- After being humiliated by an extremely strong Rift monster and being stripped of his saiyan heritage and of his access to his true form Kale dissapeared from sight for a while. He felt as though he was now worthless, about as good as a human with slightly more power. The thing that made him special was no more, the thing that made him a saiyan was no more and that pained him deeper than the loss itself. He now only had one thing left of his saiyan heritage to protect and that was the other saiyans. They were all that was left of his planet, of his people now that his own connection was severed.
- He had to protect them with his life but how would he do that while being so much weaker than them? He needed to grow stronger and if there was a revelation that would push him to grow stronger, it was certainly this. Without any special training, without any tricks or games. He was going to surpass his brethren so that he could defend them better. The only way he can protect them is if he is stronger than them.
- And with the lack of his tail, he would no longer have his Oozaru form to rely on. As much as this crippled him, it also opened his eyes to the fact that without that form he was powerless and that he needed to acquire strength naturally. That was the monsters point the whole time, his power was purely his own with no extra form to bolster it. Kale needed something else to bring him to that level and without that something else? There was no chance for him to win.
- This was his chance to change that. Without his form, he was forced to actually work on his martial arts, train hard and figure out some way that he could improve his power
