. It was a quick reflex, a bit surprised he managed still feeing a bit drink. A slow blink as his cigarette hung from his lips, realizing she'd apologized for hitting him.. Wasn't it his fault? He pondered for a moment before realizing his phone was ringing on the ground, although he did not seem eager to answer it. His grey eyes fixed on the woman as he finally shook his head, "No it was my fault. Are you alright?" Another realization, he still had ahold of her arm, instantly letting go as he didn't want to give off the wrong impression, his hands going up to show he meant no harm, "Wasn't paying attention to where I was going."
  13.
  14. Sofya: Once he caught her before dropping to the ground, Sofya looked at him surprised. When he let go of her arms and asked if she was alright, she nodded. Seeing him surrender his hands up, she shook her head a bit with a tiny smile. "It's alright and yes I'm fine. Thank you." Her voice being soft and understanding. Seeing his phone on the ground, she picked it up and handed it to him. The cigarette threw her off a tad but she wasn't going to tell him to put it out. Her ice hues fixed on him, just for a brief moment. "I'm Sofya." She began. Nervously giggling and took a single step backwards. "I hope I didn't damage your phone when bumping into you." Quickly looking at her feet, preparing for him to yell at her. It was a trauma response and an old habit for her. "Thank you for catching me before I fell. It did mean a lot."
  15.
  16. Colyn: A soft smile pressed across his lips as he watched the woman for a moment, then noticing her grab his phone. Oh man could he chuck that right now. Nearly glaring at it as he took it back from her, but then his gaze was soft as he glanced towards her, "No worries, I honestly hate the thing." He stowed it back in his pocket before he reached to take the cigarette from his lips, snuffing it out in his finger before tossing it in a nearby trash. Offering his other hand with a warm smile, he chuckled, "Nice to bump into you Sofya. Are you new around here?" The thanks for catching her made him grin, random but it was just another simple thing for him. It happened before... he was absent-minded sometimes and with his large frame, he usually knocked people over. The six and a half foot man was well toned under the loose white dress shirt, which he luckily buttoned when he woke up, only a slight amount of his chest showed. Clearly solid muscle and the small traces of ink on the left side, maybe some of the scar was noticeable when he moved..
  17.
  18. Sofya: When he mentioned he hated his phone she raised an eyebrow about it. Someone that hates phones? Thats different considering a lot of people are obsessed with technology. Watching him finish his cigarette, her gaze never left his. Though was careful not to stare too much since it could be considered rude. Once he offered his hand to her, she hesitated at first but snakes her hand in his. Firmly shaking it showing she could be trusted. As he asked if she was new around town, she nodded. "Just moved here." The grin made her blush a little. He was a much taller than her and honestly that made her happy he was. The loose yet fitting clothes made her blush rise. Catching the tattoos a little, she canted her head in curiosity. When she realized she was staring like a deer and headlights, she shook her head then looked at her feet. "I didn't mean to stare." She began. Her strands falling in front of her face almost completely covering it. "Are you new here too?"
  19.
  20. Colyn: The fact that his phone was ringing and hadn't stopped since he ran into her, it was clear why he hated it. If it wasn't one thing it was another, most things he tried to avoid.. man I could be surfing. Crap, he zoned out, her hand snapping him out of it. A firm handshake returned before his hands were stuffed into his pockets, nodding as she answered the question with what he had expected. Her smell was new, hadn't smelt it around here ever. His grin only widened a bit as he noticed her curiosity, although it was a sudden realization of how messy he was dressed. Shirt half buttoned, no shoes and his pants had some mud on them, probably from the beach. What he had done last night still beyond his recollection, so he just rolled with it. At least he had his wallet, cigarettes and phone, that's all that really mattered. He chuckled and shook his head, "No worries, I kind of have it open to see." A small shrug as it wasn't anything that bothered him, another chuckle as he heard the question. In no way shape or form was he new to town, he basically resurrected the small town, "No not at all. So if you ever need a tour of the town or something you can always find me, I'm sure I'll be around."
  21.
  22. Sofya: Seeing that he also zoned out when she did, it made her chuckle a little. The firm handshake in return made her smile. Seems like he can be trusted. The fact his grin got wider when he noticed her curiosity, it made her raise her eyebrow more. The "messy" attire didn't bother her in the slightest honestly. When he chuckled and shook his own head about her being curious, she finally asked the question she wanted to. "What are the tattoos of? That is if I can ask." The continued laughter of her questions made her worried but tried not to show it. When he mentioned that he was not new to town and could give her a tour if she wished to, her smile grew. "Thank you. Makes me happy to hear." There was a part of her that sparked throughout her frame he wasn't normal. She didn't ask nor wished to. If he wanted her to know she'd know or learn it on her own. "Why this town? Live here all your life or move here?"
  23.
  24. Colyn: There was a small tint to his cheeks as he heard her chuckle, must have noticed him off in his own world. The beach was sounding better and better the more he thought about it.. and the more his phone rang.. He just ignored it, quite obviously too. A warm smile spread as she asked about his tattoo, one giant dragon that spread all the way up his left side. And without much thought he pulled the side of his shirt open a bit to show the tribal ink better, a rather intricate design of a black dragon, wings wrapped around his shoulder while the body went down his torso. Although there was a large scar over the left side of his chest, stopping just below his shoulder blade, but he was pointing at the tattoo, "My friend did this for my birthday a long time ago, one of the three I have. Born the year of the dragon and I've always loved them. He took one of my drawings and made it better." He hand would have dropped after noticing the smile, he would have to get her number or give his... but his phone just kept ringing. His fingers tracing the outline of his phone before he grabbed it, same number... he knew who it was and did not want to deal with that. He silenced the call before flipping to his contacts, offering the phone to her, "Add your number and I'll send you a message so you have mine." Why this town? Interesting question, one he thought about a few times. But one answer was always true, "The wave are the best here, right by my house." A small shake of his head before he reached up to fix the slightly long black hair, in need of a haircut, "Nah, I moved her a while back. Fell in love with the people and the beach."
  25.
  26. Sofya: As she saw his smile spread when she asked about the tattoo, and he opened his shirt to expose the tattoo more for her, her smile stayed apparent. Getting a little closer to see all the fine work for the ink but also caught the scar which gave a look of concern. Hesitatingly she brought her hand over the scar with a gentle look upon her finger to sense how deep it went. Still looking over the tribal work, she listened to the story of it. It bright the smile back knowing it was the the life he is according to the zodiac. Once finished she took a step backwards and was caught off guard when he in a sense asked for her number by handing her his phone. Though she took it and imported her number with her name but also put a butterfly emoji next to it. Handing his phone back to him and nodded. When he mentioned the waves were better here and right by his house, she chuckled again. "Surfer. Very nice." Sofya watched him fix his hair and nodded when he explained he moved there a while back. Sighing to herself once she realized why she had moved there. I moved here because my family abused me and raped me. She thought to herself. Shaking her head at it and fixed her figure to be more happy for him. "Personally just needed a change. Somewhere new is all." It wasn't a completely lie. She did need somewhere new but she needed to get away from the heartache. "You said there are good waves by your house." She began. "I've never been to a beach, can we go? I'd love to see." When the realization came to surface that she was being bold the same blush she had before returned. Nice one Sofya... Nice going.
  27.
  28. Colyn: The scar was through and through, a nice scar on his back where the blade exited his body. He noticed the look but remained silent, it wasn't exactly a topic he liked to talk about, only if he had to.. or was drunk. His eyes were fixed on her the entire time, only glancing at his scar once when she touched him. He caught all the gestures and subtle movements of her body or expression, even the slight changes in her heart rate. Especially when she was closer and when she spoke, not quite a lie but not completely the truth, he wasn't going to pry. The number was more for her, in case she needed help in town.. honestly everyone in town had his number. A small grin spread as he noticed the butterfly by her name after she handed his phone back, only getting a glimpse before his phone was ringing again. An eyebrow twitched... he'd have to answer eventually, but he didn’t, silenced again as he heard her question. A bit surprised, a blink as he nodded, "Uh yes? As long as you're not allergic to dogs or anything.. otherwise we'll just go to the local beach. Even then he's probably gotten out.." The last part muttered under his breath as he pulled out a cigarette, stepping forward and around her, "Follow me Sofya."
  29.
  30. Sofya: The small grin upon his figure when he noticed the butterfly on her name before the phone kept ringing. She shook her head about it since he didn't seem to want to pick it up. She wouldn't ask unless he wished to. When he mentioned they could go to the beach by his house if she wasn't allergic to dogs or anything, it made her chuckle again. "I enjoy dogs. Honestly I was saved from drowning by one." As he stepped forward and around her while pulling out a cig, she quietly followed after that. There was something different about him and she couldn't exactly pin point it. Her giving her number to him, it made her heart flutter a little. Though she kept a smile upon her figure. The very thought of being at the beach brought up memories of when she was little, how she was jealous of all the other kids in her neighborhood. All the stories she heard that she wished she had. It did hurt but now she could experience it for herself. Alas, she did have one friend from that neighborhood that was a lycan. Sometimes she wished she could have been one so she could have gotten away from her family faster. Though things happen for a reason right? Even if they are shitty ones.
  31.
  32. Colyn: Well that worked out well, he continued to lead the way towards his house, avoiding a certain part of town.. one where his responsibilities lie. He light up the cigarette as he glanced back at her on the walk, wondering a bit about the woman but uncertain of what he should ask. Dogs would be good, a small nod as he smiled back at her, exhaling some smoke, "Constantine is a big dog but he's a lover, wants all the attention he can get." The path to his house was along the beach, eventually moving through a park that headed for the sand. His feet moved through the sand as he headed down the beach, "Welcome to the Pacific Ocean Sofya." A warm smile as he turned to walk backwards, still leading the way down the beach, "Do you know how to swim? Constantine is not a fan of the water so there's probably no chance of him getting in the water."
  33.
  34. Sofya: As he glanced at her after lighting up his cigarette, she looked up at him with another smile. When he explained his dogs name, she couldn't help but chuckle. "Constantine as in the comic book character?" Sofya teased to start. "Sounds like a good puppy." After a little while they had arrived to the beach right by his house, she looked out at the open water and smiled brightly. Also in awe. Seeing that warming smile of his causing her to chuckle again while he walked backwards. "Yes I do. When I was little, I was always in the water. It was a pain in the ass for everyone to get me out of it." She commented. Luckily she had a swimsuit in her bag that she brings everywhere she goes. Once they got to a place she could be comfy, she put her bag down and grabbed her swimsuit and towel from it. Placing the towel on the sand as a holder so none of her things could get sand in them. "Can you turn around for a few minutes while I get into a swimsuit please?" The human girl asked. Honestly it'd e a good time for him to get Constantine if he really wanted.
